  • I would like to ask a question here because Ive learned my lessons not to ask in the main casino section.  Over and over Ive seen the term "bonus abuser", what is the accurate definition of this???  I mostly see it when withdrawals are denied.  Everyone of my hundreds of deposits to online casinos Ive used a bonus, and have used the same LCB bonus code 50 to 60 times at the same casino.  My theory is if the bonus code works use it.  Ive never had a problem getting paid from an rtg casino no matter how many times I used the same bonus code.

  • Fantastic win for 25c Sanchya.  Congratulations.

    I guess a bonus abuser is someone who never deposits without using a bonus and consistently cashes out using bonuses.  If that is you Gunny, be aware that at some point they may say that you are abusing the bonuses.

  • Hi gunny,

    I have moved your question to a new thread because it is a good topic. Adding to blue's great reply a "Bonus Abuser" label can result in having accounts locked or disallowing any deposit bonuses in the future.

  • Blue, I asked because of my hot streak in October.  I did a google search for "online casino bonus abuser" and all I saw was a picture of myself on the website.  I already knew I was a checking account abuser.  I am starting to get an abuser complex.  I just got my LCB codes taken away at 2 casinos which is fine and a 3rd coming up which is no problem.  Heck if I get all my money they can take anything they want away from me.  I made a list of things to replace around the house including a new built in oven, dryer, valcumn cleaner, nice Yamaha surround sound receiver and still have enough for a life time supply of dog biscuits for Ms. Lottie Lab.

  • I think I saw tripschick's picture up there along with yours, gunnylab!

    LOL

    HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa you must have ... because as of today, all of my withdrawals and comp redemptions have to go through Slots Jungle finance department.  I am now banned from using any deposit coupons also .... what a crock of s***.  I never take any free chips unless they are given to me by the casino .... so go figure!  I guess they hate winners. laugh_out_loud
  • I think anytime anyone is "ahead of the house" almost every site blocks bonuses.

    You get penalized, in a way, for doing what you are supposed to be trying to do-winning.  Now, I don't know if it works as badly for the players who win but don't cash out.  Are they treated to the ban as well???

  • Players that win but dont cashout are casino's favorite customers so u can get all the bonuses u want and they dont care aslong you keep pushing money there way only lol tongue

  • When trying to make as much money as possible from a business, ambiquous terms are incorporated into their T&C to trap undesirable circumstances and liabilities. A Bonus Abuser, in this case, is one of them. So what constitute "an abuser"? Logically, anyone who does not conform or breaches their T&C. It's so simple...yet ingeniously complicated!!!  huh

    Lets try and list out the ways a player can be considered a bonus abuser :-

    1. Using a no-deposit bonus code more than the allowed one time only, either by the same person, household, home address, email address, IP address or even within the same premises;

    2. Creating multiple gaming accounts for whatsoever reason, although initially meant for claiming that same no-deposit bonus offer;

    3. Claiming a second and/or any consequtive no-deposit bonus offer without having made a deposit first;

    4. Claiming any same bonus offer more times than the permitted;

    5. Using 2 or more bonus codes for any 1 deposit;

    6. Trying to withdraw or cashout any winning, when playing with a bonus, more than the predetermined withdrawable limit;

    7. Playing any other games, when playing with a bonus, other than the permitted ones;

    8. Making too many winning withdrawals when playing with bonuses! (How many times is "too many"?!)

    The above list is not exhaustive, but can you now see HOW COMPLICATED it can be playing with bonuses?!!!  shocked

  • i always play without deposits next they will find a way to label u as an abuser for not taking bonuses

  • I'm not an experienced land casino person, but why are bonuses so different for the online casinos?  In my limited experience, I got a casino card to get me the bonus points for sweepstakes and merchandise and such.  And there were coupon booklets for "bonuses".  In general, you might be limited to only playing a particular type of game (slots) but the coupon was as good as cash.  Nobody was watching to make sure you played 100x your coupon's value.  Nobody cared if you cashed out big or small or not at all.

    You didn't have to come show them you had money to spend, and when you wanted to cashout you walked over to the cashier and got your money.  Nobody was lurking behind curtains ready to pop out and tell you "no, you can't have that money because you used a coupon here yesterday".

    This whole problem with bonuses is just an indication of how much money is being filtered out from the players and into the owner's/operator's pockets.  Won but can't cash out?  Play our tournament so the folks who are paying to play will keep paying while you win and then we don't have to hand out any money.  But it *looks* like we did!  Oh, yeah!  We paid that player (knowing the money was going to have to stay in the account and casino) thousands!

    They are raking in the money and pretending they are handing it out.  Who are the real bonus abusers?  The casinos.

    And Rena and I do the same thing - play without deposits!  As often as possible.

  • beats staring at the walls, that's for sure.  and fun mode isn't really fun.  I miss the good old Tropica and Vegas Regal days, where they made bonuses a regular treat.
