- What a great topic... I have had it happen a number of times with less than a dollar left. I think the closest one was when I got down to one nickel and played 5 lines at 1 cent on Food Fight, got the bonus round, threw pies at all the right people first and went on up from there.
Just goes to show ya, it ain't over 'til it's over!
I had this exact thing happen to me once at the physical casino.

I had brought in $25 with which to play the slots, and I got absolutely killed. I think I may have survived, maybe an hour, playing Penny Machines at max lines but minimum bets, so $0.25-$0.50/spin depending on the machine.
There came one point where someone had walked up to me and offered me a dollar for a cigarette. I told them I was not going to accept one dollar for a cigarette and that they could either have one cigarette for free, or they could have two and I would take the dollar. The person opted to buy two cigarettes off of me for a dollar.
Anyway, an old friend of mine from High School happened to be at the casino that day, but I was kind of quick with him because I couldn't remember his name and I didn't want to ask, (he remembered my name right off the bat, so asking would have been embarrasing) so I faked it. After losing the $25, his name suddenly popped into my head, so I decided I would track him down and shoot the bull and maybe watch him play for about fifteen minutes. I wanted to make up for being quick with him.
In any event, I looked around for him for about five minutes and I couldn't find him. I was standing around trying to decide whether or not to leave, but I felt so bad for being quick with him, (he was actually a pretty good friend in H.S.) that I decided the casino owed me at least one more cup of coffee anyway.
I poured my coffee and decided to walk around while drinking coffee and smoking a cigarette; there are so many ashtrays all over the place that you can walk around pretty freely without having to worry about getting ashes on the floor before you can flick. I reached into the pocket where my cigarettes were and found the dollar that I had put in there and forgotten about.
I happened to be standing in front of the $1.00 Triple Diamond Machines, so I stuck the dollar in one of them and hit:
Triple Diamond, Triple Diamond, Double-Bar
$180. Profit: $155 on $25 bet and two cigarettes.
I ran into my friend outside of the casino. He was actually sitting on the bench acting pretty bummed-out because he lost the money he brought with him, I think he said $50, and then lost the taxi mone he had set aside when he tried to recoup.
I said, "Well, I had the good fortune to win $180 which wouldn't have happened if I hadn't been looking for you. I guess that obligates me to take us both out for a pizza and pitcher of beer and then give you a ride home, doesn't it?"
He gladly accepted the offer. I still returned home with $150 ($125 ahead) after the pizza, pitcher and tip, so it was a pretty excellent day, all things considered.
- I love when that happens and I wish it would happen more often. I have to say that I've managed to bring up my balance in my last spin or two at the land based casinos more than I can online.
On more than one occasion, I've been sitting at a slot for a while and just when I think it's over I get a great bonus game. In the land based casinos I loved the Winning Bid and Jackpot Party slots. Ever since they changed the graphics they aren't the same :'(
yes ...yes...I LOVE Keno. I'm a low roller even at the land casinos. I usually play quarter keno and if i build it up i play the slots. One day i just didnt want to stay home but only had $20 so i figured ill play nickle or dime keno and have a good cup of coffee. The casino i usually go to has a self serve so its nice you dont have to wait for a server and its right next to my favorite Game King Keno machines. Cleopatra Keno is my favorite one.

I have never hit 10 numbers before or since. It was a good day

- I love this topic, this is one of the reasons I think most of us gamble; Lips, correct me if I'm wrong. This kind of thing used to happen a lot more with MG but that's another story. My favorite recent memory was at Casino Titan about a year or so ago I had .17 (cents) left from tourney money and just for shits and giggles I played the damn thing. One spin
was all I could do (it was on Incan Goddess). Actually, if you want to be technical about it, Hell it wasn't even a full amt. for a .20 spin. Anyway, long story short, I hit 3 pyramids, win a few bucks and play for what must've been close to an hour. The problem was I just couldn't make the $100 minimum to cashout. I had it close though, 'round 90 or so. Hey, I had fun, no complaints.
- Really great stories everyone. But surprisingly this has never happened to me. I was down to a dollar or two a few times but that was all. I remember one time, I was down to $ 0.90 on Count Spectacular slot and I got back to around $15 by triggering free spins. And whenever I managed to recover a bit I would lose that money easily.
