LCB Reaches Over 50,000 Members!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations!!  You have the best board I've ever been a member of.  I've been a member of dozens over the last decade+ and even ran a couple myself (not for long, I can assure you!), and this board outdoes them all.

Your positve management style here and constant monitoring to ensure that, make this a very pleasant board to come to everyday!  Your moderators are exceptional, bar none.

That is a great milestone to reach! LCB is the BEST! Now if we can get these guys to sign up too... Guests 2,424... Wow, while I was typing this, new members went from 44 to 45 just like that and guests went from 2424 to 2425! We ain't done yet!!!!

A little inside information :

up to this moment, and ever since LCB was founded, we had a total of 75,967 registered forum members.

Now you may ask how come it's only 50,000+ now?

Its very simple, we try to keep our member database up to date, so what we do is delete old and dormant accounts. Also add to this number a smaller portion of spammers and multiple accounts.

This is why the Total Members stats can vary at times ( i.e. be less than it was earlier that day )

Dormant accounts are those members that havent been active in a long time ( usually 1-2yrs old ).
We have a forum service where it automatically sends a welcoming invite/reminder in case member hasnt been active in a long time. If they still remain inactive it is only fair to assume they no longer wish to be part of our community, and thats when their membership gets canceled.

However we can easily re-establish their account per their request.

Dormant accounts are usually ( in over 99% cases ) those users that registered that specific day and never to return.

I love this forum and this is a huge milestone but come on guys .. where are YOU? really only a handful of us post here ! speak up !

We get a lot of lurkers, searching for bonuses, exclusives or just reading about player experience without ever leaving a comment.

I guess it is the nature of the beast ( gambling ) so to speak, where a lot of ppl just come for the info, get what they want and dont get involved.

Don't get me wrong thats totally legit, and why we have the forum in the first place, but it would definitely be nice to see more posters.

This is why we always try to engage both old and new members, with contests etc, attract more posts and also give something back.

We also have a new idea , on how to reward our faithful membership and reward them for their activity.

We are soon to put things in motion and start developing a reward system, which will earn you points which later on you can redeem for various prizes at LCB shop.

I won't discuss it now in length as it's far from being realized atm, and it would take few months of developing. However I can disclose that it will be pretty cool, and as long as you are earning points you'll be able to redeem prizes.

We will also make sure that all your previous activity ( posts etc ) count, so you would already have a head start.

That's the great idea for keeping the posters and attract new ones, which would be really great to have more people involved. The point is that we all can help each other with the experiences and good advises and if a reward comes along, that's always a bonus.

I love rewards!!! Hope you can implement more on this reward system for members of the forum....
