    Hiya Guys and Dolls,

    It is the first day of summer for many of us and now the outdoor fun has just begun! Time to get the kegs of beer on ice, fire up the barbie and let the good times roll.

    I love the summer because that is when all the flowers are in bloom, ya can get a nice tan going and ya can sit in the yard just counting the stars at night and dream about lassoing the moon for ya!

    Does it feel like summer where you live or is the weather really wacky?

    Wacky here.

    It's been raining and chilly.  Last week we had 104 temp.  

    I have planted a lot of bushes, all my flowers and veggie garden. smiley  Love that!!

    I thought....great... time for a summer break. Wrong!

    Son#1 has speed and strength from 8-10am followed by basketball camp from 10-11am.  Throw in baseball, game went until11pm last nite and... I'm pooped.

    Son#2 has basketball camp for 7 hours a day plus baseball.

    Daughter:  She's 20 so she's on her own. laugh_out_loud

    I need a tan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

    1st day of summer and 105 degrees...  sad I'm a redhead so I don't get tan, just red, then when the blisters from the sunburn go away I am white again but with extra freckles. IMHO air conditioning is the greatest invention of all time!

    I envy those with nice warm weather and an actual summer. It feels like November here. So cold and rainy. I made soup for dinner the other night. I have never done that in the summer. Not happy right now  :'(

    I'm wondering when summer will actually arrive.  I even put the central heating on the other night it was so cold!

    Same here Froggy, Blueday (I hope the weather improves).

    It's 100 degrees here in Duncanville, Texas, so the air conditioning is definately on high blast.

      AWWWWW froggy and blue.. take heart dear ones,it's about 70 and rainy here in Chicagoland area...grrrrr.I'm sure it will improve here and in England too.I guess we'll just have to let mother nature do her thing,even tho some days I'd like to give her the day off and take her place!!!LOL

    Well if it is any consolation froggy Chicago got hit with major storms and knocked out power for over 400,000 residents. There was also 2 tornado touch downs.

    The states have been hit with such really hard pressed weather lately. I heard North Dakota residents had to evacuate due to the river over flow. Some water was climbing a high as half way up residents homes.

    And with Alabama seeing one of the worst tornadoes in history and the devastation in Missouri i think the weather has been devastating.

    My heart goes out to all those in ND. Just goes to show you can't mess with Mother Nature.

    Rena, of course it is still raining in Georgia!  laugh_out_loud When I was driving truck it did not matter what time of year I went to Georgia it rained on me!  grin  Except that day floating on the chattahoochee when I got terribly sunburned on the top of my feet... ouch... and of course if it does stop raining you can't tell because the humidity keeps you wet!  wink
