What scares you the most.....

Hi Gang:

   I have another question for today.

What scares you the most?

I'm not referring to dying, or losing a loved one, etc....although those are scary things indeed for all of us.

I'm looking for more of the "Horror" aspect.

It can be anything that makes your heart skip a beat, then beat out of your chest.

We are all scared of something. Even you guys out there must have something that scares you?

For me, It would be a strange noise in the middle of the night. Or how about dark ds/forest and being lost? Now those are some scary things to me.  ???

Right now, it would have to be that something goes wrong with my car and not being able to afford the repairs.

That or a bunch of spiders crawling around near me...

Dont like spiders huh? I must agree with you, and I knew someone would mention them. I can handle the little ones, but when they get to be the size of a saucer, or bigger, thats when I get crazy.  Snakes? Same thing.  Those buggers can kill you.

Scary stuff is right......

And your right about the other thing too. Car repairs are a real scary problem when you cant afford the repairs.  True true true.....

Hearing creaking noises in my home that are unexplainable.

Many years ago..in fact many many years ago, I was laying in bed and I heard somebody walking up the stairs.  It wasn't my husband as he was asleep in bed with me.  These footsteps were getting closer and closer and the hairs on the back of my neck were standing up, my eyes were wide WIDE open trying to "see" in the dark.  My heart was pounding so fast and I was rigid.  It turned out to be my neighbour walking up his stairs which were in the exact same position  as mine (my wall to his wall) and it truly sounded like he was walking up my stairs.  It was horrific and took me a very long time to get over that.

So unexplainable creaking noises is the scary thing for me!

Deer.....they might look cute and harmless, but if you ever get close to one in the wild, they are quite terrifying!

For me, I would have to say the glowing eyes in the ds behind my house at night when I let my dogs out, and I shine the flashlight in the ds. If I only knew what those creatures were!!!!!

Moths!!! Have you ever looked closely at their eye? big round dark eyes that stare right at you with that big wings. ewwwwwwww so spooky and gross. Give me a panic attack every time I see them.

True story, tho':
Several years back, I took my 2 kids (4 & 6 years at the time) out to the boonies to visit a friend. We'd never been to her home before, and knew nothing of it's history. Being out in the country, as she was, she had left her door unlocked so we could go in and wait for her, should she not be there yet. So, I took the kids in to a play area off of the den, and sat watching them play & waiting for her to come home. All of the sudden, I broke into a cold sweat, and felt as if I needed to get to my children [u]immediately[u], tho' they were but a few feet away. As I moved toward them, I felt an immense pressure that literally forced me to crawl to my kids.
My friend came in shortly after, and I explained what I'd experienced. She then informs me that the former owner, her uncle by marriage, had shot himself in the head there when he heard the police were coming to take him in...due to the child porn ring he'd been running.

SNAKES

Geez Lunachick that made my skin crawl,so I can just imagine what you were feeling,I dont think I'd go back in that house again even on a bright sun shiny day with a group of people! Apparantly you have a sixth sense, and thats a good thing.

This does not frighten me anymore because I am pretty much immune to it by now, it hasnt happened for quite a while but when I was in my twenties, I had the unique experience of having men expose themselves to me 6 times,(seriously). Why, I have no idea, after a while I starting thinking I had a sign on my back saying "show me your goods", I'm 50 now and pretty bored by the sight of one now, no big deal,(please pardon the pun), but I imagine that for some young girl it would scare her to death.As a matter of fact from my teens to mid twenties I was a magnet for freaks and crazies,for whatever reason they were just drawn to me, maybe because of my height,I'm 6 feet tall and have been since the age of 16,my sisters are also 6 footers and have had the same problems,but lucky me gets the prize for the most times, whoohoo!

BUGS!!!!!!!!!!! All of them.  But mostly spiders, earwigs, and centipedes.
If it crawls real fast...gives me a heartattack and scares the crap out of me.
If someone tries to scare me with one, I will beat them till the scare is out of me.
