        Hi gang:
Just today I bought a couple of batteries for my smoke alarms that I knew were bad.  Then I had a thought, why not change all of them. Sure enough, I had some green lights on the smoke detectors, yet the battery was close to being dead.
It is getting to be that season again, where the heater runs and runs. Fireplaces get fired up and we huddle down into our blankets.

I love my LCB family so much...Lets be safe....

                                              Check those smoke alarms....for me......

I check with landlord, he's kind of fussy about things, but this is one thing I'd be fussy about too!

I have a terrible confession to make.........i don't have a smoke detector anywhere in my house!

I will admit i did have one a few years ago and ended up yanking the battery out of it. Every time i cooked the damn thing went off. I would have to climb on a kitchen chair to the dining room and shut it off. And as i was up on that chair.....the noise was so LOUD i thought for sure i lost some hearing!!!

I know saving my life is more important then going partially deaf or breaking a leg from standing on the kitchen chair.

Can anyone recommend a good one that isn't quite so touchy?

The best advice for a reminder when it comes to changing your batteries in the smoke detector is to change the batteries when we reset our clocks twice a year.
