So, I wonder about your gambling profits/loss in total To be honest, I'm not too lucky, overall I lost like 600-800$ I guess Well, gambling is pretty expensive entertainment But perhaps some of you managed to hit few huge wins and make a profit higher than 5k $ in total

I used to play with no deposits offers too but when I ran out of them then I started to play with my own money And it usually doesn't end well for me At least I don't rage anymore - i used to make one deposit after another when I was losing, it always hurt so badly when I noticed that I've made deposits worth like 1k$ within few hours and lose them all Now I don't gamble so hard

I generally do not deposit often mainly because I like to deposit a higher sum and my gambling budget does not allow too many of such deposits. Also, if I get 3-4 times increase in balance I always withdraw so I can say I'm in a slight plus overall.
Used to play high variance games and I was loosing pretty often, but lately I focused on lower variance slots and with no bonuses. That way I nearly always get a good playtime and a decent amount of fun. I also win more frequently. -

I'm glad that we were able to enter into discussions about it, at least there's something new to talk about And if everyone is honest about voting - we have few people who won over 5000$ overall - congratulations! and I'm sorry about those who lost so much.. but they probably can afford it

I have been playing for almost 8 years now.
Overall for all these years I am well ahead ( probably $35K + ) .
I originally started as a blackjack "hunter/advantage player", that was while back while you could still play BJ bonuses at low wagering requirement. For the first year and half my profits were $10K+.
Then the golden age of BJ bonus hunting ended, and its only then when I started "gambling" and losing money.
Then I discovered poker, and became pretty solid at it. For the past 7-8 months I had some really big wins at poker, and one major hit on slots ( 18K eur ).
So given how much I made originally, then to what I lost in the years after up to today and my most recent wins, I am well ahead.

$35K+? All I can say.. is that I'm really jealous now Yea, I heard there used to be really nice casino bonuses few years ago (with WR like 3x, 5x). Now it's pretty hard to find one with less than 20x..
18K € hit on slots? You mean - with just one spin?
I didn't count poker winnings as gambling ones as I don't treat poker as gambling. I'm playing it for 5 years or so -I'm just casual micro limits player but I think I won like $5K that way -

I lost more but I keep it under control, so to speak. It will probably sound boring but my situation has been much better when I became more disciplined as a player. I stick to my budget limits (as much as possible ), and I 'm way more patient waiting for my winnings than before,so I don't play it all back.

I see that not only I'm so unlucky just had a terrible poker session so I tilted, cashed out some money and made a deposit to casino to play on Wild Water.. Lost half of my money, then hit free spins and managed to win +3€, cash out requested Need to keep it under control as Markotik does...

Over time I have had a few good withdrawals on every platform, definitely winning more than I have lost overall by a pretty significant margin. Strangely though I seem to be doing much better since I started playing mainly slots (alongside poker) as opposed to blackjack and video poker. I suppose it's the possibility of the huge wins on slots that put you instantly in the position to cash out?
My favourite slots are Great Blue, Dead or Alive and Playboy. I'm really not too keen on any of the WMS games though I know they are all the rage at the moment on-line.
One area I am definitely down is those god da*n FOBT machines in UK bookmakers shops. The blackjack on those can just be an insult sometimes, the number of times I've seen the dealer turn over 5+ 21s in a row and yet I still go back and play.. I must be crazy I know -

After I stop playing RTG casinos,I started to play Netend-Playtech and Rival insted.....everything went to big +. I dont often make small deposits.....sometimes I will deposit $ 40 and cash out $ 800 and I never play with a bonus, but most I dep. $ 100 or $200 and if I make just dubbel of that I will cash out and then go to some other casino to play and do the same thing. Highest spin $ 2.50 but most time its just $ 1 a spin. -

I was chatting with a friend who goes into those places and they said they lost £300 in around 10 - 15 minutes. I heard on the news the other day that the Bookies are raking in £19 million a month on these machines and that's Net!
Stay away from them if you can. -

I went in William Hills for another go today after losing around £50 a couple of days ago mainly playing blackjack, I guess I kinda felt the machine owed me a win ... okay I admit it I was kinda chasing my losses But I was actually successful in turning £20 into over a hundred in about half an hour playing blackjack at no more than £3 a hand, 3 hands at a time.
Without a doubt when they want to pay out, they pay out... and even though the games say they are random it just feels so compensated to me, I never, ever see the dealer flip over 5 or more 21s/blackjacks in a row online but I do in those shops, its like its just laughing at you, especially if you start upping your stake after a few losses - it just deals you a bunch of 15/16s and itself an ace and you know even if you end up with 3 20s/21s its gonna have a blackjack, its torture.
And don't even get me started on the roulette..!! -

Had to answer "lost more than 5000$ in casinos overall" even thou i'm not 100% sure. There's a lot of casinos where i'm actually winning i did some research on several casinos and the best profit so far is from mrgreen. had little over 2k withdraws and only 300+ deposits. But ofc there's a lot of casinos where i'm losing money..

I should add one more option to the poll: "Better don't ask me that" Hope you manage to hit some major jackpots then
I should change my vote as well (lost over 300$ recently so I lost over $1k already - thank you NetEnt ) -

Just too bad they have changed their slots provider - they had some nice ones, now there are only betonsoft ones-I don't like them..
But still there are a lot of poker tournaments which I enjoy, a lot of freerolls, every month at least one with 1000$ pot and like 150 people playing + you need to use your webcam, so it's really fun -

The most important thing about gambling is that you must be prepared to lose. Casinos are in the business of making money and you all know that ole saying " house always wins" .
Now if you are prepared to lose and consider gambling to be a fun thing to do and if you stick to your gambling budget then the half of battle is won. Everything beyond that is a pure bonus ( yes pun intended ).
Also mind never to chase your losses. Best to terminate the losing session and come back later on or change the casino.
Yes i had some incredible luck as of lately, but thats just it, a luck ( referring to slots here as poker is a whole different ball game ). -

this poll was referring to overall, not just this month, right?? haha!!! good thing you aren't asking about my lifetime, i'd probably be found violently puking over a toilet realizing the HUGE amount of money I've gambled (don't get me wrong-I have enjoyed just about every minute of it (win lose still enjoy!) wins better!, I always hate looking at the win loss statements from land based casinos come January of new year!
added note-when people ask what my favorite hobby is-gambling is definitely one of top 3 things to do!!!!
my family has a saying "the family that gambles together, stays together" hahahaha -

it's a lifetime summary but I guess it's better not to ask you about numbers if option with losing like $5k is not enough for you...
