Another New iPhone

Has anyone seen the new iPhone 5c? I love it! I already bought the iPhone 5 but this, this is awesome! What do you think? Are you a sucker for new technology or is a phone just a phone?

I can't wait to get my hands on one! I like the colored ones but I'm really digging the 5s w the fingerprint entry! Super cool!

A phone is just a phone, I'll stick to my Samsung for quite a while. I wouldn't pay so much money for a phone even though I am quite interested in new technology.

I'll not be buying it that's for sure - way too much money at £469 for 16gb.  I do have an iphone so I'll just upgrade to the new operating system for nothing in October.  I do like the different colours though.

I won't buy it for sure. I have my phone, it's old and it's working.... I think. I don't care about gadgets, I use only ones that I really need.

It is pretty pricey unless you can get a new contract. I like the idea of the fingerprint entry too.

I agree - the fingerprint thing is a nice touch (no pun intended).

People are becoming more inclined to purchase lower-cost phones — not just iPhones — so it’s getting harder to make a case for the more expensive model

I went from iPhone 4 to iPhone 5 and to be honest don't see a whole lot of difference. And from what i understand it bombed pretty bad as sales never hit what they had hoped for. Unless your contract is up with your cell phone provider i can't see paying $800 (or whatever it currently costs) for a new phone to have it in fancy colors. Besides who is gonna see it anyway, you throw on a new case and its hidden!

But there are many customers that flock to get the latest iPhone. I think it is more status than getting better apps and functions. I have to admit though there is no better phone especially for internet and apps. Once you have one you won't want any other brand that's  fo sho!

Well, I am not a huge iPhone fan, but never the less, every new iPhone generation made a huge impact on the mobile device market. Then again, the times have changed, and Android phones have come a long way, and I believe iPhone lost the edge. Maybe it has to do with Steve no longer being around, maybe not, but whatever the reasons are, it is far less impressive than models from one or two generations ago (in comparison to other brands and flagship models).

I use my phone about as often as I exercise - ie unless I have to. For me, it's for finding the bf when separated in the casino, calling a cab and ordering pizza - I'm in no way a phone-junkie and the newest models hold no appeal for me. That being said, I don't have a piece of crap either - I like my phone to play music and take decent pictures and have internet access, but more for convenience when required ex on the bus, waiting for a bus, in the yard. I'm good with just buying decent refurbished phones.

I have the iPhone 5 now and I know of a lot of people have updated their iPhones and are not happy. I not sure if I want upgrade. They really don't offer anything great but brighten your icons and dim the pics. Has anyone upgraded and if so thoughts?

Not upgraded yet.  Waiting to hear others opinions before doing so.

I am a sucker for new technology but of all pieces of hardware I would love to acquire, new phone is on the bottom of my priority list. Its probably cause everything other than phone that is integrated into it, I have better in some other separate device.

And there is also a matter of iphone's availability in Serbia, you just cant buy it here in any store. I would have to order it over the internet which is honestly too much mess for just one phone

I upgraded mine yesterday. It was a significant update and took over an hour to complete. The look is totally different. The icons are brighter, Face Time is a separate icon now, there's a built in flashlight, the keypad has changed and so many other little things. I like it. When it comes to technology I embrace the change and I'm already used to it.

I upgraded too.  I like most of it but I had to search on how to clear the history.  If you double tap the round button, your history appears.  To clear it, just swipe the screeny of the app upwards.

I admit that I always go for The Newer The Better, and so far, was always right. Then again, I never had an iPhone and can't say much about it. I would like to tryout the new one, but just to compare it to my Nexus4
