  • Can We bold face this Topic Zuga and keep at top of list

I would like to see  everyone who has an important comment or sugestion for people just starting to play online - post it here. The if i started gambling online today what would i have wanted to know that i did't know when i actually did start.

I didn't realize i had to ask if the bonuses casinos were offering me were cashable or non-cashable. Learned it in regards to the "No Restrictions" Bonus.

Well technically there is one restriction - You Can't Withdraw The Bonus!
It's a no brainer now, but when i first started it wasn't even a thought in my head.

What do you know now that someone starting out might like to know?
  • DO NOT REDEEM TWO NO DEPOSIT COUPONS IN A ROW!!!
There needs to be a deposit in between or you will not be able to withdrawl and probably be locked out from that casino.

This also is a "no brainer" but so many times I see members complaining about not being able to cash out, but it clearly states in the T&C's do not do it.

    GOOD LUCK ALL!!!!
  • I made the topic sticky ... its a good idea  hope we ll get some useful posts..

  • Terms & Conditions for the bonus

    playthru requirement
    min/max cash out
  • For any real time gaming (RTG) no deposit codes, if you meets all requirements and such and want to withdraw
read the maximum you can withdraw first off
(if u try to withdraw more they will deny it and take your winnings)
    Second and most important
you have to send in paperwork to them
even if youve not deposited any money
they want copies of your id (front and back) your credit card, and a utility bill to prove residence
now different RTGs require different papers sometimes so i would advise contacting customer support to be sure.

hope thats clear because i have lost out on 550 bucks not knowing i had to send them something (they dont tell you    you have to ask)

  • I am confused.  I get a chip bonus of 100.00 that is not with withdrawable. I deposit 25.00 and the casino is giving me 400% on the deposit.  I have 125.00 to play with.  I win 2000.00, how much can I withdraw?

  • Keyaa1   You must ask the casino if the 400% non-cashable bonus you used had a max cash out, what the playthrough requirements are (and complete them), and read the bonuses T & C.

Whatever it is they gave you to start with is, on a non-cashable bonus, is not withdrawable and will be deducted from any withdraw request.

Sounds like All but the 400% bonus would be withdrawable. Which is $100. So $1900 should be withdrawable. If I'm understanding your post. Congratulations. Read the terms and conditions and talk to live help regarding your intent to withdrawl, and let us know how it goes.

Keep in mind that you also have to play the $100 bonus 30 x or whatever the playthrough requirement is on that 400% bonus. So if it's a 30 times playthrough, you must have wagered over $3000 before you will be able to get money through a withdrawl. Actuallly it'S $3100 because your 400% non-cashable bonus.

Posted this in a different area, but thought it would be helpful.

I read through these postings, and i'm glad to see that our family is learning and finally understanding that nothing in life comes completely free. If my post is the only post you've read here, i encourage you to read the rest of them. Great advice - coming from those that have found the answers. Well some of them.

I just wanted to add my little tid bit. Yes ALWAYS deposit in between free chips. You're not wasting your money if you're enjoying yourself, so your deposit is probably a minor cost considering the entertainment value that you are receiving. You never know when you're gonna hit the big one, and God forbid it happens (as it always does) on a free chip that you were unqualified to take.

OK enough of the lecture, HERE'S MY TIDBIT - Before depositing, before claiming free chips, before you begin play, contact Live Help for that casino. Ask them questions. Ask them if there is a minimum deposit requirement to qualify you in between free chips. Some casinos allow you to deposit as little as $1 (Using NetTeller or UseMyWallet) but then say that it's not a qualified deposit, and thus disqualifies you from cashing out on the free chip coupon. (Party C..y - to name one mentions no minimum deposit requirement except for on credit card purchases, yet has an unwritten $30 minimum deposit rule to qualify for free chips.

Second question - Ask them if you qualify to use the particular coupon code that you're planning on using. Might be that that coupon was not for the general public. You want to know that up front.

One last thing. They say make a deposit first. Well that's true, but you can't redeem a free chip on top of your deposit. Your account bal must be zero to redeem most free chips. So really you're either depositing after (and on top of) the Free chip coupon which i don't recommend because the free chip coupon has a maximum cash out, or you're depositing without using the free chip at some future time. In either case you're qualifying yourself for the next free chip coupon you redeem by making your deposit.

So spend the 5 minutes with Live chat before you do anything. It clears up any questions, it's a great time to get actual playthrough requirements and they know of other coupon codes that you don't know of (like the no restriction bonus type-with no playthrough and no max cash out) That's typically how i deposit in between free chips. So for every deposit i make i get two bonuses out of it. The Free chip and the no restrictions bonus (which has been as high as 240%- bonus itself generally is non-cashable but it gives your $20-$50 deposit some breathing room to begin your initial play.

Hope someone gets something out of this besides annoyed. lol. Good luck
  • Deposit and withdrawl methods are very important. Also, do research on that casino and find out if they are fast on payouts. As we know, some are very slow. Our forum is a great place to do that, finding the repuation of the casino.

  • Great post/topic Whealthycap.

Most of the basics is covered i think. One advice is to ask around if your not sure, there are lots of ppl in here with lots of experiance of casinos.

$1900.  the 100. that they gave you is only to wager bets with, it is not actually yours.  But it is good, because you probably never would have won the $2000. on a $25. deposit, so its like your playing with their money.

Some casinos you can keep the bonus.  Check each T & C individually.
  • Bonuses are tricky things.  Unless you just want some money in the account to play with, I would suggest not taking them unless your casino has a REALLY good deal (terms) with bonuses.  Some casinos require 20X bonus PLUS deposit to be wagered before a withdrawal can take place.  Given how the odds of gambling work, the chances of cashing out anything will be VERY slim.

  • This topic HAS SOME GREAT INFO for any new players!!!  GOOD LUCK ALL!!!!!
  • I have requested to be taken off all bonuses of the online casinos I play.  Let us think with a business head here:  The purpose of the bonus is to keep you playing; hence, the greater chance you will loose your bankroll.  Yes, there are the few who hit the $10,000 jackpot on their last $1 spin, but those are rare.  I like to be able to cash out at any time.

  • me too.  I do not take bonuses.  Much easier to cash out.

    medtrans

  • Well, not surprised about that. Of course I consider POC a Piece Of C..p.

Have your friend come here (If he doesn't already) and learn the casinos to trust and not to. Plus his experience is a great lesson in reading the T&C of all casinos.

That is really low of them, but like I said. Not surprising.

  • Beware of comp points. Cash them in- no prob. Win a random jackpot-big prob. You can't cash in the jackpot! You can only cash in your comp points times 10. This just happened to a friend of mine and he is livid! He doesn't have a nice thing to say about online gambling! He happened to be playing at Palace of Chance. The friendly chat folks told him to read T&C's, then had the nerve to congratulate him on his winning a jackpot!

Are you saying that while using comp points he hit a jackpot
and they said you can't cash out a jackpot while using comp points?

This is something i never knew myself, i had no idea there was restrictions
on using comp points, aren't those built on money you have used in
    the casino?

If anyone knows more please post, geez i've got alot to learn..
  • Please do LOTS of RESEARCH on the casinos. As far as I can tell the ones giving all the free chips all the time are ROGUES...bad, bad, bad! They use the chips to lure you in, but you won't get out of there with a win even if you done everything right. So just be careful.

  • Comp points, under most casino's Terms and conditions are treated exactly like other bonus monies. Similar to a managers comp, a birthday comp, a Oop's we goofed comp, they will have their own conditions for play.

Once again, the importance of reading the terms and conditions, prior to claiming ANY bonus, prior to depositing ANY money, prior to spinning ANY reels.

Soda69 earlier posted a very neat and concise method he uses At one of the Virtual Group Casino's and low and behold... He gets Paid. Yes still slow...

For comp points, in most cases they will have a set playthrough, and occasionaly they will have no max cashout... but this is rare. Typically it will be between 2x-5x the value of the cashin.

On the other hand, having a pocketful of comp points on record does seem to get you more and better bonus offers and is often a determining factor in having status raised to VIP levels

  • I would of been screaming, ranting and raving, callin them
crooks, theives.. and every other name in the book..
Being that i tried to cash-out a jackpot won with my
comp points.. finding out i couldn't.
Because again i did NOT read and understand terms and conditions
and also support being so rude.

Who would be wrong, who's fault? MINE  embarrassed

But now i do know and i will do more research, although
i haven't cashed in my comp points i let them build lol

Thank you Jimb, i actually did not know this...
But i think before i used the comp points i would of read up on them.
I want to bring this to the attention of others incase they didn't know either.

There was a time i when i didn't like taking bonuses too. Although I still don't really like free n/d bonuses (i use them when given but try to make it or break it quick), I have come to really like match deposit bonuses. Again depending on the site and it's t&cs. Some may look at it as a scheme to intice players to keep playing but actually i really do see it for what it is - a bonus. At the right casino, meeting wager requirements is not as bad as it may seem - frankly i have found them to be easy to playthrough. Making a deposit with a bonus allows me to have more chips enabling me to increase my waging range. A perfectly timed max. bet could be all you need to cruise through the playthrough and eventually cashout.

hey jimbeaux - as you stated for comp points "under most" - here is a casino that is not in this category where comp points = real cash (no restrictions, withdrawable)

    I copied a chat transcript from Jackpot Capital;

Caleb: good night How may I help you?
soda69: i'm just have a question about comp points...and how it varies from site to site
soda69: most sites when redeeming comp pts redeem them as bonus money...but i believe Jackpot Capital is different
    Caleb: ok
soda69: its considered cash here and withdrawable - no restrictions. correct?
Caleb: at jackpot capital your comp point is redeemed as cash
soda69: no wager requirements or restrictions to cash out
    Caleb: that is correct
soda69: great...i knew there was one...

  • i am new to playing online casinos with REAL money...i just wanted to ask...(i know this may sound dumb, but hopefully i can just get an answer) i am planning on depositin with a casino...if i decide to just deposit $50 and want NO bonuses, free chips or codes...etc...if i were to win off MY $50 will i be able to withdrawal EVERYTHING that i win???

  • Hi loricky

The best thing to do is at the casino and before you deposit
talk with live support, and get your answers, a good question to ask
is will everything be okay if i want to withdrawal. (save chat info)

  • took ya'lls advice and spent some time with Chat Person...i will be making my first deposit today with Playfair, feeling really good about this casino....wish me luck!!!

Also check, some online casino limit the amount you can take per week. Say you win 50k, they may only pay you 3 - 5k a week.

My advice, and keep in mind I am an employee of an online casino, but I love to play. I never take the bonus anymore myself, I prefer REBATES/ CHASBACK at month end. Even if not advertised, by not taking bonus, a 25% cash back at months end is normal. (Usually they require like 200 or more for the month though  in losses) Can't hurt to ask!

(PLUG ALERT****Yes we do cashbacks also*** END OF PLUG)

If you want a lot of time to play, and fun, take the bonus though. You can get a lot of action!

    Good Luck!
  • ALWAYS read the terms peeps...always. Open an online wallet if you can cause withdrawal is always quicker.

  • I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but i was reading the T&C for the slot groups. i have cut and paste can some please explain this to me. so if i only play  Baccarat and win most of the time and cash out. They will close my acct. Is all casino like this or only this group.

    13. The following games are the ones the Casino recognizes as vulnerable ones for any of the behaviors mentioned above:

    A. BlackJack or any variation, Video Poker, Tri Card Poker, Baccarat, Craps or Roulette.
    B. Whether you play using coupons or not, if your gaming activity shows a tendency to play exclusively on any of these games or a combination of them, or a combination of any of these and any of the rest of the games that are not considered vulnerable, your account may be closed without notification and your total deposits may or may not be refunded based on your playing history and your withdrawal transaction history.
    C. If you’ve received withdrawals as a result of winnings made on any of these games (where 30% or more wagers were completed on any single one or any group of these vulnerable games), the Casino will deduct whatever amount previously paid to you from the total deposits made and will refund the outcome of the positive difference should there be any. If there’s no positive difference tipping on your favor, the Casino will close the account without any further refunds.
    D. If your gaming activity shows a clear tendency of exclusive gaming on any of these games or a combination of them, the Casino will close your account and will use the same criteria explained in the above paragraph in order to determine if there is any due payments to be refunded.
    E. If you are an exclusive gambler of any of the games considered vulnerable by the Casino, the Casino wishes to inform you that it is very likely that the marketing campaigns, promotional incentives and terms of use offered to you will not serve to your complete gaming satisfaction.
    F. The Casino understands that some loyal members enjoy playing some of their wagers on one or several vulnerable games and this is why it has established specific promos for specific member levels where wagering on one or several of these games is allowed and desirable.
    G. Occasional players of any of the vulnerable games are welcome to play with their own deposits (without using coupons that is) and cash out the full amount of whatever they win as long as their account history reveals a general like for an array of games where no fixation (which is defined as a percentage of wagers on a single game of 30% or more) can be found related to a single/or group of games included in the vulnerable class.
