  • Hey all,
I was playing today on a RTG site & noticed a flickering glitch, shall we say. I was doing quiet well for once, then, all of a sudden, the screen flickered???" hmmm I thought, What was that?" I went from winning to a constant losing streak. So, being me, I left that slot game & went to another, like most players would do. The next thing I knew, the same flicker happened again on different slot game & again I started to lose. So, I went to yet another slot game & for the third time, the same darn flicker happened yet again??? And yet again started to lose.

Now I'm starting to see what's happening!
Here's the question, " What was that flicker? Was it a glitch or something else? Was my internet provider having problems @ that exact time? (very doubtful on that 1, laugh_out_loud)
It almost seems too strange, that I was actually within a few $ dollars of making a playthru & then, all of a sudden, this flickering occurs causing a complete losing streak???
Has this ever happened to any1 else?
Would u folks like to know what this strange FLICKERING was?

I'm not absolutely sure, but I got a really good clue what is was!

  • I have not noticed that dippy. But it is a good question. I will have to pay better attention and curious if other members have experienced the same thing.

I tend to use the space bar and spin 100 miles an hour. What i have noticed as far as glitches go when i am down to my last few credits and i hit to symbols and a chance to respin for the bonus i will get a message pop up that says "you do not have enough money to play this game, want to make a deposit". Well of course i don't want to make another deposit because i am in the middle of a play and respin for the bonus. But because i hit the space bar so darn fast it launches me to the cashier. When i return to my game the extra spin is gone. Happens to me ALL the time.

  • I would love to hear what TaaaDaaa has to say about this.

  • I have not noticed a flicker exactly, but I have noted the wheels hanging a bit before dropping into place and sometimes slipping like the clutch was bad... both things you might expect from a mechanical machine, but a computer program? I don't think so!

And then the losing streak does begin... down from a winning streak to nothing in no time at all... nothing will hit, even the good old standbys that always hit... But with playthrough you have no choice but to play through! And you go down in flames...

And one other thing I have noticed, how does the machine know you are on your last coin(s) your last spin? Every time I get to that spin the wheels spin a little longer, enough to be noticeable, before the final stop.

  • I was really hoping that some1 from RTG would explain this flickering fluke, but I guess I'm going to have tell you folks what I believe it to be.

In past conversations, it has been mentioned that ur odds on different sites increase or decrease based on the size of ur bet, hmmm................. (Thinking to myself...could this be true?)  RTG costumer support / live chat has also mentioned the more I bet the better chances I had to win. Although, it just seemed the more I bet, the faster I lost.

Well folks, this is partly true! BUT it's not based on bet size!

1st I would like to say that costumer support  / live chat has no clue to begin with, but it's not their faults. They r only a hired hand that the casino uses as a tax write off, lol. Live chat only knows what the casino allows them to know. That's why they seem so unable to answer any question we ask. Hence, why they would tell me that me odds increase with the more I bet! The only reason they told me that, was because they were reading it off the guide the casino provided them.

So anyhow, what was I saying, ooh yeah, Partly true thing!. The TRUTH here is that the casino has several programs tied into their slots games. BUT, the BIG BUT!!, ur odds don't increase upon the size of ur bet,( the more u bet , the better ur odds / this is untrue) , that wonderful FLICKER I saw made me think. That FLICKER was my account being bounced from 1 program to another, A program with lower odds. A program made to make sure I had little chance of winning or making the playthrough.
    How would I know this?
    Well the saying goes,"If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck.....chances r it's a DUCK!"
It was more than obvious to my eye, not only did this FLICKER happen on 1 game but 3. Everytime it occurred, I started to lose.  There's only 1 thing that could explain this from happening on a video slot. Hence, PROGRAM CHANGE!!

    Btw, kaatboots,
A video slot does know when ur running low on ur bankroll. A video slot has a program that knows when ur bankroll goes from $10.00 to $9.99. This program notices because the lack of numbers( 1 less ) To put it simply.
Why do u always seem to hit b4 the end of ur ND.? This is the casinos way to try to lure u into depositing. lol  Their thought here is many players would think the game is starting to payout.  Although, most know this already, & we r smart enough to leave! lol

  • Hey all,
Today this odd flickering glitch happened again. I used another ND code to play on a RTG site. Although this time, instead of the consistant lose much like last time, this time it happened directly after I used the code & started to play, about 5 spins into a slot. And this time, I hit a bonus round winning about $10.00.
    So, u have to wonder.....hmmmm................

I'm absolutely sure NOW, what this blink / flicker is!
As I said b4, it was a program change. By this happening again, it proves my theory to b correct.  This time, it happened to my favor & paid out, but why did it occur when it did?  Well, seeing I have a large playthrough, it can give a few money$ dollars away, lol. I still won't make the playthrough because the program will change again b4 I get there.

So, it makes u wonder, How FAIR r RTG's games?, seeing that their programs control the outcome of ur gaming so much?? I have posed the same question now for 5 yrs to RTG sites & I will post it here as well.

"What r the odds of winning on ur sites?"

I doubt I will get a reply, seeing for 5yrs now this question has been avoided like the Black Plague, lol. Although, a lack of response, proves my theory to b correct.
I now have another important question that I think every1 should know the answer too. Seeing in the past it has been mentioned that RTG runs a Fairness Test on all their gaming sites. I would really love to know, Who runs this Fairness Test? & How often do they run it??
I know in The USA, State & Federal Governments have a Gaming Board that Test for Fairness in every Real Life Casino, but this is the internet, Is there an online, honest site that does this? Who pays them to do it?, the casino?
This makes u really wonder, doesn't it?

Well folks, I hope this helps all of u. Good Luck.

  • "Flickering Glitch"  hysterical hysterical hysterical exclamation

  • well that is weird and something i have noticed also at vegas tech its something to keep an eye on 8'|

  • Wow yet another question/complaint (conspiracy theory) wink about RTG slots that gets completely ignored. No surprise.

You'll find threads like this in almost every forum, usually with the typical responses from affiliates and others with a vested interest in making sure that players continue to feed these crooks their hard earned $. "These slots are totally random", "you're just having a run of bad luck"... blah, blah, blah..."I know you're gonna hit a random soon and I bet its gonna be huge" ...blah, blah, BLAH.......(BTW kudos to LCB for not doing this).

A response from RTG? Man, please! (check out the recent RTG RTP conspiracy thread on Casinomeister......pathetic!)

First, let me say that approximately 90% of my RTG deposits since I stated playing these slots a year and a half ago have gone to iNetBet and the Jackpot Capital group (yeah, I know, these casinos are 100% reliable and trustworthy....blah,blah, blah.....heard it all before...). Its pretty sad that nowadays players consider a casino to be trustworthy just because they will pay you in a timely fashion - which is nothing more than exactly what they should fkn do.

Secondly, Dippyboy, I know exactly what you are talking about with this "flickering glitch", "flipping the switch" or whatever you want to call it. I've seen it more times over the past couple of months than I can count.

The same exact scenario that you described in your original post has happened to me on LITERALLY almost every single deposit that I've made recently with a bonus at these money-pits. "Random" coincidence?  laugh_out_loud

This ability to change the RTP% of their slots mid-session is nothing new, though, I've been experiencing this for quite some time. Only difference is before this "flickering" shit started they used to disconnect you from the casino. Its just waaaaaay too obvious that these operators have MUCH more control over this software than people in the "industry" would like us to believe.

Bottomline: After hundreds of thousands of spins of on RTG slots (lowroller) I can tell you that these slots are a joke and should be treated as such: meaning they should only be played with money that you can afford to throw away and the only entertainment players should expect is PURE COMEDY. This what I have been doing for the last several deposits that I've made and I'll tell you what- I've been getting a hell of a lot more bang for my buck (of course no cashouts though).

Seriously, next time you guys want to have a good laugh: pour yourself a stiff drink (or better yet, roll up a nice fatty), make a deposit at your RTG of choice (for maximum entertainment- claim a bonus), go to your favorite slot, put it on autoplay, and sit back with your friends or significant other and enjoy the show smiley.

Instead of getting mad or frustrated, LAUGH at how many times that wild that you needed for a nice hit lands exactly where you needed it on the NEXT spin or how many times that scatter that you needed lands on the last reel on the very next spin. I could go on - but you get the picture.

My girl and I have been having a great time trying to guess exactly when the switch gets hit: kinda difficult to do with all of the weird stuff that goes on with these slots: the varying speeds, the reels getting stuck and spinning for 30 seconds, the jackpot counters going crazy on some slots while not moving at all on others, etc., etc. And, of course, the "flickering."

Oh yeah, don't forget forget to laugh at the funniest thing of all: THE END IS VERY NEAR FOR THESE SHIESTERS (as they know).

Hello U.S. regulation = Goodbye "Most Profitable Online Casino Solution on the Net"

    peace

  • I would agree with all the posters here...I've seen this behavior in both the Vegas Tech games and RTG.  I just hope when it happens, that I've been "switched" into the positive program.  I know whether I have pretty soon after it happens.

  • I had another great time playing at an RTG last night (Intertops - associated with the Jackpot Capital group, for those who didn't know).

Well, I guess they (RTG operaters) might be going back to disconnecting players from the casino. This happened within 3 minutes after making my deposit (no lie). No need to explain what happened after that to other players who have experienced this. But hey- at least they didn't waste my time and I did have alot of good laughs  cheesy.

Anyways, the main reason that I am posting is because I wanted to bring up another point concerning the randomness/fairness of RTG slots that I forgot to mention in my previous post:

Think about what the live-chat person told Dippyboy about his chances of winning increasing if he ups his bets. I agree that the live-chat operaters are "hired-hands", probably reading from a script- but I have seen this statement made before by actual RTG casino reps. If my memory serves me correctly- the manager of iNetBet (Emily Hanson) said the same thing in one of the many threads about RTG scams (oops, I mean slots) on CM.

Now think about this for a second:

    A) We are constantly told that these slots are completely "random": meaning that every single spin should have it's own predetermined outcome regardless of bet size.

    But-

    B) They also tell us that our chances of winning increase if we bet more (especially RJs).

    C) I rest my case.

GOOD LUCK y'all and be careful with your $.

  • Hm....I won a Random Jackpot at Club World only 50 cent a spin.....( $ 5800 ) so its not true about betting higher...

  • hmmm....I have seen screen shots of RJ winnings of betting min.20 cents.

  • i can only speak for myself here but whenever i increase my bet i do tend to lose like crazy  8'|

  • Hey all,
In 1 of my previous posts, not quite sure where u can find it, but I have stated that there is no such animal as a RANDOM JACKPOT. Every slot machine in the Real World has a computer chip called a Random Memory Chip or (RMC.) What this is, is a Chip programmed based on the money intake / spins spun on a machine. The RMC's controls the Jackpot or Large hit payout. The slot must first either, based on how u program the RMC, intake a declared amount of cash or hit a total amount of spins b4 it pays out anything of great value. (At the casino I work for, we program the RMC based on the manufacturer of the machine.)

The only way a casino, shall we say, gets away with advertising a "Random Jackpot," is that it is random to everyone that sits in front of the machine because the player does not know how many spins have been spun on the machine nor do they know how much the machine has taken in yet. Although, TRUST ME, the casino knows exactly when its going to hit!
But anyhow, just to re state my past post. It is impossible for a computer to create a Random Sequence of Numbers or Patterns, A computer does what it is programmed to do. Hence, Slot machines are computers that are programmed to make money and they do.

Btw, older slots are more likely to hit than video slots, something else I happen to know that I thought u all would like to know.

  • Hey all,
here's something to think about. How come everytime I ask RTG their odds, they always claim I've opened more than 1 account with them? I only have 1 account under dippyboy ,lol. Then they avoid my question. Amazing huh?

A site operator will be with you momentarily.
Hi! Thank you for using our LiveChat Service. This is 'Linda'. Please verify your Email and Phone Number so that I can assist you.
dippyboy: b4 I certify my account I would like to know what the odds of winning is on ur site?
    Linda: 92% to 95% payout
dippyboy: how do u come up with that figure?
    Linda: It's overall
dippyboy: overall with every1 that plays on ur site?
    Linda: Correct
dippyboy: then how many players play on this site?
Linda: Up to 500 players at a time
dippyboy: not to seem negative but then my personal odds r a lot lower than 92-95% correct?
Linda : Certify account is for depositors
dippyboy: seeing its based on up to 500 people right?
Linda : that is correct personall odds are much different
Linda : i also see you have opened 5 different accounts to redeem free bonuses
Linda : only one is allowed and one chip
Linda : to try out the site
Linda : if you wish to play you will have to deposit
Linda : and payout odds in every casino are always overall
dippyboy: really 5 accounts, I don't believe so
Linda : if everyone who sat down played and received 92-95 percent back no one would win
dippyboy: the casino wins, lol 5-8% everytime
Linda : it does not work that way your generalizing
dippyboy: when was the last time ur site was checked for fairness ?
Linda : its checked all the time
Linda : is there something i can help you with ?
dippyboy: whats the company that checks ur site for fairness?
dippyboy: is there a link u can give me?
    dippyboy: pls?
Linda : you can find that info on the website
dippyboy: well feel free to close all my supposed accounts, I really don't believe I will be depositing on ur site
dippyboy: oh, & pls remove me e-mail off of ur mailing list too
    Linda : http://www.tstglobal.com/
    dippyboy: ty for ur time
Chat session has ended. This may have been a technical error.

  • So the sum of all of this, is that only 1 player wins an average of 92-95% back out of the 500 hundred players that r playing on their site in the time period they r refering to,(hence, not mentioned).  Which means, ur personal odds of winning r about 0.001% and thats only to win 92-95% of what u bet.

I personally rather have better odds to win all my money, if not more. That is a fair casino, Correct?

Maybe, I am wrong about this, but after talking to several I work with, we have all come up with the same odds, did the same math, and believe to b correct.

    * btw, I will b getting in touch with tstglobal to see how often they test RTG casinos as well, laugh_out_loud

  • So which casino was this that you spoke to dippyboy?

Are those odds per person really correct i.e. 0.001% personal odds?  How do you reach that figure?

    blue

  • Hello blueday,
This last conversation was with Cirrus casino with Linda.

As for how I figured the odds for this casino, at my casino I work for, we have a mathematical process we use. I based it on that. (I really don't want to give that formula out).  Although, if u wish to base it on the given info in my last conversation with Linda and just the basic facts in the conversation. An average player has a 1 out of 500, which most would think that the odds aren't that bad. BUT if u do the basic math, ur odds r about 0.00002% chance per 1 hour, but the time frame may vary more than 1 hour. It may be 24hrs as much as we know, which makes ur personal odds even worse than that. lol  Which is even worse than the way I calculated.

    Is my math bad?

The casino also advertises a 92-95% payout, but that's overall! This means, OVERALL= every1 that plays, every dollar taken into the casino, every game, Based on a time limit That was NOT Specified for how long! WOW!

Again, correct me if I'm wrong, but I do know that there r slots in real life that guarantee a 99.9% payout. These slots r anywhere from 25 to 500 machines that do payout 99.9% of intake in a 12-24hr period of time. Personally, I believe that these slots r a bad bet.** U actually have a better chance of winning on older slots, but again, the advertisement sucks players in to play them. And again, the player does not know when the time frame starts from nor when it ends.

Most of these online site advertisements twist their words to lure players in to play, but refuse to give out the basic knowledge real players want to know. Hence, it has taken over 5yrs now just to get this little bit of info. on personal odds.

*Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT trying to bash online gambling nor influence people to play at a real life casino. I'm basically trying to reveal the truth and figure out the best online casino to play at, if any.
    ***So far, I haven't found 1, lol.***

  • No I don't think your math is bad (I made it the same based on the info you gave).

The problem is that, as you say, we don't know all the factors i.e. the timescale or indeed the actual precise percentage payout.  I still struggle to relate 0.0002% to a payout.

(I just wrote out a long complex calculation but I couldn't get to where I wanted to be with it so I deleted it lol)

I find the maths very interesting.

    Thanks dippyboy.

    blue

  • Hey all,
I based my calculations on a real life video slot formula equalling out to 0.001%.
When it comes to real life video slots it's not really based on how much u win but more on the basis of how much u lose per spin. **4 exp.... u bet 100 credits on a penny slot which is = to $1.00 after u spin u win 78 credits back, u normally win almost every spin but in this exp. the player lost 22 cents. but ur still a winner.
What video slots do is 1st of all is change a dollar amount into credits, therefore, players aren't a where of the amount they lose, unless they sit there & try to figure the money they have in the machine. Next, they always seem to have a off number u can bet, such as; 25 lines on a nickel machine, up to 5 credits per line. So if u bet 1 credit per/line ur betting $1.25, hence 5credits ur bet is $6.25( pls note, its not an even amount in dollars). This confuses the player on the amount they r betting. Players tend to forget that it's money now & start relying on the credit system. The next thing a video slot does is that it pays out an extremely odd amount almost ever spin, such as lets say ur bet was 1 credit per/line on a 25 line nickel slot ($1.25) u win 18 credits (.90cents). U know that u lost a few credits (7) from ur original bet but most players don't see they lost 35 cents. *Most players don't bet minimum bet, they play max to qualify for bonus rounds.
This is another trick of the trade. Bonus rounds we all need to b aware of. B4 depositing into a video slot pls note what the max payout in a bonus round is. B aware that 2500 credits on a penny slot is only $25.00 & that ur odds of hitting that aren't very good. So if u put in $20.00 it actually seems to b a bad investment. lol
      I hope this was helpful?

  • I understand what you are saying and thank you for the explanation.

  • Hey all,
After sometime now, I finally got in touch with TST Global, ( the supposed fairness link that tests RTG casinos.)  Btw, I had to contact them thru my works casino name, mainly because as an individual, they won't talk with u. This alone made me wonder.

**Now pay attention to this, this may get a little confusing.**

According to TST,  TST does NOT do any TESTING for online casinos!!! This includes RTG casino. Although, several online casino sites have contacted them to run a ONE TIME ONLY TEST UPON the sites CREATION!!
    * This means b4 any RTG casino was actually a web site, they were provided a test to make sure their program ran properly, (notice....not a fairness test!)
To put this in a simple manner for all to understand, EVERY RTG CASINO SITE does NOT get tested for fairness by the link / company  provided to me by them.

TST GLOBAL actually was amazed that any online site would try to use their company name for advertisement and/ or gambling fairness.

Personally, I find this to be absolutely amazing. Here we have an online casino that can not be trusted.
Maybe, the person I spoke with from RTG just wanted to get rid of me and grabbed a name off of goggle to shut me up?Maybe RTG's are just a huge scam? Maybe, just maybe??? you never really know.

GL every1 in ur adventures. I hope this helps u all in the future.

  • The TST certification Is all about the RNG and from what I read it is just a theoretical paper exercise.

You can read the TST letter on Jackpot Capital's website (bottom right).

  • Hey blueday,
Have u ever talked with TST? I'm finding it interesting that everytime I try to talk about fairness in certain casinos, It seem to keep coming to a Dead End?  I believe that it shouldn't be this hard to for an individual to find out their odds or the fairness of a site.
Maybe, yet again, I have talked to the wrong person @ TST, but it does seem that nobody really wants answer the question of fairness.
I'm not one to give up on things and any help in this matter will be helpful.
    TY

  • I saw some info on another site where they actually wrote to TST about the fact that once an RNG has been certiified, why isn't it regularly checked to see if the source code for the RNG has not been altered in any way.  I couldn't find a response to their email but it does raise a good point.

I notice the date on the letter for JC is February 2009 so that's over 2 years since certification was made.  Who knows what could have been changed since that date.  That said, I think it would be unfair to the casino to assume that anything has changed since that date.  I will surmise that the RNG code is randomly checked by TST.

    blue

  • I doubt very much that anything is checked at all at these casinos.  They are not regulated and wouldn't require anything by law to be certified, monitored, etc.  It's fairly easy to get an RTG license and they have no rules or governing body (especially in Costa Rica) where all the rogues are.

You used to get disconnected by an administrator when they wanted to change your win or loss cycle, now its a glittering screen or something else, but very obvious what's happening.

Personally, I'm not surprised to hear that TST has nothing to do with these casinos after they go live.  It's just a way for the casinos to appear legitimate.  This is the very reason why it just comes down to trust and who you think may pay if you're lucky enough to win.

  • I'd have to say that is the closest to accurate we can assume what Caseyk just said.

  • I'd have to say that is the closest to accurate we can assume what Caseyk just said. I also have done a little bit of dabbling in RNG's with my fantasy hobby gaming, with a computer , and theoretically it is only an emulation to get a random number generated using an operating system and a pc's hardware.
