I kinda have an obsession with the whole Kennedy clan so i started to read e-book - Rosemary. Sister to JFK, she had a surgery that left her mentally disabled. A surgery that doctors warned her father about but he risked her well-being anyway and resulted in terrible results. Just another event in the "Kennedy Curse".

        John Grisham

        Touchdown

Not a thriller, great book about an American footbal player in Europe, well written. The very, very untypical John Grisham. For me a big nice surpise.

I recommend pretty much anything from an American writer John Fante. But my favorites are The Road to Los Angeles, and Ask the Dust.

George Orwell is a really good choice. I would also recommend "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle", my absolutely favorite book by Haruki Murakami.
