I wish I had save the chat transcript, but I was so p.o'd, i closed it immediately, and uninstalled the software!
First, I received an email saying:
It pays to be a member of Royal Ace Casino - today we're giving away a free chip to all real-money customers:
        Player Appreciation Free Chip

Get a free $20 chip in real casino cash to start building that pot.

Don't forget that Royal Ace has the lowest playthrough requirements around - just 10X for most games (15X for blackjack/video poker).

To get your free chip call us at 1-888-288-2944 or contact us via Live Chat.

Want to know what games we have? You can find that here.

SOOOOO....I log in, contact support, and copy/paste the email. The rep "ALEX" TELLS ME it is only for depositing players and I need to make a deposit now to claim it!
        WHAT THE......?????????
Then he says "want to make that deposit now?"
I say" No thank you. If I make a deposit here, it will have to be after the holiday"
Then ALEX SAYS," OK. BYE. HTG."
        (Are you frigin kidding meeeeeeee????????)
        "ok.bye. htg(have to go)"

I'll tell you what....I am FUMING right now. No where in the email did it say anything about for depositing players only. And b/c I wasn't making a deposit w/them right then & there, he cuts me off like that???!!!!! It's going to take a darn good offer for me to even consider re-downloading their software again!

My loyalty still goes to Titan! At least THEY care and truly appreciate their players.

        Hi acgofer,

I contacted live chat about your problem at Royal Ace.

This is a appreciation chip and only for depositing members. However i was told that a deposit was NOT required for the free chip. Another words if a player has made a deposit in the past they are allowed this free chip without a deposit.

Please leave me you user name and the manager will try to correct the problem.

        Thanks,
        Lips

        Hi Lips,

First of all, I want to let you know that what happened is not, in any way, a reflection of you or LCB.

My username there is also acgofer. I do appreciate your concern, but it's not necessary for you to try and make up for the rep's unacceptable behavior towards me. I'm sorry if it seems I expect better from a casino, but maybe I've been spoiled by other casino's superior customer service.

At this point, it's not an issue of a free chip, really. It's the principle that customer service means more to me than a couple free bucks. And truthfully, I have absolutely no desire to play there now after my experience. So please, don't waste your time trying to rectify the situation. If you are going to contact them anyway, I would suggest telling them that specifications of the free chip should be included in the promotional email they sent out, and also maybe a "quality customer service" training class be scheduled for their reps. I'm sure others would have felt the same way I did if it happened to them.

Thanks for your time, concern, and all you do to keep LCB  a great site!

        Hi Acgofer,

I understand your frustration with poor customer service. Many of these casinos do not realize how important that is to a player. It is a marker to judge and to trust in making a deposit.

Any player that has experienced poor customer service should ask to speak to a manager. I spoke to Paulie and he was very helpful and most kind.

Thanks for your kind words acgofer!!!

bad apple? maybe? if it's just one bad apple...fine..toss it out and keep the basket...but more than one...this could mean something infectious...in this case u may want to just leave the basket and walk away.

so far only one bad apple that we will name Alex.

WHen they say 'real money players' it doesn't (generally) mean people who have a 'real money' account and have only used a freebie, saying 'real money players' is kind of code for depositors. That being said, they DO NOT deserve your deposits if they are rude, so I think you did the right thing in writing them off.
