  • I have the WIERDEST dreams ever. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes scary, and sometimes I dream about people I talk to here, laugh_out_loud.

What is the craziest dream you ever had?

    :-*

  • I had a dream of a view on the top of a cliff...there was heather in full bloom everywhere.  The sea was visible and it was a really sunny day and all my family were there.  There were these weird ridges in the cliff top, like great wide steps that went downwards towards the edge of the cliff.

I had this dream many times over many many years....until we went to the Isle of Wight on our hols one year.  We walked to a place called Allum Bay.  The walk was beautiful and part of it was on a cliff.  I looked out to sea and there was the view in my dream.  All the heather in full bloom, the cliffs, the sea, the strange steps and my family....it was exactly as I had dreamt it.

I never dreamt about this view ever again and that was my first visit to the Isle of Wight.  Spooky.

I also had a dream that my little brother and I were walking under some cliffs - they were sand cliffs and the cliffs started to collapse.  I threw myself on top of my brother to save him. All these huge lumps of sand were falling on us.  I was so scared I woke up.

I went straight downstairs and told my Mum about this awful dream.  We ate breakfast and turned on the radio.  Shortly after we turned it on, the news came on and two children had been killed whilst walking under a cliff that collapsed.  They were brother and sister.  I cried my eyes out when I heard that news.  There was no way that I could have heard that or known about it.

Scary stuff - I've never forgotten it.  It sounds unbelievable I know, but its absolutely true.

  • Whoa. That is strange how you dreamt about these things.

I had this dream about my father and I will always remember it.

I was 11 years old when my father was killed. He was shot 4 times. Anyways soon after his death I had this dream.

I was at my fathers funeral, and so was my whole family. Everyone was crying hysterically, and it was an open casket. I walked up to my dads casket and put a orange lighter in the pocket of his suit. I then went home, and my dad was there. He had faked his death! I was soooo mad that he would do this, but so relieved that he was alive at the same time.

I remember him sitting me down on the bed and asking me for a hershey's chocolate bar. I gave him some and he ate and ate and ate it. It seemed to go on like for 10 min.

I woke up shortly after that, and there was an Orange lighter on my nightstand. I know for a fact it wasn't there before I went to bed, because I was only 12 years old and I didn't smoke...sooo.

I told my grandmother about this dream, and in our family we believe that when somebody has passed away and then come to you in your dreams and ask for food, that really means they are asking for prayers.

I also had a dream that my father had a telephone in his casket and after they buried him, I could call him whenever I needed to talk to him. I dream ALOT about my daddy.

My mom on the other hand only comes to me in my dreams when she is crying. I don't know what that could mean, but in EVERY one of my dreams about her she is always crying. She took her own life when I was 19 years old. I had to take her off life support, so I have alot of trauma surronding my mother. She was a drug addict, and a prostitute when I was growing up. I just wonder if she is always crying in my dreams because she is trying to tell me she is sorry.

I don't know. I feel like I am rambling now. I am sooo sorry.

  • Ok, last night really weird dream about making a WHOLE LOT of meat loaf, maybe because I havent been able to eat solid foods for a few days, I dreamt I was making a huge amount of my famous meat loaf, I was food processing green peppers, celery, onions, parsley, mixing it in the ground beef and adding raw egg, seasonings,a little milk, ketchup, and bread crumbs. When I was done I had like 12 meat loaves and enough leftover to make 2 dozen meatloaf/hamburger patties to freeze....WHAT DA HELL?
    Tonight....mashed potatoes!! Mmmmmmm

  • ahahah Meatloaf...Ill dream of some gravy tonight to go with the mashed potatoes and meatloaf..How funny that we dreams the things we dream right? It is sooo weird.

  • Ahhhh mommy....i just read your post about your parents. Life is not always easy is it? I am sorry to read about the heartache and pain you have endured.

Sometimes when we are dealt bad hands in life it makes us better people. This is certainly the case with you. Your warmth and kindness to all members here is true indication of what a survivor you really are.

I strongly believe that dreams are a indication of what is on our subconscious mind. There has been a lot you had to sort out at a very young age. Your parents are at peace now. I hope if you have that dream again about mom you can wipe away her tears and tell her to smile and rest peacefully because she is home.

  • Dreams I hate
Trying to hit someone or run away and it like running through water. You try and try and try and you can't get away or you hit them and it does nothing.
    Zombie dreams
Dreams in which my children die
    Dreams about the devil
Dreams where you are so scared and you try to wake yourself up, but can't
Waking up when you are in the middle of an awesome dream.

    Dreams I like
    Sex dreams
    Flying dreams
Dreams about being in older times
    Good dreams about my children
  • I always have these dreams where I am super thirsty. In my dream I drink and drink and drink water. Then when I wake up I have to pee soooooo bad, and I can't help but say to myself "that's what you get for drinking all that water!" ahahah.

I remember my cousin used to sleepwalk when we were little. He would wake up and come into the living room and turn the TV off. We would turn it back on and he would come back and shut it off.

One night we were all watching TV or something, and we see that he is up. We don't think anything of it, and he walks into the kitchen. We figured he was getting something to drink. Next thing we hear is a water faucet or something leaking. My grandma goes into the kitchen and my cousin is standing there, pants around his ankles peeing on the potatos. HAHAHA. It was priceless. I will never forget that one.

I still tease him about it.

    :-*

  • Mommy, I hate to admit this, but I have had dreams about going to the toilet and, well, lets just say that I haven't always woke up in time shocked

  • I have trained myself, though, if I do start having a pee dream I wake myself up.

  • I have those pee dreams too, I have the ones that when you have to go in real life, you dream about going. You keep going and going and going LMAO

Oh been there and done that wmmeden. LMAO. I was once on this medication, I had to take it only at bedtime, and it would make me super tired. Well let's just say I was soooo out of it I couldn't even move to get up to go to the bathroom. After a couple of times, I called the Dr. and made them switch it. LMAO. My husband wasn't too happy the couple of times that it happened.

    The medicine was Seroquel.

  • Mommy, I hate to admit this, but I have had dreams about going to the toilet and, well, lets just say that I haven't always woke up in time shocked
I was a bedwetter for about a year I think as a kid,and yes I would always dream that I was sitting down on the toilet and peeing, then my senses would wake me up and I would realize to my dismay that I had just dreamed I was on the toilet,I was the only one to wet the bed and believe that children who do its because of some type of trauma,(I was molested) To this day when I actually do make it to the ladies room in the middle of the night,I have to pinch myself and make sure I am actually in the John and not dreaming I'm in the John. Its humiliating but we cant help what we do in our sleep and subconcious minds.
  • Kids are really fortunate today because they have indiscreet rubber pants to wear to bed for accidents, wish they had em when I was little, talk about humane and making the quality of life better for kids.

    Hi Blue,

I can totally relate to you and your dreams! I love to hear these kinds of dreams from people that come true like this. It really makes you wonder how it is all possible.

Like you i have had dreams that later have come true. For the most part i have learned to keep them to myself because people who have never had them don't seem to understand it. I feel like i have to spend the whole time convincing them it is true!

I also think some people are uncomfortable about hearing anything on a paranormal level. I have even had silly dreams where i dream the store is out of a certain bread and the next day i go to the store and sure enough the store is out of it! Or trains being stalled on tracks and the next day the exact train i dreamt about is stalled in the precise spot i dreamt it.

Other unusual dreams i have had is of people i don't really know that well. I once dreamt that a coworkers husband died. He was sitting in his chair and passed away in his sleep.  It was so real i woke up in a panic. I happened to look at the clock when i woke up and it was 5:15 am.

The next day i went to work and had a bad feeling about this coworker. I was afraid the dream was true. She called in and said her husband passed away that morning. When she returned to work i asked her where he was when he passed away and what time was it....

She said he passed away in his chair and the time of his death was recorded at 5:15am. I hesitated to tell her that i dreamt about it. I did tell her and she changed the subject real quick. It made her uncomfortable.

I have not had a dream come true for quite awhile. For the most part i don't remember them. I do know that when i have these kinds of dreams my mind has to be clear. If i have 100 things on my mind at once i am too clouded.

  • Wow, That is some crazy stuff, when you dream and they come true. I have had it happen a couple of times too, I don't tell anyone because like you said, they most likely won't believe you.

The craziness we dream right wink

    :-*

  • That's so spooky Lips.  Poor man and poor you to dream about it.  It must have been horrible.

I've had dreams where I've not actually remembered the dream and then something I do or see or that happens during the day, reminds me of the dream.

I have often dreamt about this massive house, it's a bit run down but it is huge and I still occasionally dream about it. The house is always the same.  I'm still wondering what or where it is and when it will come into my life, if ever.

  • I really do think that recurring dreams are something not quite settled in our lives. I use to have a recurring dream that every time someone i became close to in friendship would move far far away and i would never see them again. In the dream i would sob and sob as i watched them pack up and leave.

Once i realized why i was dreaming it the dreams stopped. I had a childhood friend who suddenly packed up and left when i was on a family vacation. When i returned  home i discovered she had left and moved far away......i was devastated.

    Lips
  • ...in my dreams, I can fly!

  • I haven't responded in this thread because mostly.. i have those recurring dreams, they scare me.. and also dreams that come true, or certain events in them do, i keep quiet.. it just scares me, especially if it is about someone i care about.. so i keep them off my mind, i do have some good dreams, which those for some reason i can't remember

I'm just afraid to analyze them, not being trained or knowing what i'm doing or understanding the depth of them..that i might tempt, alter or force them to happen, or even frighten myself further.. so when they happen i let them be (this i'm talking about is those recurring and the come true dreams)

The good and funny dreams i don't mind at all, when i can remember them lol

    ITS A DREAM DICTIONARY

    haha much fun thx
  • I also have dreamt things that have come true, or being very meaningful.  I dream in full color every night, sometimes my dreams are more exhausting than my waking life.  Before I was pregnant with my son, an image flashed in my mind of my now husband's penis (not in a sexual way lol) and a drop of blood fell from it onto my stomach.  Then the image went away, but I felt it with me for weeks.  Then I found out I was pregnant, and blood in dreams generally represents life.

You all might think I am nuts, but I am positive that my mom visits me when I am asleep.  Too many instances to list, but they are very potent experiences.  I dreamt of my friend Lori, that she came to visit me in my dream and it was so powerful, then the next day I found out she had passed.  Same thing with my grandma.  Dreams are sometimes just gibberish, and sometimes they really are very real aspects of ourselves I think.

  • I have color dreams too.

The other night my husband had a strange and scary dream. So scary that he could not go back to sleep for the rest of the night.

I had this dream about my father the other night that was kind of disturbing. He was dead and I wanted to see him. I went to the hospital, and when they opened the curtain, it wasn't my father but my daughter Brooklyn who was lying there.

She wasn't alive, and she somehow got up and started walking towards me, I felt sick when I woke up.

I wonder why we dream the things we do.

    :-*

  • Well last night I had a dream about my son who passed away. His name is Carter and he was 16months old when he passed.

In my dream, he was all grown up...I knew it was him, I don't know why, or how...

He was smiling..He didn't say anything, just smiling.

    Weird.

    :-*

  • Sounds like a very sweet peaceful dream Mommy. I didn't know  you lost a child though I remember you said you had 6 c-secs, but didn't ask how.  I'm so very sorry for your loss.

  • Yeah, it's something I haven't discussed. Carter was born in June 2004. My son was premature, 3 months early and he only weighed 2lbs 4oz. He lived until he was 18 months old, he got RSV and since he was already sick and weak, it was too rough on him.

I miss him, I know he is in a good place now, where he no longer suffers.

Thanks for your kind words toodle.

    :-*

  • That is really very sad and I know a day will never pass when you don't think about your lost child.

    I'm so sorry MommyMachine.

  • I had a dream I was at the Roulette Table in Atlantic City with all the great ladies on LCB.

  • I had a dream about my husband, I was really mad at him as he was with some other woman.  Somehow I had a knife I was trying to cut him with.  It is this long serrated knife we always used to cut birthday cakes when I was a child-it is in my kitchen now.

I couldn't seem to make my cuts work, though, except finally one little cut on his left ankle, like a scratch.  I woke up feeling pretty bad.

The next day, my husband called crying asking if he could come here a few days, he was hurting bad.  That means he's been living on the street drinking, living in the woods, and was probably sick and bitten up by bugs, maybe beat up from fighting.

When he showed up he just wanted to get into bed and sleep.  He was showing me his various bug bites and got down to one on his left ankle.
There was this thing he called a bite, that looked like a scratch, and that was identical to what my knife had done to him in my dream.  Same location, angle, length, depth...really strange.

  • Ok, so have you ever had such a good dream that you didn't want to wake up? laugh_out_loud I did last night. It was about someone whom I have never met before, but it was fun wink

I really can't remember all of the details grin

    :-*

  • Last night I dreamt I got bit on the left hand, inbetween thumb and pointer, by a rattlesnake.  I had to pull the snake off of me and kill it.  Then I tried and tried and tried to get to some antivenom-went to an emergency room, they said, no-go to the building across the street.  Went there, got the same answer.

As I was doing the building to building shuffle, I'd look at my hand.  The thumb was all turned around and my hand was turning black.  I was trying to figure out how long since I'd been bit.

I asked people everywhere for help and they didn't help.  I asked one guy in the hall if he would call 911 for an ambulance because I figured they'd get me some help.  He said no, I should call myself.  Then he looked at me and said "Do you know the number?" and laughed and laughed!!

I wanted to laugh also, but I was mad at him.  I did finally make it to the hospital, where they said it had been too long, antivenom wouldn't be of any use at this point.  And they left it at that.

My hand wasn't getting any worse, I wasn't feeling like I was dying, so though I was still wondering what to expect or how to doctor my hand, it wasn't traumatizing any longer.

I don't remember anyone ever making a joke in my dreams, and I was glad to have remembered the joke when I got up.

  • I know ALOT about Dreams even have had a Dream book for yrs. Even the Bible stories are DREAM interpretations, ie Angels came to Joseph in a Dream about Mary etc. One thing i can tell you is this DREAMS ARE NOT LITERAL!!!! Meaning, dreaming of a snake does NOT mean you will EVER see or meet one or God forbid, be bitten by one.  It does mean DECEPTION, as it always has even back in the Bible dreams, to DECEIVE ONE, someone close to you, who you TRUST is either not being true to you, talking behind your back, jealous of you, or conspiring against you, and the dream is telling you to WAKE up, literally and not trust this person or persons. Because you managed to KILL it it means your deceiver will be found out and you will turn the tables on them.  Our Dreams come to us from our Spirit Guides, our Sub Conscience, our Angels whatever you believe, whatever you want to call them. Also heed Repetitive Dreams, someone is really trying to tell you something there. Keep a pad of paper and a pen by your bedside and when you wake up write down your dreams. Also our loved ones who are departed communicate heavily with us through our dreams. Pay attention to colors, shapes, numbers etc. Up is always good down is to teach us something not really considered bad, but a life lesson. Like elevator dreams, flying etc. Also how did you feel in the dream, good or bad?
  • 30 minutes I kept thinking is how long I had to get antivenom.  The doctor at the end said since it had been like 5 hours it was too late for the antivenom to work anyway.

I felt a little scared but no sense of panic, really.  I was frustrated by nobody being helpful-not even the emergency room, or later the doctor lady...
kinda helpless but still pushing on to help myself.

Sorta sounds like my marriage to...jake...(snake...) lol...oh boy...
