A woman from my town is facing animal neglect charges. Warning, the pictures are enough to make anyone break down n cry. She should be glad she's in jail right now. A lot of people in my home town are furious....

Here are some more pics from our local humane shelter. She's doing better

I have to admit i was hesitant to click on this thread because i was afraid of what i might see. I absolutely don't have the heart or strength to click on the links because to be honest i truly would break down.

There are two things in this world that are the closest thing to God and that is small children and animals. They love us unconditionally no matter how badly they are treated they look up to us with an undying loyalty and devotion. They are defenseless and only have us to care and rely on. To abuse either one is the most heinous crime anyone could commit.

I hope the woman is punished to the highest degree that the law allows.

I was afraid to click on the video but I did, I watched just a few frames and it was enough...

I totally understand, Lips. I first heard about it 2 nights ago when my daughter in law came by to show me the pic on her iphone. I said if it's a pic of an abused animal, no. I got my nerve up this morning and yeah, I did break down. But it got better cos as I was scrolling thru the humane society page, it showed a pic of her at her adoptive family's house, lounging on the bed. There were actually 2 dogs but the younger one wasn't as bad ( still bad tho) as the older one.
As of right now, she is being charged with a Class C Misdemeanor and only 15 days in jail. People are emailing the Prosecuting Attorney and asking him for a stiffer verdict.

This posted on the humane society page....

        ***UPDATE ON DAISY & KAYLEE***
They were both taken to Delta Vet for another check up and are doing great! They are gaining weight ( Daisy alone has gained almost 5lbs!)and are alot more attentive to people as well as less fearful. They are both now UTD on all appropriate vaccines as fully de wormed and will start Heart Worm Treatments as soon as they are able.

They stated that people had donated enough money for their vet bills. They also have people as far as the UK wanting to adopt!

Yes it is, Johnny. Hopefully, that will change with enough people contacting the Prosecuting Attorney.

I didn't want to click on your links but I did click on the first one.  The still picture in the video was enough for me and I just couldn't bring myself to click the play button.  This is sick torture and 15 days is definitely not enough.  They should do unto her what she did to them.

I can't even express how disgusting I think that woman is. 15 days ha! Give me 15 days with her. Those poor babies. I am so glad that they were saved and pray that they get a safe and loving home. It makes you realize how many animals are out there experiencing abuse.
