Oh, Good lord.  I'm not smarter than a pre-schooler.  No wonder I have all my older kids help with the younger kids homework.

I would say it's traveling to the left since the right seems to obvious.

I know.. I know.. You're coming to come back and tell me the correct answer is North or South or East or West.

ETA:  I can't read either.  After I typed my answer, I reread the post and saw you clearly asked left or right. OY.

My first instinct was to say left so I'll go with that.

That is hilarious. I have no idea. I'm sure when you tell us I feel really really bad about myself.

Hmmmmmm lmaoooooooo omgggggg! Now is this pathetic or what i have to really think about it and still have doubts with my answer!

The problem is what side of the street is this bus on! Is it coming or is it going? There is no front or back. Now i know pre-schooler would not wonder these same things and the answer is simple as can be and we adults tend to over analyze but i am gonna say it's going Right!

The door to get in the bus isn't on this side of the bus, so, it must be going left.  Makes perfect sense to me.  right?  uh....

There is no way a pre-schooler is going to know the rules of the road and which way to go. It's a very tricky question but the answer is quite easy.

Imagine asking a little one what way is this bus going and what would they say? "It is not going any which way it is standing still" So my answer is neither right or left but standing still.

ps i wish i could take credit for this but........er um lets just say a higher authority here at LCB came up with that answer and i stole it!

our only choices are left and right.  If you are a preschooler, you probably know that you get on the bus through the door and the bus goes toward the direction with the door in it.  whether they could figure out if that is left or right, well, that's up to the individual preschooler.

Chilly is officially the only one of us that can keep up with the preschoolers... some others got the right answer with a 50/50 choice, but Chilly, you got it with the reasoning the kids used!

Here is the answer: Pre-schoolers all over the United States
were shown this picture and asked the same question.
90% of the pre-schoolers gave this answer. "The bus is traveling to the left."

When asked, "Why do you think the bus is traveling to the left?"

They answered:

"Because you can't see the door to get on the bus."

How do you feel now??

There there lips all of that clutter was doing you good yesterday with every other question on the forum!  You were there with an answer on just everything yesterday... so hold your head up and be proud of that clutter! 

and you have to know chillymellow thinks a lot like a child most of the time.  Or, at least, doesn't think quite the same way as most adults.

Hmmm.  So basically, although I said left and was right, I was actually wrong because I should have said right...being as we drive on the "wrong side of the road" here.
