Witwasverdachte Stijn F. over inval De Regent in Eindhoven: ‘Ik ben flabbergasted’
EINDHOVEN – Stijn F. is “flabbergasted en geschrokken” van de inval van vrijdag in de Eindhovense 
ntoren De Regent. Hij vertelt aan Omroep Brabant dat hij niets fout heeft gedaan en nooit iets met drugsgeld te maken heeft gehad.
F. is een van de drie verdachten in een groot witwasonderzoek. Michel G. uit Geldrop wordt als hoofdverdachte gezien. Hij zou tientallen miljoenen drugsgeld geïnvesteerd hebben in vastgoed en illegale goksites. Ook G.’s broer Maurice is een verdachte.
Geld uit stratenmakersbedrijfje
Stijn F. heeft samen met Michel G. het bedrijf Teletick. Dat houdt zich bezig met online betalingen en telecomdiensten. F. is voor bijna de helft de baas van Teletick.
“In 2004 begon ik met Michel aan de voorbereidingen voor Teletick. We wilden gewoon iets samen beginnen. Zijn vader had een stratenmakersbedrijfje en met wat startkapitaal uit zijn bedrijf zijn we in 2005 daadwerkelijk begonnen. In 2007 zijn we ons met vastgoed bezig gaan houden.”
“Het begon als een grapje. Maar het werd een snelgroeiend bedrijf. Ik denk dat ik een concurrent boos heb gemaakt, want ik heb werkelijk geen idee uit welke hoek dit moet komen.”
Goksites
Stijn F. heeft zelf het bedrijf Bubble Group, waar 55 mensen voor werken. Onder de handelsnaam Sheriff Gaming ontwikkelt hij software voor de gokindustrie. Inmiddels zijn 7 goksites uit de lucht gehaald.
“Het is een legitieme business waar wij mee bezig zijn. Ik heb altijd netjes mijn belasting betaald en ik heb nooit iets met drugsgeld te maken gehad.”
Relatie met de twee broers
F. wil niets zeggen over de twee broers die verdacht worden van witwassen. “Michel en ik hebben tien jaar een goede relatie gehad. Nooit hebben we ruzie gehad. Maar ik zeg niet of ik nu nog contact met ze heb.”
F.’s juridisch adviseur zegt dat zij nog niet weet waar haar cliënt verdacht van wordt. De advocaat van de twee broers wil niet reageren.
