What's wrong with this promotion

I deposited $21 and with that I received 25 free spins at 50cents per spin on Football Frenzy. Well out of the 25 spins I only made 40 cents. So I'm thinking if any playthru it should be low after all I only made 40 cents. I click over to the cashier and holly smokes my playthru was $535. I was dumbfounded. Well shame on me I guess for not reading the terms. Because they state that the deposit, spin winnings have to be wagered 25x before cashout. I've never come across a promo like this. So they did this $21.40 x 25= $535 Somehow I feel I got the short end of the stick

be careful for promotions like this. always read the terms and conditions first before you decide to make a deposit.

Yes I think you did get the short end of the stick.  I guess that remind us to really look at the terms.

Yes I must agree that not only should you read all terms but also as rena suggests stay away from bonuses when depositing...21 dollars was as cheap a lesson as could come though...good luck and may you win that back and more next time....

That is a pretty dire "promotion" - I don't think it even comes into the definition of a promotion.  Looking at this the other way, you won 0.40c that you did not deposit therefore the wagering on that 40c is a whopping x1337.5.  You have been conned!

once happend somthing like that to me..i got free spins after depo..went to the game (forgot which one) it wa sat casino onbling, won few cents and wager for it was 300, i was shocked..i contacted live help and they told me that it is fixed wagering for free spins..no matter how much u won from them!

I did that at casumo once.I got 30 free spins on starburst and like 2 or 3 euros from the free spins.And with my deposit I had like 33 or something.I made like 150 after a lot of play and wanted to cash out.Surpise I still had 400 or more to play.I will never take free spins again from some casinos.

i find casinoeuro or his sisters casinos have the best deposit bonuses with the greatest wagering requirements.
monthly they give 50 percent deposit bonus with a wagering requirements of 30 times bonus only. but, yes there is a but, you can cancel your bonus money anytime and you'll only lost the bonus money (keep the winnings of it).
and that's why I always use their deposit bonuses because to me they are as good as none wagering requirements.
i'd say, give it a try and maybe it's your lucky casino

the runn3r a lot of casinos had this rule in the past.I remember betsson I had the same thing and make the withdrwal.After that they changed the terms and when I tried that again I lost my winnings from what I remember.They will change it and be carefull not to be surprised and lose all.
It is not very fair for the the casino to give the bonus and you withdraw without making the wagering.

I have put some thought into this type of bonus.  Of course the casino needs to assign playthrough to the winnings, but regardless of what happens it is a bonus that benefits the casino.  In the OPs case a small win now turns your deposit into one that is attached with WR.  Take the other instance let say you won $500 on free spins, now your going to have $12,500 in WR. The only way the free spins work out is if you win 75-100% of your deposit in the free spins.  This then truns it into a standard bonus.
