Locked himself out

A video of a naked man who managed to lock himself out of his hotel room has gone viral on the internet.

I guess he finished his dinner and wanted to put plates in the hall, but the door closed behind him. He walked down the hallway to get to the reception.

He explained what happened but the receptionist asked him "Do you have any ID?... I just need to see your driver's license."

At the end he replies: "How can I have a driver's license if I'm naked, man?"

The video has attracted almost a million hits in less than a week on YouTube. Some users have speculated that the clip is a stunt.

Very funny but surely I wouldn't like that to happen to me.

Hmm I don't think it's staged but I do think the clerk at the reception is a bit of an idiot asking for ID. 

I have to agree with Lucky, it looks staged. Just the way he looked at the door after it locked, stepped back. It's like he's thinking "okay did the camera pick up on how surprised I am that the door locked behind me". Why wouldn't he just slide the tray outside the door. Anyway, it's still funny to see.

I have locked myself out of hotel rooms quite a few times but fortunately I had some clothes on every time

As for the video, it could well be staged but it's still fairly funny.

I don't know if it was staged or not. he didn't seem real upset about the door closing. if it was me as soon as I heard the door clicked closed I would of panic. and who eats dinner naked anyways...lol. still funny. thanks

silly stuff, a little hokey, but still amusing!

I know it is not funny when it happens to you but omg i didn't know whether to laugh hysterically or cry for the guy!. Seems like this sort of thing would happen quite a bit when you think about it. Wonder why he didn't just ask someone in the hall to got down to the lobby for him.
