        Hi gang:
Ever have a ten minute trip turn into a hour because you have a tire decide to go flat?

Im heading to Dunkin Donuts today for a very needed coffee, and I get out and I hear this "ppppssssssssssttttt" noise. I know from experience what that noise was and I look down to see my tire going flat in front of my eyes.  Your stomach instantly drops.

I'm pretty handy and knew how to change it but I did get help from a couple of guys who changed it for me, bless their hearts.  I had a full size spare, thank goodness, and I was on my way.

Flat tires are a drag. I am hoping they can repair it vs having to buy a new tire.

Any stories out there where a flat tire has really ruined your day?

None that I can think of Pam (touch d) - but I do have a slow puncture on one of mine.  I have to keep pumping it up and wonder if I'd be better off just going and getting a new one.

You were fortunate those guys came along and did it for you (not that you wouldn't have managed it yourself) but it makes life so much easier for sure.

Hope you got your coffee - I bet you needed it by the time you got there.

I know of a flat tired that ruined a cheating womans day..

A neighbor many years ago, was a woman who had been cheating on her husband who worked graveyard. This man was a wonderful man and wonderful father, her on the other hand... yes all bad that can be described, couldn't even clean the house for him, nor cook his meals, not to mention the children always seemed starved for food and attention, good kids and the father can only do so much.

Well after her husband would leave "he" would drive up and park right in the driveway... he would be there just moments after he would leave right up til her husband was due home.

Someone from the neighborhood just came along and flattened 2 of his tires while it was sitting in the driveway... talk about someones day ruined... but her husband had alot of class and wasn't about to fight for something that wasn't worth it all.. i remember hearing "how low down and dirty, how scandelous can you get, i might have been a stupid fool, but from this day on i won't be"
Looking from my window her husband packed his bags and left her.

Over time.. everything about her went straight to hell.. and yes he did take the kids eventually.

Never had a day ruined by a flat tire, but one time a pair of pants bit the dust

Sometimes when we are in need of help people just appear as if it were predestined, you know what I mean?

Does anyone else feel that way?

I mean I could of done it myself, but maybe I wouldn't of been able to get the lug nuts off, as they are put on so tight by service centers, and suddenly, there are these two guys. They just stopped for a coffee, and long behold they see me out there fumbling around. I was embarrassed of course, but they made me feel better, and not so silly.

They had that tire off and the spare on in literally like 10 minutes.

Oh , by the way....Their coffee was on me.

check this out.... my wife and i had casino trip planned, the day we were to leave i was at work and i was all excited about our trip,i was thinking about getting everything ready when i started thinking about the tires on my wife's van(needed new ones) i just couldn't get those tires out of my head. So when i got home, my wife and i said to each other,at the exact same time, maybe we should take my SUV,she was worried about the van too.so we took the SUV(the old wore out p.o.s.)well the p.o.s. did just fine and we had a great time(no jackpots ( ).when we got home the next day we saw that the back driver side tire had, and i'm not kidding, EXPLODED right there in the driveway, the whole side had blown out...now that's a flat tire.
