I am usually with family and have a huge dinner. I make something special , weather it be the meal or dessert. The Easter Bunny always comes every year to my house and I get chocolate in some form or another. My niece is living with me and my mom so I will try and make it extra special. I hung decorated Styrofoam eggs on a tree outside today to get ready! wink

I take the kids to attend Sun Rise Service, they hate it, but I am one of these nutty parents who wants to raise my kids religiously.  Then we go to brunch, then back to church for the 11:00 service which everyone enjoys. Then home to chill out.  We keep the candy to minimum.  I am just under the conviction that Christmas and Easter, instead of being times of spirituality and renewal, have become overly commercialized and highly secular.  I really don't think Mr. Jesus recognizes either one any longer!

I went to sunrise service last year- it was a beautiful thing! It was on the beach and it was very, very cool.

You could always buy cranberry or bananna bread at a bakery if it does not have to be made by you. I did it once for a Christmas get together!
