What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?

I thought being close to St. Patricks Day this might be fun. The luckiest thing that has happened to me is that I won 10,000.00 dollars on a scratch ticket a few years back. I paid all the bills and had plenty to have fun with!

It appears that I am the only lucky one!

I did think hard about a time when I was lucky and the only thing I could think of was when my son was born.  I didn't think it would count in terms of "dollar" luck.

I have had MANY MANY luckiest days and events in my life... i think it's because i DO beleive in Luck..

What's always been a mystery to me.. is that i have been told by alot of people i am their lucky charm, i bring them luck.. not only as in them winning money but events and happenings in their lives, they point these differences to me and state.. "if you weren't here it wouldn't of happened or turned out so well".. i just say psssshh naaah.... so how lucky is that to have wonderful people around me as well!!! Very lucky!

It does not have to be only money - other ways matters the most I think!

the luckiest thing in my life was finding my way back to church I'm not trying to be a holy roller but without God in my life i was lost but now i know some how some way things will always work out and when i die i know i will go to haven and that's really all the counts!!!

wow, i feel really lucky, so far as of october of 2009: In october 2009 i entered a contest for "monster mini golf" and won grand prize drawing for $2500 dollars and 1 year of free Lotto tickets, this drawing was 1 out of 13,000 of the entire US.
On december 25th, my brother gave me a $25.00 visa gift card for Xmas and the next day i decided to use it to play slots on Online Vegas on a slot called "Grail Maiden" after about 3 spins betting about $2.50 a spin i hit a bonus feature that paid out over $1500.00!! After meeting playthrough i cashed out with still $1500. On on january 2, 2010 i was contacted by an unknown number, i answered it and it was a woman who told me she had great news for me, i laughed and said "whats that?" she said: you entered a drawing for a trip to the bahamas, right? i said: yeah? she said: well guess what, you won! you and a friend are going to the bahamas all expenses paid! haha the trip was awesome BTW! After that i decided to play slots on Cirrus casino with $30 and cashed out with $300 on jan, 9, 2010, then i was still in the mood to gamble so i deposited $25.00 at Cool cat and cashed out with $500!! while waiting on my withdraw from Cirrus i decided to play at Slot of vegas with $30.00 and cashed out with $350! After getting my withdraw from Cirrus i loaded up another $25.00 to them and won $500!! and finaly yesterday 3/14/2010 i played $75.00 on Crazy Slots on a slot called "Cash Caboose" and cashed out $1000!!!

I don't think this is the luckiest thing that ever happened to me, but here are a couple recent ones.  November I won a Royal for $8000. played a little slots with it, turned it into $15,000.  Then won a couple $1800's and $1500's on Video Poker. February I won another Royal for $8000. plus had already won $500.  Then won $5500.
This is a little over $41,000 in 3 months...then i spent it hehehe 

Well one of the unluckiest things that ever happened to me turned into a luckier thing....a few years ago I used a product called Zicam nasal spray, well long story short I found out that I was just one of many human guinea pigs who had unknowingly signed up for a nightmare, I totally lost my sense of smell and joined a nationwide class action suit,I was awarded over 40k (before the lawyers) and still would trade it back to be able to smell fresh bread,a clean baby,coffee brewing, hell even a skunk.
P.S. Dont use Zicam!!

Well, like Tony, but in a more personal level. Feb 18th was lucky that heart attack didn't kill me. So, other then also finding my way back to church. I'd say that was a lucky moment.

Hey dj, you must really be a lucky person. Dealing with all those "casinos" like cirrus, cool cat and so on and not being the most hatefull person in the world can only be described with words stronger than "lucky"

One of the luckiest things to happen to me was finding my way into a church.  Second luckiest thing was hitting $1000 on a penny slot.

Finding my husband, which in turn led to my kiddos. They are the reason I am here.

My luckiest day was April 1, 1995, I finally said yes that I would marry my now husband. We had been together 5 years and he asked me atleast once a month, I didn't want to rush into anything ya know what I mean. Best decision I made. We have a wonderful life with a beautiful daughter, and after 20 years of being together he still makes me happy. Can't get any luckier that that.

Besides my 4 children....winning $3500 at a landbased in Gulfport, MS, where we have a home.  Paid for our family vacation.  Yay!

The moment I became a mom...that's the day that I found the truth of life and became a woman. I've learned so much from being a mother and I appreciate my own mother as well.

A friend was diagnosed with IBC a few weeks after me- so May of 2009.  She passed away in February.  She didn't make it a year, and she was the same level of cancer when diagnosed.  I am currently cancer free.  I found my own oncologist the day I was diagnosed, and she is the best in the city.  So I guess, the luckiest thing that has ever happened to me is that my body responded to the chemotherapy, and killed most of the cancer so surgery could be done, which enabled me to still be here today almost a year later cancer free.
