    Anyone had a fantastic holiday that you'll always remember?

    My favourite holiday was back in the mid 90's when I took pot luck on a cheap Spanish deal and ended up in a 4 star hotel in Estapona.  OMG the hotel was magnificent, the pools were amazing, the food was never ending and the Mediterranean was just through the gate at the bottom of the hotel pool area.  From the beautiful sandy beach you could see Gibraltar.

    It was warm but not too hot and the sangria was wonderful.......sigh

    What was your favourite holiday and where was it?

    My favorite holiday was when i took a trip to my aunts house in Mississippi . Everyone was so friendly even the people i did not know and the food was unbelievable good. I ate so many homemade dishes i know i gained 20 pounds. The way the food was home grown tasted way different then store bought. I think i floated away with the pound cake laugh_out_loud i was so in heaven.

    My best holiday so far was three years ago in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The hotel wasn't great but I had a great time with my wife there, found a very quiet spot by the sea (see attached picture) and spent quite a few hours just sitting there every day, talking, admiring the view, reading... It was great.

    My favorite holiday was this year when I traveled around Lithuania and went to the capital of Latvia, Riga. I had the best possible company and I certainly won't ever forget it. I visited so many different towns, beautiful nature, I'm still happy.
