- well this sums up the "casino recession" today i think has been probably my biggest loss and downfall in gambling ever.
1st off had a "sure win" at the bookies off someone who usually tips right on the football... put £200 stupidly on the game... result didnt come in
then off i go to pkr... absolute dry as hell. £150 deposited, never made profit at all in their casino (not even 10p)
then i thought... "maybe i'll give betfred a go" ... wish i hadnt
put my final £150 in my bank to play with and its shockingly tight as hell
blackjack was sooo appauling its probably put me off the game for life
bets at £1 would occasionally win... if i bet over £3 though... no bet would win. I had BJ, dealer has BJ, i have 20, he has 21, i make 21 he has BJ... It was exactly like the game was fixed dead against me.
sooo i think what about live BJ.... how wrong i was again to choose that, it remindd me of when i lost £300 ages ago at mansion casino playing live BJ, it as the same... i would be dealt mostly 12's n 13's, then as soon as i get a 20, even if the dealer is showing a 6 they somehow manage to pull out a 21 outta 3 or 4 cards... very nasty
then slots... pfft, £60 worth of spins on 5 slots, at 40p a spin... n guess what? not 1 bonus, not 1 free spins feature... and my highest win was 36p
seriously think its put me off gambling for life... dont get me wrong... im not being a "sore" loser, because i know in the end i'll always lose, i like the entertainment but surely £150 deposit (over $300) should last more than 30 mins play time with a few okish wins... and not just be a constant money eater
edit: after checking my bank balances damage i can see now is the time to end gambling, in general it isnt as fun, 1000's blown on rivals with no withdrawls, and the worst ever losses in 1 day just make me realise how much the now and again small wins arent worth the risk... good day all!!
- Hi sparkz,
Sounds like a bit of a nightmare all round to me. Have you considered making smaller deposits? I generally make small deposits of between $20 to $30 and I regularly cash out at Microgaming sites and cryptologic.
There was a thread on Blackjack saying how fixed it was "online" but I would have thought with the "live dealer" perhaps it would have been better but clearly, it's not the case.
If you continue to gamble, I wish you a bit more luck.
- well i tired again at betfred casino... this time £1 stakes... £150 put in to play with... purely a complete joke
I would advice anyone to never deposit to betfair if you like "fair" odds.
i played blackjack and slots at the minimum, having lost over £200 there in the past week to what seemed very "rigged" games
so it was £1 a bet a 20p a spin... not once did i break into profit... and the blackjack hands were more rigged than iv ever seen before
a double on 11 would always bring me to a 12 or 13 and the dealer would always get at least 17. BJ for me would mean BJ for him. 21 for me would mean 21 for him or BJ, and 20 for me would be 20,BJ or 21 for him.... fixed or what?
It cant be that "i was unlucky today" because before the last 2 sets of deposits gave exactly the same results.
Crooks with a high street name? I think so. Not once had I broken into any profit..
The live dealer again played exactly the same... i played 12 hands and didnt push/win 1 of them... it was dealer with BJ or dealer with 21 to my 20,
Even the dreaded rival casinos arent this bad
my lesson is stay away from Betfred.... certainly because of theyre ripoff shernanigans I cant afford to gamble again this year
I think the thing with it is that its just put me off... i know maybe some othertime the same sorta hands will come up as casinos get "tighter"
Just playing free chips porbably wont work... becasue although I will have money (very little of it now) if I play a freechip and lose I may be tempted to play for real again
- thought id bump this as something regarding betfred happened today
I thought to myself "hang on a minute... theres many casinos iv never had a free chip and, have never made a withdraw and have made deposits exceeding $400, surely they can offer a freechip"
you would think any casino would because after all iv paid their staffs wages for a few weeks with my deposits...
supro (or whatever its called) did, i deposited $400 or so with them... no withdrawls... they gave me a $20 bonus but closed chat before i could ask about WR, i played some "bejewelled" game... was going ok... up to $30, but then... wham... it froze... i exited. reloaded that game... clicked spin, 3 times and it said insufficient funds... to my horror the bet level had reset to $10 a spin so lost it all ..... thats the end of that rant anyway...
next on the agenda was the beyond "fixed" betfred..... hell they pretty much robbed me outta over $400 with their constant losing streak they put on me (not once made any profit... no free spins, no features etc)... So I thought they would jump at the chance of giving me a free chip... after all if i won off it then it would only be a fraction of what i have deposited and they may think it could tempt me to deposit more..... but nope, they cant offer me 1 says support... not even a £20 chip...
am I missing something here? but its the 21st century for hells sake... Casinos are ever becoming less greedy... sure they want your money... but a lot do genuinely care and want to give you lots of entertainment and fun. Giving a free chip to someone who has "lost big" should come with the territory as most casinos do. Partly because they may feel bad for the player or want them to have some more entertainment or mainly because they hope a free chip will tempt them to deposit more.
- totally agree there .... i couldnt believe it... i swear thats another tactic casinos use... instead of leaving the bet amount you play at when you last played a certain game they reset it everytime back to the highest, probably in the hope you just click spin thinking your bet is on 50c when you last left it... them 3 $10 spins didnt even win a cent either
