  • I can remember when I first signed up with LCB! That was when you could actually go into the Forum,click on a subject and really get results. Lately, when I click on the "no deposit casino" I become so unsure as to what I am going to find. At times, there are discussions on here that should be placed somewhere else. I remember the good 'ol days when I would not have to "hunt" for any no deposit bonuses. They were there, right in front of us but sadly today, if I see anything worth clicking on, I am lucky. Anymore, it has become too confusing with trying to keep up with the same hum drum no deposit bonuses and most of them are not for the U.S.A. players. Even the Weekly No Deposit Codes have become a pain to keep up with. Either the codes are expired or supposedly,"already redeemed." Where in fact, you know you haven't redeemed them. Even though things change and of course, it isn't ever the way we would like it to be, I continue to stay with LCB because they are the only ones I have put my trust with, when it comes to honesty. Though, I may sound as though I am complaining, I do appreciate the hard work the group has put together and I would never trade them to another. So, yes, there is no place like home.   • I completely agree, and very well written. The conversations about cash outs, the thank yous, the 'its my birthday" is getting really soapy and really hard to follow. If there is any way to filter out the conversationalism (word from Don King) it would really help to weed out the true No deposit bonus codes.

    I do agree with you in regards to ND codes becoming less and less. But this is an issue that is no fault to LCB. Members come here everyday to bring what little codes are available. I think we have just about every code that is out there at any given time thanks to loyal members that post them.

    LCB is fully aware that the free chips are not what they use to be. This is why staff works hard to bring our members more exclusives then ever. As far as the weekly code list is concerned, unfortunately they may not work for all. The list is basically designed for members who may have missed a code/codes during the week. It is quick reference and convenience made available for members without having to scour through endless pages.

    As far as the countless chitter chatter between codes, LCB has tried to keep this down to a minimum with implementing the thank you button. Some members use it and some members don't. I can understand that in some cases a post to thank a member maybe necessary when there is more to be said then just a thank you to show their appreciation.

    Zuga and myself have asked members more than once to stick to topic in regards to the ND section. When i do my weekly code list and search through the previous weeks codes i do remove the " i got"....."nothing for me"....smiley faces and "ty". I can understand members frustrations when they are looking for codes and they have to flip through 2 or three pages of off topic conversations.

    Once again i am asking members to stick to the topic of ND codes and please use the thank you button.

    Having said all that, i would not trade a single member for the world. This IS home and nothing will change the great community and LCB family that we have here. Sometimes because of this, members get caught up in conversations because of the close ties and connections we have all made.

    I am glad i have not yet had to click my heels three times and say......"there is no place like home".....because i am home!!

  • The real issue here is why is there a drought of codes... I guess only casinos can answer to that.

    As of weekly codes... it represents the updated list of codes that were posted at forums by members. Its designed to help members in their search for codes.
    And of course not all codes will work for every player due to multiaccounting, bonus whoring, redeeming several codes in a row etc etc.. We all know the drill

    Like Lips said, we have asked members not to go off topic on numerous times, to use thank you buttons, in order to keep the board clean...

    The alternative here is to delete all the "useless" posts , but I think the better option is to educate the members.

  • If you could change the "Thank you" (for posting) button, to make it larger , flashier, and put it right under the poster's pic, i think alot more people would access it. Also, a reward of some kind would REALLY put it into good use. Zuga you could put up a personally used T-Shirt as a first prize , and i bet you would have a contest that boosts "Thank You" button usage by %40.  I am noticing that alot of members post in order to increase their total posts and boost membership "title" I admire the zeal of wanting to be noticed, but its not the right way. Just my humble thought for helping a great community thrive.

    the thank you button is an extra forum feature, a plugin, and its set by default. Meaning once installed we cant alter it.

    Also I made a topic on thank you button some time ago :Want to say Thank You - New Feature, introducing members to the new feautre.

    I dont think the contest is a good idea, as we dont want for thank you buttons to be abused either.

    You are right about some members positng meaningless posts only in order to get the new "members title", and thats something we are trying to fight too.

    Ofc we are not preventing anyone to post, but the key here, like I already said, is to educate them.

It may be a bit more tedious than removing those posts, but I believe we'll get greater results communicating 1-on-1 with members.

    With that said, I dont see what the big deal is to have people give comments about the no deposit bonuses that have been posted, I mean we would like to know if they work or not, if someone is having problems withdrawing from them, or if everything is A-O-K. Just my 3 cents. Again.

    Thank you Lips for your reply.  All is good. I've been keeping an eye with my thread and really appreciate the comments.  I wanted to share this as an example in regards of the Grand Eagle Casino Subject for today.  I thought I would find a n/d bonus on there but it is all discussion. This is what I am talking about. It's great to hear what the casinos are doing but again, my time is valuable and nothing on there was even mentioned about a n/d bonus.

    Maybe there should be a posting section just for "No Deposit Casino Feedback" concerning issues of Casinos. I don't believe anyone will stop writing their opinions down, since this is a "forum" but maybe we can be able to speed things up a little more by just "adding" a "special" section where others can express and share their experiences.

    Well,I guess I'll close for now and hopefully, we all can come up with some sort of resolution. Hugs to all.

I believe we all have a right to post what we have had to go through with the Casinos concerning the N/D Bonuses...but their has to be some sort of an area where anyone can post what they have experience with the Casinos, Customer Service Reps, No Deposit Chips, etc. True, there is a section on here were we can say what we want but really, how many have taken the time to read it? Most that come on here "look" for the "No Deposit Casino" section and that is it. They want to play ASAP and don't have the time or  don't want to take the time out to read past the "No Deposit Casino" Section

    In order to keep the steady flow of comments running smoothly and not be bum barded on the  "No Deposit Casino" section where it should be nothing more than, "N/D Bonuses", than yes, there has to be a "special" section administered.

    Thanks for your input, and thought put into this problem. But i do not think that is the resolution. For one thing players want to discuss their experience with the chip right on the particular thread it was posted on. This is not a bad thing and it does bring knowledge and awareness to members. As long as the post is in regards to the free chip, i don't see a problem.

    The problem is going off topic and multiple comments like.."i got it"..."none for me" comments. One comment from a player stating they received the chip is fine. One comment about a player not receiving the chip is fine too. In that way members will realize it is a hit or miss chip.

    As far as going off topic i will make a post when i see it going off track. These things are difficult to control being it is a public forum.

    I strive to make this section one which relates to ND chips, at the same time its a delicate balance because i don't want it to be so rigid that members will feel intimidated to post period. LCB is based on a warm friendly community of gamblers, putting constant restraints on members is not cool either.

    In the future i will give a friendly warning to members to stay one topic when it goes astray.

    I hope this will help. Sorry to those that are frustrated....my aim is to please!!!

  • In my opinion as for the no deposit codes, most apply to RTG casino's, as for the check your accounts thats posted as well, and lips does an excellent job in posting them all.

  • Thanks Lip for your feedback. I've been a member since August 24, 2007 and it's been great. Back then, it was very easy to pull up the No Deposit Casino section and that is exactly what we got..N/D Bonuses from different Casinos. I know alot has changed since then but it is very discouraging when one can't find anything but "talk" on a certain No Deposit Casinos. I would not have ever written anything about this subject but for the last year or so, the no deposit casino section seems to have become more of a discussion forum rather than a "No Deposit Casino" section.  People need to take into consideration of others who want to find a n/d bonus code. If one feels a need to have express themselves than there has to be a 'section' just for that.

    Is it really fair for others that see, (example) "n/d on "such and such casino" and when it is clicked on, there is not one n/d bonus code except to find nothing more than pure discussions that at times can go 2 or 3 pages full?

    It's all about consideration for the other members. I hope you understand, I am in no way pointing fingers at anyone. Just have been dishearted lately on seeing more and more 'discussions' being taken over on the "No Deposited Casino" section.

    I know it hasn't been easy for you guys and I understand that LCB wants to have a "friendly' atmosphere..I am all for that.

Check out how much WORSE the babble has become this week alone. we really need another section for chat, and you could put MommieMachine in charge of it. The current Grand Prive board looks like a mess and all the responses are off topic chatting? Maybey its just me , but its getting harder, not easier to navigate a bonus here.

  • I personaly like the feed back from other people I feel that's what makes this site more of a family. There are plenty of sites to just get codes but they are cold and this site to me is like home, warm and fuzzy like a blanket that wraps you up and keeps you safe.

    Those are really good ideas, but to me that seems like alot of work just because a couple of people don't want to scroll up or down...That is just my personal opinion of course. I know some people are frustrated, but just like mamrone said, LCB is like a family, we shouldn't be afraid to comment on something...We could find a million places to get codes from but none will be as warm as it is here. Just my 7 cents.

  • Yeah, kinda a lot of work.  Maybe we could courtesy color-code actual bonus codes.  Members who are really anxious for codes could get in and out of the topic a lot faster.

  • I have been removing senseless posts like "me too" "got it" and "didnt work" after it has been posted one too many times.

    It is a good idea to have some chatter, because members need to know whats happening with certain chips.

    Bare in mind this is a public forum and we are not going to prevent it. It is just not going to happen. I don't want any member to feel like they can not speak. It is a forum that is based on fun and a close knit family. We put up with stringent rules every day in our lives. I would hope we would all want an atmosphere that is relaxed yet stay on topic.

    Any convo off topic are being merged and sent to another section. Last week between the holiday weekend and me being quite sick for the last two days i have not had a chance to clean it up. I do most of my cleaning up on Mondays. I am a bit behind schedule with codes and cleaning up the board.

    I hope to have it done by tomorrow.

    I just ck'd out the Grand Prive thread none of it appeared to be off topic as far as i am concerned. There was a lot of free chips in that thread given. Therefore most of the chatter was about the chip or casino.
