I am posting this because I made a statement about a place I play at, GO Casino, because an incident happened and I was a monkey see monkey do....and I had to apoligize and retract my statement. I thought that my money had been taken and I receive it back about an hour ago. I ranted and raved because I have seen the negative about GO Casino. I know some folks have had their issues and I know that at first I didnt like the place...I was like the monkey (I am not saying that everyone is a monkey) but what happened to others didnt happen to me and for those who have had negative experience please let them know because I did and now I had to humble myself.....I am human, I am not a monkey, I made a mistake...(I am not perfect like I thought)
and I have had a great experience with GO Casino and I hope the morale picks up..as for me, I admitted I was wrong and today I will sleep better...thats my take on it...I feel great today.
The following is a story I saw on the internet that I am sharing with you all:
i]
The monkey will not let go. Whether it be bananas, beans, rice or whatever other trap is in place. If the monkey would ‘let go’ the monkey would be free.[/i
We are trapped by our greed. We are trapped by our pride. We are trapped by our wanting to be right. We are trapped by our own misconceptions, beliefs, paradigms and learned helplessness.
You know it’s time to let go when you become extremely attached to whatever you’re holding onto. You know it’s time to let go when whatever you’re holding onto has a story that you created so that others will agree with you why it is so important to hold onto your “rice.”
Let go of the hate. Let go of the grudge. Let go of being right. Let go of pride. Let go of the past. Let go and live.Whatever is holding you back today will kill you. It will drain you. It will destroy you. It will hurt you and you will hurt others in the process
Back to the monkey…even when hunters came to get the monkey the monkey would not let go. The monkey would rather have his arm cut off. He would rather be put in a cage, get shot or get beat rather than let go of his “rice.”
Will you let go of your old habits? Will you let go of misconceptions? Will you let go of your pride?
If you’re unwilling to open your hand and let go you’re as good as dead and the life you live is much less than it could be if you would be willing to let go.
Letting go is as easy as admitting that you were wrong.
Letting go is as easy as talking to the friend or family member that you felt wronged you and asking them for forgiveness.
Letting go is as easy as choosing to adopt a new way of thinking.
Letting go is as easy as opening your eyes and challenging what you deem to be true.
Letting go is as easy as saying I’m sorry or Will you forgive me?
Letting go is as easy as saying “I let go now.”
Stop the victim story. Stop the ‘wo is me’ story. Stop the whining. Stop the complaining. Stop the justification. Stop the rationalization.
Let go and start living.
