Wish me luck!

Hubby & I have had a rough week and he decided to treat me by taking me to the casino tonight and we get to spend the night!  Haven't been in awhile so am looking forward to spinning on slots other than the super-tight RTG or Rivals!  If I get something yummy....I'll be sure to snap a photo with my phone (quickly before security sees me) and post tomorrow.  I've got $50 in free money waiting for me there in addition to *I think* about $30 in comp points so I'm hoping for some good luck on my favorite slots.

ps  Am stopping by the liquor store for a bottle of premixed Long Island Tea spirits to mix with our FREE pepsi in their paper cups which we quietly sneak down to floor and enjoy while we're spinning.  mmmmmm

Thanks All!!  OK, so BAD luck must just be following me everywhere I go right now.  Did terrible at the casino last night, lost everything I took within a few hours so I went up to the room, poured myself another drink and watched TV til my hubby decided he'd taken enough beatings as well.  I thought the online slots were tight...holy moly...they sucked at the land-based casino as well!  The ONLY place I got lucky was in our room    and that was just fine...actually...more fun!  So...I think I'm going to take a little break from gambling, a few days anyway...and hope that some new found luck will cross my path soon.  Appreciate all the good luck wishes friends

How in the world did you manage to walk up to your room?  I would have made my hubby share whatever he had left......even if we split equal amounts at the beginning.

Glad you got lucky somewhere other than the casino floor, that is more important in the long run.

I wished really really hard that you would have good luck. I guess I was in a naughty state of mind because you sure did!

I have to add a little funny story to my visit to the casino Tue and yesterday.  Before we left yesterday morning, my husband shared his $45 with me so we could grab one last chance at maybe recouping our losses, which I often do just before we leave the dang place.  My husband was a couple rows over playing slots from me and I noticed a lady that had walked up to him and began a conversation.  She walked away after several seconds and I didn't think anything of it.  Several minutes later, hubby finds me and I asked him what the deal was with that woman.  He said that she walked up to him and asked him if he had $5 to spare so she could buy gas to get home.  Him being the retired cop and "profiler" that often comes with the job....knew exactly what she wanted money for and told her "No, I'm down to my last $5 and have none to spare".  He said she didn't say a word and just moved on.  I didn't really get a close look at her but he said she looked like a meth user or a pretty serious drinker/drug user.

So...we're wandering around the casino, headed over to a row of slots we often play before leaving the place and he grabs my arm, points to a lady playing a slot I like to play...and there she was with a guy who looked like he just crawled out from under a rock.  And the worst part...as we were watching her spin the reels...she hit one of the mystery jackpots for $250!!!  Dang I was mad!  I asked my hubby if he was going to go over to her and ask for $5 so he could buy gas to get home...but he just smiled and said "not worth it".  Sure would have made me feel better tho!

I'm sure this kind of thing happens ALL the time at the casinos, I've just never seen it.  Guess its no worse than seeing panhandlers out asking for money on the streets for food/gas knowing they are going to buy drugs/alcohol with it.  Maybe I should start taking up a collection hat when I visit the casino and am losing
