        According to CNN these are the top 10 nations that like to indulge in alcohol:

        1. Great Britain tops the list. Traditional drink: Pint of bitter. Hangover cure: full English breakfast.

        2. China – Traditional drink: Baijiu. Hangover cure: Congee a porridge soup.

        3. Russia – Traditional drink: vodka. Hangover cure: vodka (got to love it)!

        4. France – Traditional drink: Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Hangover cure: French onion soup

        5. Ecuador – Traditional drink: Cristal. Hangover cure: oregano tea.

        6. Moldova – Traditional drink: Boza. Hangover cure: pickle juice.

        7. South Korea – Traditional drink: Soju. Hangover cure: Haejangguk (ox blood broth).

        8. Uganda – Traditional drink: Ajono. Hangover cure: Luwombo prepared with meat cooked in banana leaves.

        I also thought that Germans and Russians (along with the Brits and the Dutch) would top the chart, lol! Uganda was nowhere in my sight.

        Yes, I thought that UK and Russia would on top though I don't know much about drinking habits In China or Uganda.

                Whaaat?   the US ain't even listed on there (much less the Southern US)  you 'gotta be freakin' kiddin' me.    Shiiiiit    you guys should see what a tailgating party looks like during football season (real football,  no offense to my European friends) .  Spring Break,  our universities on the weekends, (or any given night for that matter), uh holidays in general LMAO.  we've got plenty of nightlife here in the USA !  I can't believe this survey,  we Americans are a thirsty lot if ever there was one,  Ahhhhh  don't get me started !!

        I tried that Soju drink when I visited South Korea a few years ago and it's terrible, I don't know how they can drink that to be honest.

        By the way, sometimes the Russians try beer as the hangover cure. So you get drunk with vodka and have a couple of beers the morning after, the hangover is gone and you're as drunk as you were the night before

        Hmmm ... i have to say this is quite an odd statistic. If you've asked me, my money would have definitely been on Russia. The next ones in line would have to be the Brits and Germans. The rest of'em are small time compared to these three, as far as I'm concerned.
