  • I must get more dense the later it gets.
I'm seeing many names you typed.

  • yes, you must be gabby.  Is it that you didn't know they all had "wayne" as a middle name, like John Wayne Gacy, the Killer Clown who raped and murdered 33 teenage boys?
Why is it that the bad guys always are mentioned with their middle names but the good guys usually are only listed with first and last?

And what about those who have first, then middle initial only, then last?  John F. Kennedy, Robert E. Lee...

    Interesting....

  • You got it, Chilly!
Thank God his middle name isn't Wayne.... laugh_out_loud

  • I gotta say, I just saw a bunch of names and thought perhaps you had a funny five minutes Nan.  Then I realised what you were saying. I'm inclined to agree with you - thank god his middle name isn't Wayne.

    blue

  • I wonder if anyone ever named their kid Wayne Wayne Wayne.

ah shoot googled it and "Happy, Texas" had a Wayne Wayne Wayne Jr.!

LOL  I read it and the 'Wayne' didn't register.  I must have been tired last night.
  • I got it Nan! And what a interesting observation...

I know when i was a kid i would think if only my name was this or that, as if things would be different. Or ya see people with certain names and think.....they look like their name!

  • yes, you must be gabby.

Didn't mention it earlier but that wasn't the nicest thing to say.

Had you typed the post as you did in the reply, I would have caught on right away. All the parenthesis clouded the main subject.

Anyway.... interesting subject. And... I'll refrain from posting when I'm dead tired. wink
  • too much bad Waynes---- Nan how do know so much bad peoples

  • My old man's first name is Wayne. He's a decent man. Gramma saved him by not putting it second. I am bummed you took a beating with some of the remarks wnanhee wasn't deserved. Picking apart how we write is bogus. Just my two cents.

And my 2 cents.  Sorry you felt I gave her a beating.  I in no way feel I did.  I said I was dense (for which she agreed) because I saw many names and didn't see the Wayne connection right away. Made sense once she pointed it out.

And I should add... it's perfectly fine for another member to say, yes gabby you must be dense?

Break time.  The nit-picking is not my cup of tea.
  • Yes, the joke was that Wayne is the middle name of each person listed.
Whereas, my father-in-law's first name is Wayne and thank goodness it wasn't his middle name; otherwise I would be worried - That was the joke.
As far as names go, the media always portrays bad people with first, middle and last name all together.
Even though we use a middle initial in some names, the person still has a name attached to it.
Sometimes my jokes can be obscure, no reason for anyone to take offense or be on the defense; it's all in fun! grin

  • Bless you Nan - I have to say on re-reading my post, I hope you didn't take it the wrong way.  I wasn't being disrespectful to you nor ever would I, as you know.  kiss

I'm so sorry, gabby, that's not the way it was intended.  I was trying to say something that should have sounded like "I hear you!" or "I know what you mean by that"
I was probably tired too and didn't notice the way it looked.  My apologies!

I love your obscure jokes. You are just too darn cute wink
  • Oh dear.

No apologies necessary but thank you and I'll send my apologies out too!

I've been misreading this whole darn thread.  I thought Nan agreed I was dense, didn't realize it was Chilly.

    Starting over!

Now that you mention it, Wayne does seem like a curse of a middle name.

I wonder if Casey Anthony will now be referred to as Casey Marie Anthony.  If the guilty have their middle name added, hers should be... since I think she's guilty. smiley

  • I like it just to call her tot mom, but I'm sure all of her civil trials will have her listed as Casey Marie Anthony, so maybe it will stick.

some days things just go wrong no matter what, so don't worry about any density issues, gabby!

(ps speaking of wayne.  wonder if dwayne is also cursed amongst middle names)

  • ..........and at the end of the day at LCB no matter what conflict or misunderstandings arise it all turns out the same.........friends forever. It strengthens bonds and brings us closer.

God i love this forum and all the great people who are apart of it!

    One great big kisssssssssssssss
