Another casino behavior observation....

Hi gang:
    Oh today at the casino, what a laugh in casino behaviors.
    This lady sat next to me, and her belief was if you literally hit every button on the machine BEFORE you hit the spin button it would somehow confuse the machine into paying you better. She would hit every button before she hit spin and it was quite a feat by the time she got to spin. Her hands were just a flying. Actually after about her third spin I already grew very tired of it, and the humor was gone as well.  Her other belief was if you continually took your players card in and out of the slot it would enhance her chances of winning. Again, I grew tired of this action as she sat next to me as well. (But I did have to laugh to myself.) One more thing...I was playing my Dean Martins Wild Party and playing MAX. ($1.50 per spin, not a great deal) She looked at me like a high roller, and was just dumbfounded as I kept playing even after I got a bonus worth $50 bucks.  "Your certainly going to cash out right?" she asked.."No" I said "I'm playing longer waiting for it to really hit." was my response. She of course was playing .30 per spin and losing incredibly fast. She watched MY game as she spun her own.  Never hardly ever taking her eyes off My machine. Caring less and less about her own.   AS I watched her I had to bite my tongue , as I wanted to educate her on some of the Myths she was taught about slot machine play.  It never ceases to amaze me what I see at the casino.

That drives me to the brink of insanity when a player hits every key. I'm so tempted to say do you really think that will trick the machine? Banging the machine too is another classic trick!



Lips

Today I hit the land casino for lunch. I spun a little and did not do very well. (Dean Martin was very cruel today) Well the lady next to me was just getting bonuses left and right.  I really was happy for her till she started commenting that my game was not very good.  The observation was of myself today. I was not a happy camper. I know it is all about the fun, but doesn't it drive any of you crazy when your doing poorly and everyone all around you are getting bonus left and right, and then they make comments like  "Look at all the money I just won!" Like I can't just gaze over and see it for myself. Like I can't hear every time that bell goes off on her machine.  Does anyone ever get a bit annoyed when this happens?  I solved my bad mood in two ways. I got up and left the losing machine, and I left that lady behind too.

I try extra hard to never look at anyone's machine let alone talk to them. I hate when other gamblers look at mine and make any comments about my game.  I feel like they are trying to take my lucky. Thats the best thing about playing online, plus theres no one waiting behind you to jump in your grave.
