I just received an email stating what the payout percentages are at All Slots

        All Games 96.25%
        Slot Games 96.10%
        Table Games 97.14%
        Poker Games  97.50%

Poker has the edge there but overall, I think these are quite high for an online casino when you consider land based slot machines in the UK are set at 90 - 92%.

What do you think about these figures?

First, "pay out percentage" is a bit deceiving.  It is a long run average of return.  Also, HOW are these percentages given?  In nice $100 winnings?  Or in 50 cents or $1increments.  A 95% pay out percentage may really mean your deposit just gets chipped away at a slower rate than 85%.

Second, for online casinos...I don't believe these percentages for second!

Try this:  For a week play slots on fun mode.  Put in $100 and spin through it.  Do this for a week....and then tell us if you REALLY believe in 95% payout!

I have to admit that I am quite sceptical too Doc and that was why I posted them.

I'll be interested to hear what others think.

I was told a few years ago (I forget who) that the way the percentages work is on average if the payout was say 95% then you would win "something" 95/100 spins. So if you were playing a 100 line game at a penny a line ($1.00 total bet) and you had a winning combination that won you 5 cents it is considered a win. So you spin 100 times which is $100 and win 5cents 95 of those times you're only winning $4.75 but from their point of view you have won 95% of the time.

Interesting calculation process pogoprincess.  It does make some sense too.
