One day i had a craving for a Bologna Sanwich, so i grabbed 2 slices of bread, got out some lettuce, sliced some tomato, a slice of bologna, the dressing for my bread and assembled my bologna sandwich. I sliced it diagnal and placed it on a paper plate... mmm mmmm. I got this thought as i glanced at it, what does it really take to have a bologna sandwich...
I started with.. the bread.. we need a baker to bake the bread, he needed the flour to make the bread, flour needs wheat.. so someone grew the wheat...the wheat had to be milled.. so someone ran the mill..
Members im asking.. Whats does it take to have a bologna Sandwich..?

OMG! I thought me and my whacky sister were the only ones who did that, potato chips are good on some sandwiches, extra crunchy, more texture.
dinosaurs had to die to make crude oil to make the tires and to power to truck's engine.........hey have you ever added plain ripple potato chips in a bolonga sandwich. i thought a friend of mine was crazy but it actually tastes good.

The Mayo...oh boy. Well, it needs an egg, that came from a hen that laid it. Then, well, I dont know...what exactly is mayonaise made out of?
Oil of some kind in there tyesmommy - like olive oil or vegetable oil or something.
"Well, it needs an egg, that came from a hen that laid it."
And where did the hen come from......that awful question of "what came first - the chicken or the egg"
Can somebody please tell me what Bologna is?
Thanks

Imagin, I dont know what Bologna is. Never heard of it.

Bologna In general, bologna is constitutionally much the same as hot dogs, although larger and sliced.
Beef Bologna This is an all beef version, it is usually more of a red color than its mixed-meat counterpart.
Kosher or Halal Bologna Typically made with only beef, but sometimes made from turkey or lamb.
German Bologna Also known as Garlic Bologna, this sausage is typically distinguished by adding garlic to the recipe. Despite the name, bologna in Germany – where it is very common and known as Fleischwurst or, for better varieties, Lyoner ("Lyon sausage") – does not usually contain a noticeable amount of garlic.
Lebanon Bologna Named for Lebanon County, this is the Pennsylvania Dutch variety of the sausage. Distinguished by its smokey taste and dark, coarse appearance, this is one of the more extreme flavors of bologna.
Bologna is the "quintessential" American sandwich, most of us grew up with them for lunch, its just a coldcut that we slap on some bread, as for the sandwich, there was this Earl who liked playing cards and didnt want to stop... oh dear I'm getting carried away here, sorry

someone needed to pave the roads so the truck can drive along with it's rubber tires, paved roads need gravel... and how about the person who tailored the bakers uniform, he didn't bake bread naked or did he? ???
i love potato chips on my bologna sandwich esp bbq ones!
Yes blue it is a luncheon meat, sliced, made usually with a mix of pork and beef, i don't eat pork so i always get beef bologna, anywhere theres pork i substitute in someway with beef or something else -

blue, even those of us who have had, aren't sure what it is, and we probably don't want to know...kinda like hot dogs, never spend too much time reading the ingredients...any time you see the words "mechanically separated"...(insert animal here..."chicken pork, beef") avert your gaze...

Mustard is made by mustard seeds, from a mustard plant. Im not sure what climate they grow in or how hard it is to cultivate them. But someone also had to tend to them inorder to make mustard. There must be mustard farms...yes?
--->Mustards are several plant species in the genera Brassica and Sinapis whose small mustard seeds are used as a spice and, by grinding and mixing them with water, vinegar or other liquids, are turned into the condiment known as mustard. The seeds are also pressed to make mustard oil, and the edible leaves can be eaten as mustard greens. Info. to cultivate...->www.newton.dep.anl.gov/natbltn/200-299/nb228.htm

If it wasn't for tyesmommy posting about the eggs for mayo, i wouldn't of asked what is mustard made with for her to explain about the mustard seeds and plants, to have wnanhee post a beautiful picture of the mustard fields
