Hiya Guys and Dolls,

I loveeeeee food. Don't we all.... . Living in Chicago has it's benefits with culinary goodness from around the world. I don't think there is a ethnic dish that can't be found. It is really hard to choose just one culture of food.

Besides the more typical yum yum foods available, like Italian, Chinese and Mexican there is a pallet of tempting dishes that make my mouth water.

Probably one of my most favorite ethnic foods out of the ordinary for me is a little restaurant in the heart of the city that specializes in Iranian food. They have dishes and rice to die for!

But if i had to absolutely pick one........oh it's a tuffy but i would have to say Mexican food is my absolute favorite. Maybe it's the margaritas, chips and salsa that set the tone!

Awww,Lips...now we are talking...heh...I love and love food...I mean all kinds of food. I love Sushi, Vietnamese Pho-Guoi Tiao(perfect soup for cold), Chili Relleno, Chicken Curry........too many more to list them but I would still have to say Bulgogi(Bul-Go-Ki) is my favorite food in the whole world! Easy to make but it's better to go to Korean restaurant where you can also cook own your meat...:) -Bulgogi is a Korean barbequed marinated beef dish that is served with steamed rice. Pork can also be used. It is seasoned with a mixture of soy sauce and sugar giving it a sweet and mild taste.

Mexican is the best, my personal favorite is some "Poke Ca'nitas"(had to put that southern flava on it

Also I love me some good ol' southern Baked Mac & Cheese, Fried Cabbage and My famous Potato Salad and BBQ Baked Beans! That is some good eats!

I'm a big gourmet, and food is my domain. I also like to cook, and I consider myself to be quite a master-chef when it comes to certain dishes. I'm a big fan of classic Italian food, but to be quite frank (and I'm really objective when it comes to food), Serbian national cuisine as a whole is simply beyond anything I've ever had. I know most people here never tried it, which is a reason enough to visit us here.

I love you Lips, but it is the only recipe I have kept a secret! I will give it to my kids one day soon! I am actually getting ready to take everyone's advice and try and get it into stores, restaurants... I hope it happens!

My Mother and I splurged once on leg of lamb...The taste was a bit..."Gamey" and so I never tried it again...Chicken, porl, steak, chinese, mexican, and several other countries style dishes I have tried..Most very good...Very few never again
