A gambler is suing a casino for "allegedly" supplying him with booze and pills so he could continue gambling. This guy gambled 825 MILLION and ended up 127 MILLION in the hole (Paid back all but 15 MILLION) and now faces 4 felony counts in Nevada for fraud.

The link runs about 10 min or so, 4 way discussion on who is at fault.

OMG!!.. You know, in my times of drinking and gambling
they will cut you off if you have had enough to drink..
But it is up to the cocktail waitress or bartender
        that serves you who decides..
SO, in my opinion.. she/he should of cut him off..
making it partly the casinos fault or even the servers fault
at that, but i bet those tips were coming through..
        and they were making money..

We have to take classes to serve liquor and carry a TAM card
"Alcohol Awareness Cards" in those classes you are taught to
recognize who has had to much to drink and refuse more booze
amongst other things they teach you.

        So what happened here?.. MONEY!

        Hi Gene,

Thats a tough call. If the casino did push the booze then in some sense they should be liable. The rule applies at bars.........had to much.....your cut off. Drink and drive at a company party........who is responsible the company.

I think Nevada is the only state that offers free drinks while gambling. This certainly is an eye opener as to why all states don't allow free drinks.

On the other hand that is alot of money for the casino to walk away from.

The question here should really be....where the hell did he get all this money to gamble???

He "Was" a business man who was (By casino standards) a "Whale" so he didn't get his cash by picking nickels off the street.

Guess the financial melt down hit him also.

He's now in "Treatment" for the addictions...
