I just got an email from Cocoa Casino. Seems they now cannot accept Mastercard
due to regs. Thus I am sort of "Guessing" that this is the reason for QT to have
lost their ability to fund from any sort of Mastercard, be it charge or debit (Which
I have) >:( >:(
I guess they felt they weren't making enough from us here and abroad??
Here's the email I got:
Dear Xxxxxxx,
Due to the nature of our business and considering the current climate of online gaming in the United States, Mastercard has imposed restrictions on purchases intended to fund online gaming transactions. As a result we will no longer be accepting Mastercard deposits.
If your preferred method of funding your casino account is with credit card, we recommend you use your Visa Card.
Another safe and reliable depositing option is eWalletXpress. eWalletXpress is an instant online money transfer service that provides a fast & secure method of transferring cash to your casino account. There are no fees, it's instantly credited to your casino account, and it's available to players in the US!
Click here to Sign up to eWalletXpress
We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this Mastercard restriction may cause, but we're happy to be able to provide you with many alternate options. For more information, visit our banking page or contact our customer service any time!
Warm Regards,

I paid lots of fee money to ewalletxpress last week because I couldnt deposit with mastercard, even with netspend at some casinos and I think most or maybe all online casinos wont accept mastercard deposits in the future. This is the email I received from cocoa today.

I posted last week that my deposit's were being declined all of the sudden by the same company I buy my pre paid mastercard's from.. so I bought the Visa that was right next to it.. same company, works like a charm.
I get them at my local Fry's, which is owned by Kroger.. so Ralph's etc depending on where you are. -

what's going on, went to drive thru of Mcdanald and they rejected both of my mastercards, but that lady was nite, I had only 85 cents change, but she gave me a large fries, lol.
Now THAT is odd....Could it be that:
1. Someone is about to take them over??
2. They are having financial problems?? (I doubt that!)
3. They've branded all cards used in gambling as "Non-working"??
4. Somebody flicked the wrong switch?? -

Confirmed: Visa declining US egaming payments too
THE CRACKDOWN on US online gambling credit card payments that began on Wednesday is being operated by Visa as well as rival US credit card giant Mastercard, EGRmagazine.com has now confirmed, with tens of thousands of US online gamblers likely to have been affected.
As reported yesterday, US-facing operators were hit by an overnight tightening of restrictions on the use of credit cards for egaming transaction ahead of the implementation of America’s Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) law on 1 June, which bans the facilitation of online gambling by banks and other payment companies.
The action was at the time of writing confirmed as applying to US-registered cards issued by Mastercard, but rumours that a crackdown had also been launched by Visa had not been substantiated. However eGaming Review has now confirmed that these too are subject to the ban.
Repeated attempts to use a US-registered Visa card by an eGaming Review reporter on PokerStars last night were declined, with the American poker giant sending an email in response that read:
“Status: DECLINED.
“Your credit card transaction has been declined. If your credit card information was entered correctly and you have sufficient funds, your transaction was probably declined due to Internet gaming restrictions set by your credit card issuer.”
Other sites likely to have been hit by the action will include PokerStars arch rival FullTilt and US sports betting giant Sportsbook.com, which yesterday announced that it will leave the Cake Poker network to join that offered by Ireland's Merge Gaming.
UIGEA was originally supposed to have been enforced from 1 December 2009, although the US treasury later approved a delay allowing companies until 1 June 2009 to comply.

Genenco: I also have a QT account and have always used my mastercard 9 I do not have a visa). I was going to try and transfer funds to my account through my bank but noticed it said free but your bank may charge. Do you know what your bank charges? I know I just need to call my bank but I really don't quite know what to ask...Do you charge for a international bank wire? I know my bank charge 10-30 for a incoming QT wire. Just wondering what they charged you. Thanks!

Well, I never did that through QT, but the option is there. I have done it through ewallet though. The bank never charged me on that if I recall correctly.
I totally forgot about Wal-mart visa though I am waiting to see if inetbet will accept it...They have not responded to my eamil recently...
