Ok, so I wanted to try some old school games on a Rival casino again. I managed to get myself registered and all, and although Norway's been sort of "restricted" (no welcome bonus, no promotions available, comp points are not added etc.), I wanted to play. So, I chose to deposit through EcoCard, but the transaction didn't go through, at all. I contacted their support who claimed that I should just try again after a while. I did. Didn't work. I contacted support again and they told me to contact EcoCard. I did. They replied with that it's not on their end where the problem is, but it's on Rival's end. I contacted Rival again. They told me to deposit again. Same failure occurred. It went back and forth 3 more times until I just gave up. I was then contacted by Rival who said that Norway's been banned from depositing through EcoCard. The same with Sweden and Denmark(?) too! So, I had to use other deposit alternatives.
So, if you seem to have a similar problem, just go directly into support and ASK if your country has somehow been blacklisted from depositing through various e-wallets, VISA etc. That way you don't need to go through with what I did.
I was also told that there are SOME Rival casinos that have excluded/restricted various countries from getting any welcome bonuses, bonuses in general, getting comp pts. and deposit restrictions.
WHY they have done this? Well, simply because there have been users avoiding Rival's bonus system, T&C and generic cheating/misbehavior.
So yeah, hopefully you guys already knew this and/or you know what to do if this would happen to you.
