There is a man on YouTube named Prince EA & he has posted several videos that question where society is heading... This is my favorite & I hope you watch it with an open mind, allowing it to permeate into your life!

Let me know what you guys think about the message, please!

Not exactly beneficial to the forum, but maybe beneficial to the planet. ENJOY!

I pretty much agree with him, today's world is getting a bit too fast and lonely for our own good. However, the situation is not as "black and white" as he paints it, the social networks do also empower people to do great things for the community.

So I'd say balance is the key.

Hmmm.... not sure if I can agree with him.

So excluding extreme cases, I don't think that an average user (person) is becoming anti-social. I think that modern technologies perhaps reflect where we are and where we are heading as a society.

People who have "isolated" themselves from all these social networks available today are not necessarily more friendly, chatty or more social then others, neither are people who are into this modern networking socially awkward.

The issue is far more complex than just "oh, we are glued to our devices so we don't have real friends anymore." and it doesn't have to do much with Facebook, whatsapp or tumblr.....

Personally, I only use Instagram (as a creative outlet), and I don't have even Facebook, but I don't think that makes me a social person.

And that girl in the video should just break up with that a***ole and stop being a victim. That's one of the typical representations with which our societies should deal.

But please don't get me wrong, there are two sides to every coin and I don't think that social networking is all great. His video is very extreme, and as Johnny said the phenomenon is more nuanced than that. But I also imagine that the song is supposed to have a shock value.
