    Probably a bad marketing, business, move.  However, I understand the frustration.  Increasingly we live in societies of takers...folks wanting a benefit with someone else having to pay.

    I don't get the logic; in their words, the product isnt available anywhere else...so, er, don't you WANT people looking, getting interested, telling their friends? If it isn't anywhere else, what's the threat?

    if it IS a product in any many establishments, well, I'm damn well comparison shopping. If it is, and they're worried, they're dang well charging too much anyway and are afraid you'll look elsewhere and I wouldn't want their overpriced product anyway.

    That's terrible marketing in my view. You'd need as many people as possible coming into the store, then it's up to the staff to convince them to make a purchase, that is if you have decent prices and good merchandise to sell.

    Unique merchandise or not, if they were the last merchandise on earth I'd not shop ever again. They are giving you a clue as to how ignorant they are before you even walk in the door.  I wouldn't give my business to idiots like that. And by "my business", I mean my money! wink
