it means there are no wager requirements and you can cashout anytime. however it usually also means your bonus is non-cashable.

example: 100% match bonus - no playthrough
                                                 no max.cashout
                                                 bonus non-cashable

Depositing $100, you would receive $100 bonus which will give you $200 to play with. However if you wish to cashout, the $100 bonus will be deducted from your account balance - so if you try cashing out at $150, you're only going to get $50.

        hope this helped =)

If you just like to play for the sake of playing, then a bonus is a good idea.  BUT...wagering requirments are usually very large.  20-50x bonus and wager!  And very often games like blackjack, poker and roulette don't count towards it.  Think about the bonus from the casino's perspective:  The object is to get you gamble more, which ramps up the odds you will loose.

YOU will lose...don't go putting your negativity on others that may be better gamblers than you.

I happen to do very well with a bonus, and Junkie might also do very well with one too...

Play it right and deposit bonuses can work in the players favour. How? It increases your bankroll. Thereby giving the player an opportunity to play more games and/or increase the per game. In turn, hopefully, will also increase the winning amounts per game played. Although the same could be said about losses but again because of the deposit bonus you have bankroll to cover a few bad games. As per meeting the wager requirements. My tactic is simple - have fun! Believe me, when you are having fun and playing the right slots that produce winning payouts, wager requirements are a breeze to meet no matter what the amount. Even if it's 1000x.

If I may suggest, look for a casino that you feel most comfortable and confident with. A casino that treats you like a VIP, that you know the terms and conditions inside out, and that you know will pay you in a timely manner. To me, this is bigger than any bonus offer there unless you are only looking for freebies. Should that be the case, then someone else may better be able to help you as I, depending where it's from or how it's obtained, prefer not to use them.

        happy winnings!

Thanks guys for all the good advice I really don't like bonuses and would rather just do a straight deposit, however my funds don't allow me to do that sometimes and that is when a bonus is indeed is in-need

I just didn't know if no playthru really meant no playthru. So when you take the no playthru bonus, you can cashout at anytime(less the bonus money)? If so that sounds like the bonus for me But I know those are probably pretty rare, especially at the reputable casinos!

SLOT JUNKIE......also, you have to be very careful what the casino considers "playthrough."  I 90% play roulette, and about 5 percent blackjack and poker.  At most sites those games do NOT count towards playthrough requirements.

As you have stated, there ARE some no playthrough out there.  When I became a VIP at one casino, they gave me a $200 welcome bonus, with no play through.  Well.....guess what???  I played some dollar blackjack, brought the bankroll down to 190 and CASHED OUT!

well dont be too happy if you are offered a big matchup for your deposit.
recently i played 500% deposit matchup...and well unaware that the bonus cant be withdrawn, you need to win more than 100 (cos i deposited 20)
It's not an easy thing to do even with low wagering req.
Well next time should get small deposit matchup so that u wont regret it in the end. .
I think the best is still to deposit without any bonus

and just from a business point of view.....the bonuses are designed to make the chance of even random winning much less, much closer to zero percent than 25 percent...otherwise,  the casinos would never offer them if it didnt give them a definate edge.  ever.

nal,  you need to finish the rest of mindocs sentence to put the three words "you will lose" into proper context.  he just stated an absolute fact
