    I have heard of some pretty outrageous prizes but this one had me flabbergasted!

    The Taj Mahal Casino in Las Vegas is running a promotion for a $25,000 plastic surgery prize with the winner determined by the player who earns the most player points.

    The surgery can be on any part of your body from flabby arms to tummy tucks and face lifts!

    Do you think this is a great idea or insanity?

    LOL.  As someone who is undergoing reconstructive surgery right now- I had a double latissimus breast reconstruction in July- I have to say it's a good idea.  I wouldn't agree with it before, but it's expensive even with insurance covering it so hopefully someone who really needs it will win it imo....

    I don't think it's such a good idea. I wouldn't go for that prize because I don't really need plastic surgery, most people don't except maybe those with severe burns or stuff like that.

    If it is surgery that is really necessary and not to be vain then it would be a nice thing. But for the most part it's probably going to go to a person who may have never really considered plastic surgery.

    I am not for plastic surgery at all as far as trying to look younger. I have seen so many of these stars get plastic surgery and they looked so much better beforehand. I think this would just encourage someone to get something like face lift when they may not otherwise ever consider it.

    I wonder if the winner could sell it off cheap to someone who really does want or need the plastic surgery?  I guess it depends on whether its just an unnamed "voucher" prize or not.

    Speaking of unusual prizes, a radio station in Ontario, Canada is certainly making waves.  They are giving away a baby.

    Surgery is a serious thing.  There's always the chance that you won't come out of the anesthesia; what a prize that would be.  I think the benefits of surgery should be considered almost like a miracle and not something to be taken so lightly.
