She stands almost 3 feet high and when totally stretched out she is the full length of the loveseat.

Awww isn't she precious. I too rescued a Lab, Gunny. Hubby found him at the river in the dead of winter. They are one of the sweetest breeds of dogs.

That picture is precious.  Lottie is my 4th lab Ive had in my life.  I would never get a different breed again.  I am still trying to get use to her coming up from behind the couch to give me kisses.

Those are some pretty dogs guys. I like dogs but i think a dog needs an adequate sized yard to be in.. and i tend to live in apartments. And the few houses i have lived in the yards were too small for the dog i like which is an Alaskan Malamut , i had one before that died rather young Rozz i called him .

Thank you Tim. I had to google the Alaskan Malamut. They are beautiful dogs. But then, I think every dog is, even the ones that snarl at me lol. Just an animal lover here, no matter what it is. Doesn't mean I want one of everything. I just feel sorry for them all.

Yes Eyes , what makes me sad is the abuse of these animals and those stories ya hear of them. It really is also sad that many owners treat their pets as possessions rather than companions.

Beautiful photo's of your dogs, both gunny and eyes!

To rescue a dog from the dead of winter leaves a special place in Heaven for you.

Makes me miss my Shephard (Chloe) and Keeshound (Chanel)

Not sure if you've seen it, the commercial on tv about abused animals. The first time I noticed it, the first abused animal it showed, I turned my head. I still turn my head every time I know it's on. I can't handle seeing anything suffer.

They play that commercial all the time.  As soon as the music starts, I turn my head too.  It's a good message but too sad for me to watch over and over.
