Trying to give up pop

And I gotta tell you it is so hard.  I work night so I need the caffeine but not the sugar.  I have gone to only water and coffee with half and half.  I guess as long as I have my coffee I won't hurt anyone

This is me before the withdrawals kick in LMAO. Im sure I won't be smiling for long

Thanks blue, beautiful words from a beautiful lady.  You have always been kind. This is actually a hard thing for me. I never drink water and I hate it.

Good luck with that I have to kick smoking someday.. but not anytime soon, I guess. I'm not ready for a challenge like that yet 

By the way - I was curious and looked into your profile. I had to double check your age before I believed it 8'| you look so much younger.

RedBull light is not an option for you? a lot caffeine in it but no sugar
if you don't like redbull you can try Pepsi zero or something like it.

I drink only water, and it's been like that for five or six years now. I made a change slowly  and now I don't even need anything else. I think that you could just cut down on the pop at first. Good luck.

I love pop too!  I'm a Diet Pepsi drinker and I will never give it up totally.  It's very hard!

Thank you guys for your encouragement and compliments.  I want to the water where u put fruit in it and let it infuse.  It is such a small thing and I honestly didn't think it would be this hard.

I'm quite lucky really I've always hated sugary foods like cake, biscuits and sweets. And I have never really drank pop, I don't even like coke. I rarely have to go to the dentist, and I have never had any fillings. I love coffee though

                Wmmeden,    you 'gotta be from the North 'cause nobody in the South calls it "pop"  .    I  pretty much stopped drinking sod-- er,  pop  years ago.  Just too much sugar (or corn syrup as the case
may be).  Ironically,  I didn't start drinking coffee until  about 9 years ago when I switched from nights to days at the hospital.    Less sugar, calories,  but I needed the caffeine.    Few things in life are as unpleasant as a grumpy Bongo in the morning before the obligatory coffee.    Good luck with your goal.

bongo, nope I'm an Okie born and breed    I love it, just too much of the extra stuff I don't need.  Keeping my coffee, though.
