Going to Tunica Mississippi!

Hiya LCB'ers,

Caesar's Entertainment is rolling out the red carpet for me this summer. They have made me an offer i simply can't refuse, no wonder they are the Godfather of land based Casinos!!

Got a postcard in the mail for 2 people round trip airfare and room for $99! Going next weekend Saturday June 14th for three days and i am bringing missy Froggy girl with me on this trip!

I have never been there before and can hardly wait. Will be staying at the Horseshoe Casino. If anyone has been there please share your tips and places to go!

Oh boy i am in for a wild ride in Tunica with you. 

          Oh Man! I am sooo jealous.  I've been to Biloxi 3 times but that was back in the 90's.  I haven't been back but I'd love to  I know what Froggy's talking about.  It's 'gonna be hot, hot, hot.  It's a humid heat,  not dry like Vegas.  You guys are 'gonna have a blast.    Sorry I've never been to Tunica  but  that's on my bucket list too.  Take pictures and come back with some great stories.

never been south of the mason dixon line to gamble but it sounds like a blast...

Wow lips Caesar's (Harrah's) has really noticed you!  That is what I liked about them when I use to go to Joliet on a regular basis.  They treat their players very well.

I am sure you girls will have a great time and I look forward to reading about your trip when you return.

What a fantastic offer!  Hope you both have a fabulous (and lucky) time. 

I am very excited about going. It will be my first time there but to be honest i always wanted to go to Biloxi, Mississippi more, mainly because they are on the Gulf.

The one thing that is really cool about this trip is its a charter. Which means it is a direct flight into Tunica. There is no commercial flights that go straight to Tunica otherwise. The only way to get there is to fly into Memphis, rent a car and drive to Tunica which like a 45 minute drive.

Since froggy is a Video Poker player too, we won't be so scattered from each other and i can use her phone to take pics. I was soooooo aggravated i couldn't take pics on my phone the last trip but i promise between me and Glo we shall have them this trip to share!

Sounds good.  Looking forward to seeing pix.  Some royal flush pictures would be nice.

Congrats on your trips Lips... hope you have some nice wins. 
My trip starts today after I finish laundry.  Hopefully I'll be updating with some nice wins and just general vacation photos on my trip to Chicago this week.

              I remember my mom telling me one time in the 90's  she won around $800  in Biloxi  playing video poker.  Since then I think it has become her favorite game.  She goes probably at least once a year now. 
Usually driving  from Tallahassee  takes about 6 or 7 hours, not sure.  You guys would love it in Biloxi.
I don't know if it's still in effect but I think the law was a casino in Miss.  had to be anchored or touching water I believe.    So the casinos were kind of lined up along the coast.    Gulfport I think is like that also.
Is Tunica on the Mississippi river?  45 minute drive isn't that far from Memphis.  I'm not that familiar with the geography north of Biloxi.   

I am dying to check out Biloxi . But for now the time is almost here for Tunica. I'm getting excited and hope that we've got some wins to share. Pray for us...

I don't think the casinos are "on" the Mississippi River but is very close by. Getting ready to leave in a couple hours and will have a full report on Tunica when i get back including pics!

I had some really good hands. I played nickel Five Play Draw  Poker and cashed over $1,000! Four aces + kicker and the Royal are worth 8,000 credits. My new favorite game!

Thank you! They were so pretty but too bad I've never seen anything like that on the quarter version. I'm not complaining though. I was dealt quite a few great hands. I had two decent days during our time in Tunica while lips was lucky every day except for one bad day pfff!

Here are some pics of my wins unfortunately the day i snuck out of the room at 5am froggy was still sleeping and didn't have her camera to take pics of the 3 Royal Flushes i got on the same machine in a two hour span!

It definitely was a great time. I must mention that I hit the Royal FIRST. Waaaaaaaaaaaay before lips ever did.

Yes she did and the best dream hand getting dealt 4 deuces for a payout on three lines!

The reason the royals were at 8000 was because you were betting 10 per hand.  As you know on the standard video poker machines 5 bet pays 4000.  If you were betting 5 per hand total bet 15 credits, the royals would have been 4000.  So in reality the machine is still paying the standard payout for most video poker machines.

        Those are some awesome screenies guys.  That is why I love video poker so much.    So if you don't mind me asking,  you guys come out ahead?    Hell I used to figure if I could pay for the trip,  food,  expenses with the winnings I was doing fantastic.    Looks like you guys cleaned house pretty good !

I did not come out ahead because i spent like a drunken sailor on the second day. So i managed to get back the extra i took out of the ATM and lost with the intended bankroll of what i started with. So in some ways yes, i was a winner even though i am really a loser..........lmaoo!

I think I broke out about even. That one winning day helped me out a lot.
