I love Otis Redding's version but I saw this a couple years ago and thought Cyndi Lauper killed it ...
Before it begins, let me say that when I just watched it on Youtube, I got the urge to pass on the unimpressive video. BUT when I saw it the 1st time, I was locked in folding laundry while it was on my television. At the 3 min mark she picks it up a bit and by the 4th minute she is really belting it out.
