This is true and u can Google it if u want
There was a lady before i was born in my hometown of Mississippi who was thought to be a witch. The actual town was named Ya zoo Mississippi. She would do all kinds of unspeakable things including lure young men to her home never to be seen again. The part im about to tell is not for the squeamish so please skip this part but it was rumored that she aborted unwanted fetuses with a pencil.
It is said that when she grew old she knew she was going to die.Her doctors later reported that she would scream and writhe around saying she heard the cries of the aborted babies. Before she died she told the doctors that was attending her that if she was not chained down and turned away from the sun on her burial day that her spirit would burn down the town. The townsfolk didnt believe her and gave the old witch a poppers burial.
Well that same night a ball of fire appeared out of no where and started jumping from building to building burning down the town..To stop the fire the people had to do as the witch had bade them to do.
To this day the chains are still there placed across the grave and if you touch them u will be
          jailed.

          Witch of Yazoo
          [9 Oct 2011 | | 4 Comments | ]

          Witch of Yazoo

According to local Yazoo City, Mississippi, legend, the Witch of Yazoo rose from her grave and the chain links surrounding it and burned down the city in 1904. Late author and University of Mississippi writer-in-residence Willie Morris made the story famous in his 1971 book, Good Ole Boy. The witch’s grave is located in the middle of Glenwood Cemetery and surrounded by broken chain links. Morris is buried 13 steps away. Guided tours of the cemetery, located on Lithinia Street, are available by calling 662-746-1815 and end at the grave of The Witch of Yazoo.

There was a couple in Europe who had just moved into an old castle. It wasn't long before they decided to empty out the wine cellar. They found a large barrel of brandy and decided to serve some of it at their upcoming Halloween party. They tried moving it and even got a few friends to help, but they couldn't budge it.  So they decided to just serve all the guests and themselves directly from the barrel in order to empty the barrel and make it easier to move later on. A few days after the party, they went into the cellar and tried to move the barrel again. It still wouldn't move. The husband got his saw in order to cut it into smaller pieces and they cut off the top of the barrel. Inside the barrel was a long since dead body preserved from the alcohol in the brandy.

One day 3 girls named Lacy, Maggie, and Jessica were having a sleepover at Lacy’s house. Lacy’s parents went to a festibal and stayed the night at her grandparents house for the weekend. They let Lacy have some friends over to keep her company. But they could not invite boys. Lacy did not listen to her parents and invited her boyfriend, Kaleb, and Jessicas boyfriend, Stephen. Lacy, Maggie, and Jessica were in the kitchen when the doorbell rang. Lacy jumped off the kitchen counter and walked toward the front door. She unlocked it and opened it up. No one was there. Lacy looked around the porch but she couldn’t find anyone there. “Are they here yet?” asked Jessica, excited to see Stephen. “No, probably just some ‘ding-dong ditchers’ or something” replied Lacy. “Or maybe it was Kaleb and Stephen playing around with us.” said Maggie. “Maybe..whatever” said Lacy. Suddenly, there were rustling through the bushes in Lacy’s front yard. Lacy turned around and still saw nothing. Thinking though it was a small animal like a rabbit or a skunk, she closed the door and walked back into the kitchen. As she walked up to the kitchen counter to meet with Jessica and Maggie, the doorbell rang once again, and Lacy ran toward the door, to maybe catch the “Ding-Dong Ditchers” that might be playing a trick on them. Lacy ran and oped the door, and there was Kaleb and Stephen standing with some packs of beer. “Kaleb! Stephen!” yelled Lacy. “Hey Lacy! Got some packs” Said Kaleb. “Yep, by the way, you still owe me for those.” said Stephen. “Fine, but lets get in, it’s freezing out here” “Agreed!”. Lacy let Stephen and Kaleb walk in. She took one last look outside and shut the door behind her. They walked into the kitchen. Jessica jumped off the counter and ran and hugged Stephen as he walk in. Kaleb put the pack of beer on the counter and went over to Lacy and kissed her softly on the lips. “So, what do you guys want to do?” asked Stephen. “Well….lets tell stories” suggested Maggie. “What types of stories?” asked Jessica. “I got this very creepy scary story that happened in Holton not that long ago” replied Maggie. “Well, we have nothing better to do.” said Kaleb.
“Lets go into the living room” said Lacy. Everyone made their way to the living room as Kaleb picked up the pack of beer. They all sat down in a circle and lower the lights. “ok, this happened about a year ago in Holton.” started Maggie “There was this group of teenagers that were all alone and didn’t have anything to do. Well they got drunk and then started hearing things. They heard scratching on the walls and the doorbell ringing repeatedly. They all finally went to sleep and the parents found them all dead with their index finger cut off.” “Ewwww!” Yelled Jessica. “I don’t get it……how was their index finger cut off? And how did they die?” Asked Kaleb. “Murderer could have killed them! But police say it was probably alcohol poisoning. And the index finger, people say it because you use it to ring the doorbell. But again, police say, they could have cut them off cause they were really drunk.” “….oh” Said Lacy.”Well, i am thirsty! Wanna beer Lacy?” asked Kaleb. “Nah, but thanks for asking!” “Whatever”. The rest grabbed a beer and got really drunk. They yelled and wobbled every where. Lacy didn’t want to be around them, so she went upstairs and fell asleep. As she fell asleep, she hear the doorbell ring repeatedly, but she figured it was just her friends. She went to sleep.

The next morning, Lacy went down stairs. When she reached the end of that stairs, she found all of her friend dead. laying motionless on the floor. Each of them with no index finger. She turned around and saw, written in blood ‘Don’t Ring The Door Bell’.

              Scary, funny and true:

Around the age of 16, a few friends and myself hopped out to the cemetery at night on Hallowe'en and started having a seance (I didn't say we were smart 16 year olds..lol)
All is calm and quiet, so of course, we ask for a sign from the spirits.
Then it came: what sounded like the hounds of Hell, barking and howling, dozens and right nearby. We grabbed our gear and ran like schoolgirls to the car and took off.
We drove back the next day during light.
Beside the cemetery? A Beagle Farm!

this is a story of a young captain wrongly accused of treason during the english civil  war ...he was imprisoned in a huge castle in northern england ...the story goes he was there for 15 yrs and his mental capacity got worse and worse until in a fit of anguish he cried out....the chains the chains ,and with a huge effort manged to wrap the chains binding him to the wall around his neck almost decapitating him .....he was at last free from his pain.
He was buried in the small village he grew up in and no more was thought about him until a story spread around the area where he was buried that a strange clinking and moaning sound was coming from the graveyard where he was entombed...
A young reporter decided against the judgement of the local priest to spend the night in graveyard to check if the story was true or not...the first  night nothing happened and so the reporter decided to stay a second night...grabbing his flask of coffee and sandwiches he settled down for the night to see if anything would happen ...he was almost nodding off when a muffled groan startled him and he jumped up ...he was petrified when he saw in front of him around 5 ft away a skeleton  figure dressed in a soldiers uniform groaning ..he had chains around his neck which were digging in to the remaining flesh which was falling to the ground around ...the chains the chains he cried ...the reporter started to run with zombie like corpse catching him with every step ...closer and closer ...closer and closer ...until he felt  a bony  hand on his leg as he tried to escape the hand pulled him back no matter how hard he tried to escape the hand pulled his leg ...it pulled and pulled and pulled but not as much as i am pulling your leg.

              ha..ha...ha..

The details are thin, but what we know so far is this: There is a lady from Laie named Nalani who, in some unknown freak accident, lost both her son, her lover, and so, too, her mind. Now she haunts the murky waters of the lagoon with angry arms and huge, fried black hair, like the “before” picture in a Garnier Fructis commercial. This Laie Lady hasn’t had a bath in a while, yet her nightgown is as white as a bleached sheet, and her eyes as crazy as Gary Busey’s in a bar fight. Where she comes from, why she’s so clean, and why she’s so pissed at us just for sitting on a boat is a mystery.

So, like many, I tried to interview her, but she was too skittish and paranoid to call me back for even a quick chat. At least, that’s what I tell myself about all the women who ignore my calls.

Stories of the unknown or of ghosts in the islands of Hawaii are often referred to as "Obake" or monster that can transform. Due to the Japanese influence in the Hawaiian chain, the word Obake has made its way into the 'pidgin' or broken English that is spoken throughout the islands. Traditional 'Obake' speaks of the faceless apparitions that seem to haunt the islands. Here are just a few more tales of the unknown.
Blaisdell Center on Oahu is said to be haunted by a ghost named "chop chop" and several others. According to rumors 'chop chop' had lost everything from gambling and hung himself on the west side of the building. There have been several reports of an odd smell of smoke and cigarettes.

No one knows for sure if 'chop chop' had been a smoker. Although with signs posted everywhere that the Blaisdell is a non smoking area, visitors have reported taking pictures only to have the "no smoking" signs disappear from their pictures.

Aiea High School like so many other schools was built to help teach the children. But Aiea, like Konaweana had had their share of ghostly attendance. Aiea's R building has had reports of unearthly noises and lights. Supposedly both schools were built on old grave sites were the bodies of the deceased were removed. (Or were they?)

In Konaweana, lockers have been known to open on their own. Basketballs can be heard in the Gym, even though there is no one in the locked building. Some people have seen night games playing on the foot ball field. But there is one particular thing both of these schools have in common, ghostly apparitions sighted on a regular basis.

Hauula also known as Pounder Beach is known to have a mother roaming the shore in an attempt to save her child from drowning. Many reports at this spot are that of a female voice calling out as if looking for someone. Some have even seen splashes in the water on the most still of nights. But mostly people in this area have heard the child's cry for its mother. Apparently even in death they are not united. I wouldn't go here at night if I were you; just the sound of the child's splashing in the water is enough to send chills down even the most hard core skeptic.

Barber's Point has its fare tales of haunts that are more on a friendly side. Quite a number of years back a young woman was found in her yellow "bug" vehicle. Police reports suggest fowl play. None the less the woman's spirit is said to haunt the area. Greeting the new security guards that are posted around the area. One such sighting was that of a man named "Jim".

Roughly around 11 pm. He was out and about surveying the area when he saw a yellow car in the parking lot with a woman asleep in the back seat. He tried to wake her up but to no avail. When he returned to his post to call in the incident, he was told to look again. Sure enough the car was gone.
Highway 1 on the island of Oahu is said to be the most active spot on all the islands. From sightings of children to warriors, driving a certain stretch of road alone can be quite never racking.

When the highway was first constructed, workers would often complain of giant boulders that had moved into the freshly leveled road. Some have reported seeing ancient warrior like figures standing around the road. There were also reports of equipment malfunctioning, batteries dying in the machines as well as chanting.

Since the completion of the highway, many motorists have encountered 'hitch-hikers'. One such incident was that of a woman being pulled over because her children were not properly buckled up. When the officer checked the van, he saw small childlike hand prints on the back of the window but no children. The owner of the van swears she has never had any kids. The officer also reported that just before he pulled the woman over, the children that he saw in the back waved to him.

Pali Road is a great spot to watch the sunset, but you best not stay all night. There are reports of a "tunnel" that appears in the late night hours. As to where it goes, no one is certain. One thing is true though. No one goes through it and comes back.

There are just so many different personal experiences and photos that have unusual things show up in them. But to live here in Hawaii, it is a common thing to see. Hawaii is just so rich in history that it would be odd if there wasn't anything supernatural to come out of it.
One thing is for certain, if you come to Hawaii and know where too look, any thing is possible.

One night  a woman went out for drinks with her girlfriends. She left the bar fairly late at night, got in her car and onto the deserted highway. She noticed a lone pair of headlights in her rear-view mirror, approaching at a pace just slightly quicker than hers. As the car pulled up behind her she glanced and saw the turn signal on —the car was going to pass — when suddenly it swerved back behind her, pulled up dangerously close to her tailgate and the brights flashed.
Now she was getting nervous. The lights dimmed for a moment and then the brights came back on and the car behind her surged forward. The frightened woman struggled to keep her eyes on the road and fought the urge to look at the car behind her. Finally, her exit approached but the car continued to follow, flashing the brights periodically.

Through every stoplight and turn, it followed her until she pulled into her driveway. She figured her only hope was to make a mad dash into the house and call the police. As she flew from the car, so did the driver of the car behind her — and he screamed, "Lock the door and call the police! Call 911!"

When the police arrived the horrible truth was finally revealed to the woman. The man in the car had been trying to save her. As he pulled up behind her and his headlights illuminated her car, he saw the silhouette of a man with a butcher knife rising up from the back seat to stab her, so he flashed his brights and the figure crouched back down.

The moral of the story: Always check the back seat!

Old Waialae Drive-In Theater on Waialae Avenue: This outdoor theater, which closed in the 1980s, was next to an old graveyard. For years there were stories about a faceless woman who haunted the women’s bathroom, pounding on stall doors or appearing in the mirror. According to some accounts, the figure didn’t have feet or a face.

When I was 11 years old, we moved into a new place.  I would get an uneasy feeling when the sun was setting and it became dark, but I wasn't sure why.  The door that led into the garage creaked loudly when it was opened and closed.  Strangely I began hearing it opening late at night, I would convince myself someone was getting something from the garage.  On the nights my mother would go out, I would hear the door and think she was home... but then I wouldn't hear her come in.  A few times I worked up the courage to run out just to check- nothing.  I kept telling myself it was just my imagination because I was eager to have her home.  I still kept hearing it all during the nights...
When we were moving out, I told my Mom how I had felt uneasy since we moved there.  She then decided to tell me that she found out before we moved in someone had been murdered in the house but didn't tell me because she didn't want to scare me!!  I don't think hearing the door was just my imagination...
