Kayena, I joined 1 of those penny auction sites and it gives new meaning to the word frustration.  My goal was to get a 50 inch hdtv for under $300.  I think I still have 194 credits but havent been on the site in 3 months.

Hi kayena, I've never done a penny auction but I have heard of them.  I'm a bit confused as to how you could compare a penny auction to gambling (maybe I'm missing something here)?

A penny auction is where an item - usually electrical or iphones, ipads etc are for sale and you can buy them very cheaply (bid can go up by 1p each time) but you have to buy bids before you can bid.  Just do a google search and you will find them.  I don't [personally] trust them.

There is alot of scam sites with such out there, but some are legal enough the problem is you will need to bid many 1000times and stay at pc for 12hours straight starting at the bidding, cause yes u can win items "cheap" but the whole idea is maybe 10000 other people around the world is bidding on the time and the time for bidding will never run out until none bids for like 12seconds or what ever time they putting.

Those sites earn tons of money even if you lucky to get like a iphone cheap they earned maybe 2-3times the original price while the bidding was running very smart concept for sure if you can get enough traffic for such site.

But comparing it to casino i cant see any reason too complety difference things.
