I don't think the software is the problem. Some games are entertaining me, some not but with every software I can find a game that suits ME. What Im saying VaRiXD is that its not impossible to win big from $20, but chances for that to happen are really slim (when I say big, I mean sums like few thousands that you mentioned).

Also, how much you gonna bet should depend on how much playtime you want. You can deposit $100 for example and waste it on 2 spins at $50 bet per spin, but chances that you will score a winning spin are not so big, so I wouldn't recommend it. You can also bet $1 per spin and at worst you will probably have 150+ spins to play, so even if you loose you will at least get some value for your money in the form of entertainment.
