Updating profile in casinos after moving

                        I haven't seen anything on this subject, but I must admit I haven't read everything. Here goes: I am terrified to update my address and such in the profile section in casino cashier. It was bad enough losing my husband and our house of 42 years.  I am temporarily staying with mother and brother, but have been getting mail here. My credit cards have been updated and my bank sends my statements here. I don't know if billing address I signed up with casinos will show as matching or not. My drivers license just has a piece of paper with new address (thats all the DMV says to do).
                Just really hard to make that transition and hate to upset what has already been established. I can go on and on babbling about this, but does anyone know if I'm making something of nothing here. Should I go and ask support at each casino and risk the total chaos I may be bringing on?
            Any incite I could get from someone sure would help me get this dirty deed done. 
          May I also add I sort of recruited my brother and not sure all where he has signed up with his also new address.  Ohhhh what to do?

        Helwin, sorry to hear about all of that and my condolences in your losses.  But as they say and you well know, when a door closes another one opens up for you.

        I wouldn't stress about updating your address right away except for the cases of casinos where you regularly cash out.  If they say sorry, someone already registered from that address, then explain why and see what they can do.

        Do your other changes as needed, if needed.  Its been my experience they are more interested in duplicate IP addresses and email addresses.  Anyway, just my opinion, and hang in there, Helwin!

I failed to mention that this is anew place for my deposit, it's a rival casino, and I played on a free 500 made playthrough, max cashout 500 after deposit.  When I tried clicking on only cashout option, it says not available at the moment. Live Chat just told me come back few hours. I knew it would still say same thing. Really not very helpful. Just don't want to be suckered into depositing unless I'm sure.  There also was a no-no on my part that never got resolved because 1 rival casino shut me out because I'm US. Now all the rivals treat me like I'm plagued and they need to watch each others backs. All except Sunset Slots, they've been good to me, not sure how long they'll stay rival for me.
              you are right I will go to most comfortable places and tell them like it is. Keep your fingers crossed. And pm me if you need to. 500 is lot of money

        Some time back, I returned to my home country after spending several years abroad, during which time I opened numerous online casino accounts. Changing my address at many sites was a major but necessary hassle and, years later, there are still a few I haven't gotten around to updating. You're in a better position though since I assume you are still in the same country - presumably the US  - and can alter all your contact details without necessarily having to contact customer support directly every time (like i had to for the country field to be changed).

        I would strongly recommend that you update your personal info at any site you plan to play at beforehand so that there is no cause for the casino to delay or withhold any winnings due to you because your payment details don't match what is registered in your account profile. As long as you explain your current living circumstances (if asked) and provide copies of documentation (including your bank/credit card statements) with your new address when requested, you should be fine.

        Finally, it seems you've been through an extremely dificult time lately and I'm sorry for your great loss I know this is yet one more pesky task on top of the other responsibilities you've undoubtedly had to deal with - but I think it's worth it for the peace of mind in being able to play without worrying whether or not the casino will pay out if you win. Like chillymellow said, don't worry just yet about the sites you don't play at often but do make an effort for any you think you'll deposit at or cashout from in the near future.

        I've moved since I started playing at online casinos, and I just sent them the new utility bill and Id with new address. I didn't get hassled. In fact, when I updated, I still had the paper dmv paper and my id with the old address. Just confirm everything is good to go before depositing.
