I enjoy black jack at land based casinos and have done pretty well with them.  But, playing online against the "computer" is very, very frustrating.  But, recently, I have been playing against other players in tournaments.  I have won a little and seem to like the format.

Any general advice out there concerning these black jack tournaments?  I would really like to get some feedback from experienced people.....thanks!

In my opinion just like brick and mortar casinos it depends on number of decks is being used, how many face cards you have seen, and if you got a moron sitting next to you and you had just split two 7 and ran off 8 low cards and the dealer got a 6 showing and the moron hits on 14 letting the dealer not get the face card lol but yes 1 on 1 with puter seems a little rigged but i find hold on everything over 11 but under 16 when dealer got 6 or less showing

I've been playing BJ tournament for awhile at cherry red, inetbet, casino titan,.... and this game won me $ consistently.  I won more than $1000 in 3 weeks without even depositing a dollar one time.  I played free tournament, won and play other tournaments and kept winning in those 3 weeks.  Anyway, when you are in mano vs mano, you can bet whatever bc there are only two of you, 1 will be winner and other will be loser, but when you are in multi tournament, dont bet big, I usually bet around $100 - $150, because you have 15 rds to play and you need to make sure u have enough money to battle to the end.  I saw some players bet big and usually busted out early.  They have free tournament almost everyday and free $200 tourney every sat.  So, try these free tournaments first to see if you like it.

when you are at bj tournament page, click on multi tournament on the upper right and scroll down, you will see $200 bank roller saturday, you wont be able to sign up now thou, you have to wait till near sat to sign up and you have to be present when tournament begin.  There's a free tournament coming up on this thursday, $40 of love.  Also there's a free tournament tomorrow which is "victory point tournament", but you gotta have those victory points (25 pts), to get these pts, you can either play mano vs mano for money on single tournament or you can play free game which is play for free, when u win you get 1 pts.  Hope it helps
