  • Who do you think will win the oscar 2016 for the best movie and witch is your favorite movie?

    These are the nominees:
    1."The Big Short"
    2. "Bridge of Spies"
    3. "Brooklyn"
    4."Mad Max: Fury Road"
    5. "The Martian"
    6."The Revenant"
    7. "Room"
    8. "Spotlight"

  • The Revenant. And Leonardo Dicaprio i hope  smiley

  • lol I have not seen any of those movies guess I will see if any of them are still on demand... thank you

  • I will say The Revenant , or Martinian but more immportant thing for me is , will Dicaprio finaly win that Oscar , i mean he is such a good actor and he vrly deserve it cheesy .... i wish him to won this year

  • The Revenant. And Leonardo Dicaprio i hope  smiley

The story of this movie was nice, but the movie was a little bit unreal
  • I think it will be The Revenant. Judging by the Golden Globes results, for example, but I haven't seen it yet. Also I'm planning to see the Martian, I think it could be a great movie, but my hope would be that The Room or the Martian would win.

  • I will hope Leonardo dicaprio, and  and the Best Foreign Language Film will be the son of Saul.

  • I don't know.... I've been wrong every time I tried to predict a winner. This year would be cool if "Mad Max: Fury Road" is the winner. smiley

  • The Revenant!!
Hope DiCaprio finally gets it!!) <3

  • I hope for The Revenant and Leonardo DiCaprio too because he is way behind when it comes to Oscars and he deserves one for sure. I have seen him losing to many time, this is not acceptable.

And I love to make bets on the winnings because this is fun but the bookes are very good and they know for sure who whould win. So, look at the bookies. I don't know how they do this, if they ask the people for the vote or something like that but the bookies are very good at predictioning the Oscars in my experience.

  • I am Mad Max-fan, so I go for "Mad Max: Fury Road" smiley

  • I have only watched "Brigde of Spies", decent movie but wouldn't deserve an Oscar if you ask me. I hope I'll get to watch some of the others soon.

  • I always am surprised at what movie wins. It's hardly ever the movie I think should win. I agree and really hope Leonardo DiCaprio wins one. In my opinion, he's way overdue.  wink
  • my vote goes to The Revenant

  • revenant- BUT! cheesy  leo  dont get oscar, i will be happy if they give him, but i dont think for that role...but tom brady was really awsome, and he was totaly surprise for me, and he get oscar for that role! i am sure

  • I wish Black Mass and Johnny Depp had been nominated , it was a really intense movie and very realistic

  • mad max:fury road. it would be crazy if mad max won.

  • I haven't seen any of these films,so I have no clue!!! I REALLY need to get out more!!! laugh_out_loud

  • I think The Big Short deserves the Oscar for best movie, it's my favorite.
Maybe that Leonardo Di Caprio finally win an Oscar  wink

  • I vote for "The Revenant". Give that man an Oscar! The bear should be nominated for "Best supporting actor".
Haven't seen all of the nominated movies, but I'm all in for Leo. I did see "Spotlight", good story line, but too static and slow for my taste.

  •               Haven't  seen  The Revenant yet but Leo  in my opinion is long overdue  for an Oscar.    The only thing is,  the longer it drags out  (to win)  makes you wonder are they actually voting because you deserve it or are they doing it  for other reasons.  Anyway,  I guess this is about best picture.    I  loved Mad Max and think it's cool that it was nominated  but to tell you the truth,  I liked the 1979  version with Mel Gibson  better.

  • I haven't seen any of these films,so I have no clue!!! I REALLY need to get out more!!! laugh_out_loud

I am in the same boat. Some friends rattled off a list of movies and I just drew a blank.  There should be a season for movies, not movies year round.
  • At least Leo won  party "Spotlight" is still meh in my opinion...

  • Not seen all noms but was really impressed with Mad Max. Not even seen the old Mad Max films so went in an open mind. Well done to whoever made it

  • I have seen old Mad Max's all three when Mel Gibson was Max Rockatansky so my choice is Mad Max :Fury Road  kiss

  • Well, I haven't seen any of them. I'm way more interested in German, Scandinavian, English, Spanish, Italian and French movies. American films are always the same and are just designed to make money. For us, cinema is Art, not industry.

As wikipedia puts it: "France is also one of the few countries where non-American productions have the biggest share: American films only represented 47.7% of total admissions in 2010. This is largely due to the commercial strength of domestic productions, which accounted for 40% of admissions in 2011 (35.7% in 2010; 45.4% in 2008). Also, the French film industry is closer to being entirely self-sufficient than any other country in Europe, recovering around 80–90% of costs from revenues generated in the domestic market alone."

That's why we can pride ourselves with our "exception culturelle"  wink

  • No doubt the revenant! DiCaprio starred as a real Oscar and no one in his place would be able to do better .. there is no doubt about itcool
