• @lipstick_xoxos I like how you're trying to guide the conversation in a way every "party" understands what the other is saying and noone gets angry. You're doing this fine, yet I stay disapproved of many things said, and I am happy most people I know don't talk this way.

My opinion, of which I am convinced is that lua is right here:

    - Also all this is different from occupy wall street which is protesting against the ones who caused the economic crisis like banks etc. Rich people who took care of a system that we also have to change. Is not about rich people in general....
Talking about "freeloaders" is actually off-topic all of the time because however strongly some of you dislike them - this phenomenom is a very little detail of the system. Populists tend to act as if it was the biggest deal on earth and reason for all misery. The protests are about totally different topics,
These people are the people we have been talking about for the last seven pages of this thread.  They need to get a clue, a job and a life.  Go figure

and this is wrong as well as polemic. Well we (having taken part in two of those demonstrations so far I allow myself to say we smiley) will have to be able to live with many being hostile towards us.

  • to try to justify the actions of the Occupy wall street movement as anything but moronic would be a far stretch.......What......EXACTLY.....is this movement planning to accomplish .....other than what it has done already by creating riots and ruining neighborhoods of those who actually work for a living........PLEASE enlighten me so i may understand the wisdom of this movement.

I'll let the person who defended it answer, I will say, here in Minnesota, the protesters wanted to build a structure to keep them warm while they protested.  They were told they could not build a structure and their materials would be confiscated if they did.

Guess what?  They built a structure and their materials were confiscated, not once but twice.  Guess what happened next?  They whined, complained and griped about it.

ETA:  I would like to know the answer myself becasue I honestly have no clue.
  • You're totally hating this movement (dabigdog and gabby) but ask me to explain what is good about it. For me this is too difficult. Really too difficult, I would try if I was great at rhetoric, but I'm not even a native English speaker. But if your questions weren't only rhetorical and you are really interested in what people can possibly like about it you can read positive newspaper comments, or articles the protesters themselves wrote in blogs, or literature of intellectuals who back this movement.  :)

  • I never said I was hating the movement.

This was my exact question:   I would like to know the answer myself because I honestly have no clue.

Wondering why you are so gung ho about the movement going on in my country when there seems to be so much you could do to help your country.

    Your quote:
No, "my" country doesn't, quite the contrary is the case. I live in Germany and if a child is born in a "lower class" familily in this country, it will likely stay that way for lifetime, the statistics are more dramatic than in some other European countries where prospects for poor kids are a little better.

    Your quote:
Well we (having taken part in two of those demonstrations so far I allow myself to say we ) will have to be able to live with many being hostile towards us.

  • as a retired military veteran,......I think the movement is MORONIC.......one or two bloggers who try to descibe what they think the movement is about does not accurately describe what it is about......please dont hide behind the "english is my second language" flag as your english is excellent.  PLEASE tell me what they want and how the movement will help them get it.  The movement is costing taxpayers millions and has had absolutely NO effect on "WALL STREET??"  what ARE THEY TALKING ABOUT???????  please help me understand

  • the people who are backing the "wall street wonders"  are far left wingers with alterior motives that are using a bunch of clowns to create their own private circus.  I think i may already understand.  go figure

  • as a retired military veteran,......

Most important sentence of this entire thread.

    Thank You for your service!
  • as a  US citizen, I would be thrilled if they had complete govt healthcare for all children under 18 and all US military vets.  I would love my tax dollars to help pay for that.  I think that the people really need to have more of a say where the monies are spent.

  • I just copy-pasted:

Occupy Wall Street is a people-powered movement that began on September 17, 2011 in Liberty Square in Manhattan’s Financial District, and has spread to over 100 cities in the United States and actions in over 1,500 cities globally. #ows is fighting back against the corrosive power of major banks and multinational corporations over the democratic process, and the role of Wall Street in creating an economic collapse that has caused the greatest recession in generations.

The aim of the demonstrations and rallies is to occupy continuously  Wall Street, the financial district of New York, to make visible and clear protest against corporate greed and perceived social inequality.

  • Hello Gang,

It has been a real long time since I posted here, but this thread is interesting. Let me tell you all my story...

I grew up the only minority in a small town that was all white. No one liked my family because my father was Puerto Rican. To that what town, we were the bottom of the barrel. For years my father worked 4 hours away because no one would give him a job. I grew up being called Spic, The N word, Porch Monkey etc.All the while if my father was home and saw someone who was broke down on the side of the road or if they lost their house to fire, what ever tragedy my father ALWAYS helped out. It pissed me off to end.

When I was 16 my father had his first major heart attack, he was in the ICU for 31 days, he almost died twice. It was then I realized how much my father changed everyone in that towns opinion of him. We had people helping out all the time, and my mother didn't drive. People would come over and take her to the hospital which was 45 minutes away. My mother would offer them some money and they would never take it, and one man told my mother, that my father was sick and he called him at 3 am to look at his furnace, my father got out of bed and spent 2 hours freezing and sick to fix his furnace and never took a cent for his work.

    continued...

  • I got my first job, at Ames department store. Worked after school and on weekends. I graduated high school at 16 and moved back to NYC to go to college. I didn't ask my parents for a penny. They couldn't afford it. I took out student loans and got another job. I worked and went to school. I never claimed my minority status. I never will.

I worked for this company for 21 years before I retired. My then boyfriend who is now my husband and I both decided we wanted a good life. We paid for everything cash, no credit. We gave up going out all the time bought our first house together. It was a "fixer upper". We paid 29 grand for it, redid the whole house ourselves from ground up. We lived there while doing this, it was not easy but we finished the house and sold it for 84 grand. We moved on to our next house, did the same thing. We were getting married while we were redoing this house and I paid for my wedding. I wouldn't let my parents pay for anything. They could afford it now. My father had a very successful gun shop and that was their money. I paid for everything, our wedding was almost 60 grand and I got a second job to pay for it.

    continued.......

  • That year we got married I had won 207,613.84 USD playing Carribean stud at the local casino. We paid the taxes on it and both decided that we would invest the money to ensure a good retirement. We didn't piss it away.

We then started working with the local charities and started giving back to our community. We now provide all the Turkeys for local food pantry for Thanksgiving and all the Hams for Christmas dinners. We deliver all the dinners for both holidays and also spend a lot of Xmas gifts for families in need. We don't regret it. It helps show our daughter that some people are not as fortunate as we are and there just might be a day when we will need help. We have so many friends who have lost everything because they were buying everything on credit and when they lost a job they couldn't afford anything. To me living beyond your means is just plain stupid. I don't feel sorry for the people who did this. I don't need a big fancy car or a big fancy home. I could afford those things and I don't have it. People always say your lucky. No we aren't lucky, just smart.

    continued....

  • The point of my story, I see Docs point 100%. Why should the ones who busted their butts to get a good life pay for someone else. It is a fair question, it just doesn't seem fair to the 1% that do have a good life. Why do I say this,we pay more in taxes than some middle class families make a year, and give whatever we can to help out those in need, but who is going to help us out when we are old and can't work? There is a good change Social Security wont be there, and with the markets going up and down who is to say we are going to have the money we planned on when we want it?

There are plenty of legit social services people receiving it. I see that, but there are alot more people abusing the system. No one can deny that. But let me tell you all something, some of the things Docs said my hurt because it is true, and many may not like it because it is the truth straight up. My hubby and I worked hard for what we have, and we do have alot. But we also made our minds up at an early age to be successful. I can claim my minority status and get free crap from the government, I chose not to. I can still work, and if I have to I will go back to work. It is the lazy SOB's that piss me off. They want me to take care of them, who the hell are they to expect that from me? Get off your lazy ass and pump gas or flip burger's. Nothing wrong with it, it is an honest living. And for the people with disabilities, get the help you need. Nothing wrong with that either. But if there is nothing wrong with you get a damn job. Don't hand me the excuse there are not because there are jobs, you just want to be paid to do nothing. That doesn't fly well with me and I have no sympathy for any lazy person.

    LH

  • well i guess im about to jump in th water and i cant swim i speak 2 different languages i ve worked all my life (3 jobs )then coming home to take careof my kids and my adopted kids.If my doctor would clear me i would work 3 jobs now but my heart is weak and this lupus is kicking my behind. That being said i do work part time and thanks to my check i can make ends meet.I agree that there are freeloaders on the system but i also think there are good decent people who didnt ask to be sick that need the extra help.i dont believe its up to us to judge. From some of the posts i get the feeling that even a person that has terminal cancer and 6 months to live should get off the death bed and go to work.Im with chilly this post makes me ill.

  • this is a fantastic topic....this topic pisses me off soooooo much.......it is a classic battle of the left versus the right.......fair versus not fair.......i deserve just because versus i deserve because i earned it.........everyone makes choices in their lives.....over and over and over.......there are many side roads a person can and perhaps should have taken over their lives..........EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS RESPONISBLE FOR THEIR OWN DESTINY............if someone has a serious condition there are ways they can get at least some help with their situation.............anyone who has a problem and says has walked into their local church and got turned away for asking for help I would doubt as a true statement.......regardless of religion or belief.  Unfortunately.......most people are dealing with the bad decisions they repeatedly made for years and want others who made better decisions to make up their poor judgement.    Many people also complain about how bad things are yet still continue to gamble away whatever money they have.....then continue to complain how tough things are........people in todays society need to learn to PRIORITIZE the importance of the things in their lives,  make good decisions and most importantly be ACCOUNTABLE for what they do with themselves.

  • Rena,

First let me say, sorry to hear your ill, girl hang in there.

There is a difference in being sick, like having lupis or cancer, and being lazy.

From you post, I can see your not lazy, and I truely hope you start feeling better. If you need anything PM me.

    LH

  • Choices is exactly what i said in the beginning of this thread.. (not counting those that are truely ill or are incapable of working, making a living or supporting their families legitimately) WHO is going to make the choice to go out there and work hard to get the things they want and need to live comfortable IF they can get it without all that? Mindless, greedy, thoughtless and LAZYness.. they'd rather sit with there perfectly healthy selves in slight poverty and collect, making up excuses for not working.. it's TOO easy, and the benefits are good. See there are jobs.. they just don't want one.

  • Im with chilly this post makes me ill.

I do agree with this 100%. Even though I had a very tough time raising my 2 kids with no help at all., I still have compassion for people that need help.

The WELFARE system is not what got this country in trouble, it was the greed from wall street and the banksters . And the people that need the WELFARE or the older people that worked all their life and now collecting social security are paying the price.

Everybody has the right to believe what they want, everybody has the right to believe that they are better because they had the ability to make it on their own. I am thankful that to this day I still can make it on my own and feel for the people that are less fortunate than I am.I'm really scared for the day when I can't anymore and rely on social security which I paid in plenty and have it cut below basic needs because of the generation that think that they know the fix to the current problem.

I'm sure that the 1 percenters  are also sad because bank of america did not charge that extra $5 debit fee because they feel that they should be entitled to it. They do not want the exec's to have to cut their bonus because now they can not screw the average joe at least that way.
Be thankful for the 99 percent that spoke up to this. Obviously, the 99 percent are seeing the bigger picture and not afraid to speak up. A high five to the 99 percenters laugh_out_loud

  • the left  versus the right..........the never ending battle of half truths and deception. maybe all 100 percent of us are morons.  go figure.

  • I will say also, shame on those execs hope they never have to go through what others have gone through, take MORE from the poor.. they need to realize it is us in the poor to middle class that supports their income (tell that to their kids).. but what goes around comes back around

  • people should get a chance ...........with strings tied.......dont support someone who is not willing to improve themselves or their situation.....pull the plug on the freeloaders and those who truly need help will APPRECIATE it and work their asses off to get out of the situation that currently holds them back. because of the abuse,  people who have worked hard their whole lives and are finally close to being financially sound dont like whole welfare distribution theme that is prevelant in todays society.  The USA needs to quit carrying all of the freeloaders both here and abroad,  let people fail and fall on their ass if that is what they deserve........so the next generation will be based on reality and not the fantasy we prescribe to now.

There use to be a  program where the people on welfare got free schooling and received benefits while doing that and actually after graduation and getting a job they would get the benefits for 1 more year to get established. What ever happen to that?

I thought that was the greatest idea.

Minimum wage in my area is $7.50 an hour. Take a single mother with 2 children working 40 hours. That is $300 a week or $1200 a month minus taxes. She will have a take home of $960 a month. Average rent is $750 a month and then she also has to pay for childcare......nothing left.

Thinking, why should she be away from her children when on welfare she will get housing, help with utilities and foodstamps.

Something is wrong with our system. I think, help to get people to feed themselves by providing education and support them while doing that.
  • Days far gone of the family with 2 parents raising the children, the father works and the mother stays home.. the welfare system was way montiored back then, you couldn't even own an iron and you were deducted of it's worth, they had house visits to make sure you had nothing of value, bank accounts and cars were monitored, FS was limited to certain foods.. it gave people no "choice" but to go out and find work.. and they did.. those ARE the people of today who became successful..

if your going to quote my post quote it all and now if its ok with u guys im bowing out i uinderstand theres strong opinions here and i have said my piece i see both sides its not going to change anytime soon im afraid i was just speaking from my view and not the view of the freeloaders out there.I do think Chilly was speaking on the part of her being sick and yes closed minded views do make me ill.Now if i can leave yall to your comm4ents i would appreciate it and thanks for letting me share

  • it was also an southpark episode last week called 1%

  • LHofsdal.....you are so right!  When I see the OWS protests, I see an "entitlement generation" wanting a lot of "something for nothing."  And, they simply want the 1% to fork it over.

If you listen to what the protestors are saying, the majority of it is anger that some people have more than they do.  There is plenty of economic jealousy within this movement.

  • gloria allred..........someone please help me understand this toolbag.  at what point in life should you at least admit that you have sold your soul to the highest bidder.  how can someone be so vile and pretend to be so pure.  someone please help me.

  • since we are griping about having to pay for something for other people's benefits, more than 1/2 of my property taxes go to the darn school district I live in.  Now, I'm all for education, and it was my profession.  But I don't have any kids in the district, am not going to, and though there are some benefits of the school district like community education that may be available, I can't get to them.  So why am I in threat of losing my home for back taxes when most of my taxes are going to support other people's kids?

Well, I know the reason...I am a citizen, and we SHARE responsibilities, good and bad, left and right.  All of us, fat, ugly, rich, poor, sick, athletic, empowered or anxious, vile or pure, we all share responsibilities for each other, like it or not.  At least we do here in my country/state/county...

  • I found this about 1% interesting

    http://www.vanityfair.com/society/features/2011/05/top-one-percent-201105

  • Keep in mind...

Henry Ford was in the 99%, invented the car at his house after work, became the 1% and created jobs.

Bill Gates was in the 99%, dropped out of college, developed MicroSoft, became the 1% and created jobs.

Steve Jobs was in the 99%, dropped out of college, developed Apple, became the 1% and created jobs.

    So forth, and so on...

While we can point to a few bad bankers, margin traders and hedge fund operators who are stuffed full of greed, the 1% are the job creators in America.

  • That is true Doc. I will tell you Chilly, I pay taxes too, and I pay alot of taxes, and I have not admit most of the time I do get pissed off when my taxes go up. Not because my taxes are going to help people but because I am not getting anything for my increase in taxes.

I know what is like to be sick, I have had breast cancer twice now and I am only 41, soon to be 42. Even though I was sick, I got up everyday and went to work. The last time was pretty rough, but I didn't ask for anything for free. I paid my own doctor bills. I have no problem helping anyone out. When I first became a member here, someone here had a problem with the elctrical wiring in their house, just before christmas. She could not afford both, fixing the wiring and christmas. I sent her money to help with christmas. I didn't want her kids to go without. She never asked and I insisted she take the money. We became friends eventhough we never met. Still have never met.

It is not my job to to take care of everyone in my town, county, state and country. If people would get off their lazy butts and take a not so glamours job, this country would be in better shape. It is the lazy people that are the ones who are getting a free ride. Hell they get free everything, and I had to work my butt off to get where I am today. Tell me that is fair to me?

That's one thing I am now seeing. When I started with my company, we had janitors of hispanic descent. Now we have 3 janitors (Rotating) who are white and working.

I'll admit, I am paid ($9.75 per hour and I am happy...Why? I don't NEED a nice new car, I don't NEED a 45" (Or bigger) tv set. I don't NEED a $2,500 computer....I get along with what I have. Sure my roomie is one of those "Gotta have a bigger one" (Right now he's outside installing a bigger hottub...Nuts!) I do fear for him as when the crap hits the fan (If the economy goes south) he'll hurt alot worse then I will.

BUt at my job, we have gone through so many temps who simply wouldn't listen to the lead and how they needed to do their jobs. They acted like they were doing us a favor by even showing up and this goes for some of the perm employees also!

Attitude, it boils down to their attitudes regarding work and how they can best fit it and not the other way around.

Oh, BTW did you know that 25% of the top wage earners pay 85% of the taxes?
  • LHofsdal...you are so right!

I pay 35% federal tax.  5.5% state tax.  And about $4000 a year in local taxes.  I also pay the business portion for my employees.  So, over 40% of what I earn in the free market gets handed over to a government entity.

So....it is outrageous to hear the OWS people wanting more benefits that raises taxes further.  We have a large class of people in the USA who are addicted to government benefits and handouts.

  • Exactly LH. We do need to care for those in our country who CANNOT care for themselves,  but just being lazy isn't a disability or a  privilage. Neither is being stupid, because if it were, there would alot more people collecting money.

I hear ya Doc!! I get so sick of hearing "Tax the rich and feed the poor". I don't have a problem with people asking for help during hard times. I have a problem with people asking for help when they have not even tried to help themselves.

We pay over 40% in taxes too, and to be quite frank, it pisses me off. I will never get use to the fact that I have to be taxed at a higher rate because my husband and I were not lazy, I didn't get pregnant every other year to get  more money. It is so bad here where I live in NY, that the section 8 housing complex is under fire because most of those apartment have (get this) LARGE FLAT SCREEN TV'S!! Some of them  are purposely displayed in the windows so everyone can see it. And not only that, but most of the vehicles in the parking lots are SUV's, not the cross overs, we are talking Lincoln's, Caddy's. I drive a Grand Am. I can afford a Lincoln, I don't have one. So why the hell should I be paying higher taxes to help the poor ride around in a car more expensive than mine, and be living the glamours life?

    LH
  • LHofsdal.. i truely feel what you are saying and i see it with my own eyes in the business i'm in, inside i get angry, frustrated, and sadden and sometimes sicken..

There was this couple that came injust the other day while this thread was going on.., the man was dressed in.. it had to of been some type of Italian designer made suit very nice you could tell it was very expensive, dressed toa T probably in the range of 400 to 800 right down to alligator skinned stcey adam style shoes, the lady was the same.. a dress looking too expensive to even breathe on, shoes too and of course im seeing a gucci handbag, something i only dream of purchasing..gold and diamond jewelry galore.. they bought 2 perrier waters, 2 apples and 2 triple layer chocolate cakes, 1 lousiana cake and a box of specialty cookies.. and guess what that man pulled out his venetian leather wallet and swiped.. yes a foodstamp card the balance reads right on to the reciept 1200.00.. they commented that they had to bring something for faculity after mass for his church.. please forgive me for saying, but i felt a little sick it was hard to smile and say, thank you have a nice day.. and i couldn't help to wonder what % are they?

  • ^^^ frown >:( frown ^^^

I think all of us who are getting frustrated at freeloaders are talking about THOSE kind of people.

  • I still don't know what relationship do you see between occupy wallstreet and the "freeloaders" abusing the system, food stamps... etc. Can someone explain?

  • LOL  how is that occupy wall street movement doing these days....very impressive id say......truly a fantastic group of fine citizens.....i think the relationship is blurred......perhaps people think freeloaders are lazy dumbasses and also the wall street crowd is a bunch of lazy morons....so the connection may be in the fact that neither group of people does anything productive for themselves or society......the bottom line is they all WANT SOMETHING without earning it......  i hope this clears it up a little and be careful not to get any teargas overspray on you the next time you are having fun at the protests

  • OWS....what a bunch of duds!  While wining for free everything, they have been shooting, raping, littering, vandalizing, and stealing.

Folks, this is what happens when parents raise kids to be 40 years old who still live at home and play Xbox all day.

  • You know it is funny, I get told by friends and family that my daughter is very spoiled. I admit she is, why shouldn't she be, she is my only child and I make sure she has a good life. The big difference is, she knows I am the parent. She tests the waters sometimes and I admit I smack her poop and put her in the corner. I tell her quite often, I make the rules not her.

She gets complimented all the time for being respectful and well behaved when we are in public, at home is another story lol. She does have a Nintendo Wii that she absolutely loves, but that is a privilege, that needs to be earned. She gets time to play when she brings home good grades, keeps her room clean etc. Just like TV, again that is something that is earned. Now video games are not cheap, and it pisses me off to end when people on the system are buying the new release games. Do you know how much food 50 bucks can buy? So they buy this game and towards the end of the month they are asking to borrow money to buy food, this has happened to me. You know what I said, and this is exactly how I said it with an angry tone....."You SOB, you have the nerve to come here and brag how you son and hubby bought that new Xbox game 2 weeks ago for 50 bucks, telling me how all they do is play that damn thing, 2 weeks later your asking me for money. Don't you think I give you enough already, You get free health care, free food, and everything else. Tell you lazy SOB of a husband to put down that damn game controller and get a f'n job. If you wont tell him I will. Now get the hell out, don't come back, I don't like the fact your asking me for money, and feel no embarrassment."

  • That happened last week. Yesterday I was shopping in Target getting some Xmas items for my daughter. My friend Carmen sees me comes over and we are chatting when she tells me that she heard I went of on Michelle about being on the system and needed money for food because she was broke. I asked Carmen if she knew why she was broke, Carmen was like because of Thanksgiving. I laughed and said yeah right, ask her how many video games they got this month. That is why she is broke. Carmen was shocked that I said it, and I told her, point blank, I have no respect for lazy people, and I don't under stand why 1100 dollars in food stamps isn't enough to feed 3 people for a month. I don't even spend that much on groceries a month and I am not on the system. Carmen turned White as a ghost. She said, Lori, your telling me she gets 1100 in food stamps, I know she pays 68 dollars a month for rent, and HEAP helps pay the electric and gas bill, plus what ever they get from unemployment and she was asking for 100 bucks for food? I said "Yep, and that pissed me off to no end. Told her to get out my house and not come back." Carmen was like, I feel like such an idiot, I gave her 100 bucks this morning." She will never get that money back.

You see this story tells alot, you can spoil your kids if you can afford it and they can still be very polite and courteous. You can give freeloaders everything and they still want more. And yes, you guessed it, I am not going to be the one to give anymore, I give enough already. So if your lazy SOB husband starves to bad, take the video games and system and pawn them if he wants to eat. Or do the something totally responsible GET A DAMN JOB!!!!

  • THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!!  THANKS FOR THE STORY LH

  • This is the "Entitlement Generation" taking to the streets!  While they are talking on their Iphones, hoping Mommy sends their allowance, refusing to take $10 an hour jobs, they are demanding the 1 percent...those who took risks, worked hard, worked smart...fork over the money.

OWS is really the biggest display of greed in quite a while.  "We want something for nothing" is really their theme and anthem.

  • I consider myself a part of the "Entitlement generation"... I am entitled to everything I have that I worked for, I am entitled to have a good life because I have worked for it, I am entitled to spoil my kid rotten because I can, and most of all I AM ENTITLED TO GET PISSED OFF AT ANY LAZY SOB FOR TAKING MY TAXES AND LIVING OFF THE SYSTEM AND HAVING THE SAME GOOD LIFE THAT i WORKED MY BUTT OFF!!!!

Yep, that is me the entitled one!! lol

  • I couldn't disagree more with you about OWS. I think you are just seeing them as lazy people that don't want to work and take advantage of the system when they just want the government to change the game rules so banks and greedy assholes don't mess around with a country. Super lazy people who take advantage of food stamps, etc won't go to spend one night sleeping in a park they are too lazy to do that and the system is working OK for them.

You could same I'm a lazy bitch that wants everything handled to her but not the case. I have a disabled mother, thanks to government money I could go to college and I even have a masters degree, still I'm unemployed, there are no jobs in my country (60% unemployment rate in people under 30, someone has to have done something wrong with the country if it's like that and still some of the bankers who won't give credit to people have money$$$$$ bonuses).  I could flip burgers, believe me I apply for that too but they tell me I'm overqualified for that so they won't hire me, I've been an intern 5 times for less than 300 euros a month working full time. Now honestly tell me that we live in a flawless system and I don't work because I'm too lazy and I only want to play videogames (sorry, I don't have an iphone but if I were to buy it I would still pay taxes for it). I still live with my mom (thanks to the government money because she can't work) and if I could I would move out and live my life like a normal 26 year old but no job no rent. The funny thing is that most of my friends are in similar situations, we all have gone to college to study different things but same result.

So yes I'm lazy, too lazy that I go to the street and protest in the 15M movement that is full of lazy people like me.

  • i have also heard in the media that no matter what the scenario, no matter what the situation......some people will always spin the story to try to get everyones sympathy attention flag waving..........these OWS people HAVE NO DEFINED POSITION.....thus, hence , therefore.....CANT GAIN ANYTHING BY DESTROYING PROPERTY AND RUINING OTHER PEOPLES BUSINESSES.....THEY HAVE NO POINT!! WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT IS THE PLAN????????

  • ALSO, everyone says.....i have tried to get a job flipping burgers.....all i can say is you need to try harder.....go talk to the manager,... responsible, well mannered people who truly want a job will be hired on the spot if they REALLY TRY.  If the only reason you keep getting turned down is "YOUR OVERQUALIFIED"  then you probably need to figure out the real reason because managers oftenly use that phrase as an extremely easy out when not hiring an individual.  Prove your positive demeanor and worth in the interview and you will be hired on the spot!

  • What bugs me is the FWB types. Many times I have seen a female with 2-3 kids, and then her card is declined (EBT) Then the "Friend" shells out cash to  pay One time while watching the guy must have had $700 in cash in his wallet, but they're shafting the taxpayers playing this game.
